Comfortable Duplex Unit - Beautiful Lake Views!

Summary:
Unique and newly renovated duplex in the new Waitts Lake Resort. This modern lake-facing escape features fantastic lake views, accommodations for 6 guests, and gives you entry into the entire private resort and its facilities. This includes access to the private boat launch, beach, swimming area, community amphitheater rock fire pits, new rec room, and fishing docks. A fantastic location for both summer and winter activities!

The Space:
A short walk from beautiful Waitts Lake, this duplex offers an exceptional modern design with some warm rustic touches. Enjoy the many amenities this property offers from the fully stocked kitchen, to the personal and custom outdoor fire pit with rock seating area! Grab one of our included campfire forks and make some s'mores with the family! This space also includes a 55" TV with DISH programming for those rainy days or cozy evenings indoors. Enjoy the included 4 burner BBQ and included beach towels as well! Fantastic for summers on the lake or ice fishing in the winter! Please keep in mind that this location does not include Wi-Fi and cell signals can be spotty. BOOK NOW!

Guest Access:
Parking is provide next to each side of the duplex units. Only 2 vehicles are permitted to park per duplex unit. You are able to park a second vehicle behind the first but not in front the other duplex.
Prior to check in please send the license plate numbers of the vehicle(s) that will be there during your stay.

For those guests that want to bring a boat to the lake please know there is $20 dollar per day boat launch and mooring charge. It is collected by cash, check, or payment app that starts with a V from the local resort host.

The Neighborhood:
This unit is part of the new Waitts Lake Resort. This unit will share all resort amenities at no additional cost. Quiet time for the resort is from 11pm to 8am so please be respectful to your neighbors.

Other Things to Note:
For those guests that want to bring a boat to the lake please know there is $20 dollar per day boat launch and mooring charge. It is collected by cash, check, or Venmo from the local resort host.
We provide starter sets of basic essentials such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo/conditioner, etc. It will be the guest's responsibility to replace if any of these items run out during your stay. Generally there is plenty and this usually only impacts long term rentals.

Interaction with Guests:
We do not live onsite, however, the resort is managed by a camp host that can address any immediate issues or concerns. Any additional assistance can be obtained by reaching out via phone or text message.

Cozy cabin

We loved our stay here, the cabin was clean and well maintained. It's a short walk to the lake which had a great swimmimg area. It was a great relaxing getaway and I can't wait to go back again!

Clean, Tidy, Nice View

We had a nice stay at the property. We loved the snowy weather we got (and the drive was nicely plowed) and the view across the lake from the site, which is on the uphill side of the road, was very, very nice. The place was immaculate and nicely outfitted. Two small suggestions would be to a) try and update the address location on google maps. We spent a bit of time looking on the lake side of the road where google maps points to the Waites lake resort building for the given address and b) consider a lamp on the main room end table so there is an alternative to the overhead lighting when it comes time to relax. Thanks for a nice place to visit for a few nights!

Perfect winter getaway. It was nice to have a full kitchen and a view of the lake, and the unit was clean and cozy. The hosts made communication easy. Really cool that the resort has fire pits and lake access too.

Beautiful Lake View Stay

Had a great time in this clean and spacious duplex located right across the road from Waitts Lake with a beautiful view of water and a variety of wildlife. Perfect for a few people or a couples getaway with just a short distance from restaurants and grocery stores. Looking forward to staying here again!

Nice accommodation with beautiful views, and the lake is lovely. Owners let us check in early and the unit has full kitchen with supplies. Beds were comfortable. Our group had a wonderful retreat! Thanks!

Cute, tidy and clean cabin

This cabin is very clean, tidy and, well, quaint. It has ample parking and east access to a nice beach & swimming area. The outdoor fire pit was an added plus. The owners did a terrific job of communicating all pertinent details leading up to our visit. This property is highly recommended for a relaxing, family getaway.

Beautiful property

Such a beautiful property with numerous amenities. They even had coffee and creamer for us to use which was much appreciated! The lake was right across the street and very convenient to access. The duplex was the perfect size for our family and our kids had a great time roasting marshmallows by the fire pit.

Beautiful!

Loved the place, we rented both sides of duplex. Beautifully furnished, very comfortable. Furniture nearly new. Well stocked kitchen, but recommend bring a few bigger pots/fry pans if have larger group. Also had some kitchen supplies like tin foil/ plastic wrap, but ran out of garbage bags, and no plastic containers for leftovers so bring those. Had nice towels, shampoo and conditioner. Wifi was pretty much non-existent but we were warned , good time away from internet! Nice fire pit but need to bring or cut your own wood for fire, no axe so bring one. Swimming and boat launch right down hill- very close!!! Nice air conditioning unit- kept place nice and cool, had extra fan in one unit but not other. Had high chair and play pen as well. No washer or dryer. I am short and had some difficulty teaching cabinets and living room couch and chair were deep (my feet didn't touch the floor), bed high as well. Might want step stool if short ā€” but if tall will be perfect! Has good variety of spices, had some sugar and coffee but will need to bring all other dry goods ( pretty typical though)- was nice to have the supplies that were there!! Well insulated- even construction traffic intermittently didnā€™t bother inside! Overallā€” loved, loved, loved it!!!!!

Great Weekend Get away

The place was great, clean and updated. I appreciate the lack of work-fi, because nobody could be on their phones. The place is updated, and had lots of extras ( spices, coffee, ice, and a bbq). The location is quiet, and has a great view. The only thing that I could recommend is a regular bed instead of a bunk bed.

Clean home in quiet neighborhood. Worked perfectly for our hunting trip. Plenty of room to park which can be a challenge in some other homes. Hosts checked in to make sure everything was good.

A good place to relax and enjoy your stay with lake and mountain views

This house sits at ~ 2000 ft above sea level with great lake views. You can enjoy some of the views without even stepping outside. This is on a mountain and you easily get confused during the nights for the first time when you try to navigate. But, you don't need to worry as the check-in instructions are given were easy to understand. This area is covered with snow everywhere and felt like a winter wonderland. We didn't go anywhere for any activities as it was snowing most of the time when we were in but I came to know there is a ski resort nearby. This is a 2 part house construction meaning you have the house to yourself and private, but another side is also for rent which shares a wall. Once we entered we felt very warm and cozy. The entrance of the house is covered so you have privacy as no one can see the main door directly. I felt it's very thoughtful. The living room is nicely arranged and the sofabed was nice though we did use it was very comfortable. The TV is mounted where you can move it to left or right but sitting on the sofa and watching for a long time made us a little uncomfortable as we have to see the TV at an inclined level. Maybe that's because we never used to watch like that before. Also, there is a chair which I liked and is very relaxing. The coffee table was also sturdy and they kept some games that you can enjoy. The kitchen is sufficient for 4 of us with all the essentials like spices and utensils stocked and kept ready to use. We have to wash the utensils again as they looked not very clean. The refrigerator is big enough to keep all your essentials and also can use it for making ice as well as for drinking water. Both bedrooms are great and comfortable. Both our kids liked the bunk beds very much. Extra pillows and blankets are kept in the closets for use. The bathroom is very nice too. We liked the way it was kept. Soap, shampoo, and conditioner are stoked for use. Enough towels are there for your use. A few things to keep in mind, this house has no telephone, internet, and constant interruptions of Dish TV that were provided. We couldn't see any TV for an entire day and a night. On a side note, a few trash bags and toilet paper in the bathroom would be great. Also, a few scrubs under the bathroom slip mat would be great. Jerry and Natasha are very kind and responsive when we needed something. Michelle who manages the property also very responsive and helpful. I recommend this place to couples and families alike.
