We are thrilled to welcome you and your fur babies to our delightful 3 bedroom and 2 full bath 1300sq/ft bungalow just minutes from charming downtown Fort Mill with all its old school warmth, vintage vibe, cafes, boutiques, taverns, golf, live music, parks, and churches. The perfect sweet retreat at the end of a day of sightseeing, celebrating with family and friends, after the big game, or once you’ve nailed that business meeting or a new job.

Watch the sun come up on the front porch with your coffee; relax in the cozy family room with a movie, book, or laptop; enjoy a glass of wine or sweet tea at the kitchen island as you chat about your day or just relish the quiet. This is your home away from home. Make it yours.

Less than 16 miles from downtown Charlotte, 21 miles from Charlotte Douglas Airport, and just a hop, skip and jump away from cafes, boutiques, live music, breweries, fine and casual dining, hiking, cycling, professional sports events, vineyards, malls, antiques, lakes, rivers, mountains, and countryside. The Bungalow is located in one of Fort Mill's more vintage neighborhoods with quaint front porches, rocking chair visits, and neighbors who have lived there for generations. Some of the homes are being lovingly restored and some are just well-loved. Be sure to wave to the neighbors as you drive by or as they walk past your front porch.

(This is not a highly affluent neighborhood although Fort Mill does have those just around the corner. We want to be sure to be upfront about that as it does matter to some people.) This home has been very well managed & listed on Vrbo for 2 years under previous owners with 5-star reviews and never a safety issue. We have managed it personally for 4 years as of June, 2025.

The bungalow was a wonderful, comforting place to come home to after the emotional events that had us in Fort Mill. The host? TIP-TOP! Couldn’t have made it any easier. Decor?? Will be in our hearts forever.

The bungalow is truly cute and cheerful! We loved the fact that everything was very thoughtfully laid out. Everything in the kitchen was an excellent working order. It was cold during our stay in Fort Mill, but the heat was really comfortable and there was plenty of hot water when we needed it. A couple of mornings there were deer outside along with bunny rabbits rabbits and plenty of squirrels. It was nice and quite very relaxing. Recommend highly. It is an older neighborhood and it appears that many of the homes are being renovated. That being said there was never any noise at all day or night.

The best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had with a rental. Every part of the home was super clean. The host communicated every step of the way and has clear instructions for check in/out. I highly recommend this host and property.

Overall Great Stay

We really enjoyed our stay in Fort Mill while attending a basketball tournament in Rock Hill—just a quick 22‑minute drive each way.The house was spotless and very well equipped. We were greeted with a thoughtful welcome basket of goodies and found a fresh bag of ice in the freezer upon arrival. We cooked breakfast a couple of mornings in the spacious kitchen, sipped wine in proper glasses, and used plenty of blankets to stay cozy. The bedrooms were generously sized, and the charming décor throughout added a warm, personal touch.A few items to note:Master shower head sits low—around mid‑chest height for someone 6'4", though perfect for shorter guests.Master mattress was too soft and lacked support.Hallway bathroom lighting was dim; the owner quickly sourced a new fixture, provided tools, and we installed it ourselves—big improvement!Driveway is steep, and the street is narrow; larger or low‑slung vehicles should proceed cautiously.Neighborhood noise: one evening there was unexpected ruckus nearby, enough that we considered calling the police.On the plus side, the AC worked flawlessly during the heat, and the owner accommodated a late checkout when our final games ran late.All in all, a comfortable, well‑appointed home in a convenient location. With a firmer mattress and a taller shower head, it would be perfect. We’d happily stay again!

The property was super cozy and clean, there were lots of towels, pillows and extra blankets available for use. The kitchen was very spacious and light. The beds were comfortable and temp control was perfect. The host is SUPER responsive and attentive! Decor is super cute my kids loved all the animal canvases!

Awesome Stay

The only thing we had an issue with was the height of the shower head in both bathrooms. I’m 6’3 and my father is 6’1 and we both agreed that we were having to squat down a good bit to be able to wet our heads lol. Other than that, the property is very nice and the host is great as well.

Comfy and cozy

This home is very clean and well appointed, the beds were comfortable not too firm not too soft, but just right. There was plenty of room for eight of us to stay together for a long weekend away from the daily grind. The host was in touch with us and made sure we were taken care of. We would highly recommend this home to anyone without hesitation.

Quiet Get Away

Three friends joined me for a christian conference at MorningStar Fellowship Church. The church was only a ten minute drive away. This little gem of a place was a quiet place for us the rest after a very busy day. The house was clean. The beds were comfrontable. Two of the ladies enjoyed sitting outside in the backyard one of the afternoons when we had a extra time to rest at the house. The color scheme of the house was lovely. The kitchen was just the right size. We enjoyed the gift basket and fresh cut flowers that awaited us on our arrival. We will stay here again on our next trip to MorningStar Church!

Nice bungalow!!

Our recent stay was very pleasant. Courtney was extremely helpful and responsive with any questions we had. The bungalow was very clean and homey and our kids settled in nicely picking their rooms as soon as we walked in the door!! It felt like home away from home even though we were displaced due to a water leak in our own home. Courtney takes pride in her property and it most definitely shows!! I would highly recommend this property to anyone needing a place to stay. You will not be disappointed!!

Great house in a convenient location

The house has a ton of room and plenty of sleeping space for a large family. Amenities that we appreciated were the large backyard, washer and dryer, and off street parking.There are many options within walking distance (1 mi) including CVS, WalMart, a large park, a coffee shop, a donut shop, and all of the shops and restaurants in downtown Fort Mill.Courtney was a very responsive and incredibly thoughtful host. We would 10/10 stay here again. Thanks again.

A Perfect Stay in a Beautiful Home!

We had an absolutely perfect experience staying at this VRBO property! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we could need. They even set up a Christmas tree for us!!! What a pleasant surprise! From the comfortable beds to the welcome gift basket, every detail was thoughtfully considered to make our stay enjoyable and stress-free.The outdoor space was a highlight— it had plenty of room for our dogs to run and play. It was wonderful to have such a pet-friendly setup that made our furry companions feel right at home.While the location might not be ideal for many, we understand that this is beyond the host's control and didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the house itself. For anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and well-maintained place to stay, this property is an absolute gem. Highly recommend!

Birthday trip to Carowinds

We took our 16 year old, two of her friends, our 14 and 8 year old to Winterfest at Carowinds as a belated birthday outing for our 16 year old. The host was so sweet and left her a basket of goodies for her birthday. We found the Bungalow to be cozy, clean and super convenient. We had breakfast at the Poppyseed Kitchen which was delicious and right around the corner. Plenty of other shops and restaurants located close by, as well. Very quiet area, in general. Loved the front porch for sitting and sipping a glass of wine. Highly recommend!

Attention to detail

Great stay. From water in the fridge to welcome cookies to shampoo in the shower the owner showed attention to small things that make a stay great. Thank you She mentions that the front door sticks a little, get you shoulder ready, it sticks a lot…

Charming bungalow

Our host(ess) Courtney was truly superb, great communication and helpful with every request. The property is charming, clean and cozy with serene decor and cute original art in every room. The location is tucked away with easy access to quaint old Fort Mill and major roads to other areas we needed to visit during our family gathering. Courtney accurately describes the neighborhood in her listing but we had no issues at all with this working class area, and found the value for price charged to be excellent. We were very happy with this choice!

Clean, quiet & comfortable

I grew up in the Midwest, studied Finance & Real Estate in Colorado, and ended up in New Zealand for 19 years followed by 5 in SoCal and a recent move to NC. When the picket fence didn’t eventuate, God decided a passport was a fair trade and I have traveled extensively over the last 25 years. I initially traveled alone but then shared my journeys with my 2 sons who have learned to treasure memories over material things. If I’m not traveling, I’m reading, learning, drinking coffee, or building an empire in my head. Sometimes all at the same time.

This Vrbo bungalow is my 1st and my son, Journey, and I are working together as a team to create something special to share with our fellow adventurers & dreamers. We are fixing up our 2nd one not far away and hope to build a legacy for our family for generations to come.
