Beautiful modern Aspen Core Condo- 2 Bed 2 Bath, AC, pool and hot tub

Beautiful, clean and 1 block to town, this updated garden level 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condominium is perfect for accommodating a couples' ski trip or a family vacation to the mountains. Quiet, yet close to everything Aspen, is key. This condominium is 1.5 blocks to town and 3 blocks to the gondola. A ski-out trail located to the side of the complex is accessible for skiing down to the gondola.

Each one of the 2 bedrooms includes a lush queen bed with luxurious, high tc sheets. Full en suite bathrooms come complete with fluffy new towels, magnified makeup mirrors and hair dryers.

The living room has 2 comfy sofas with luxurious soft fur throws for lounging after a long day of outdoor activities. One sofa is a convertible sofa which pulls out to a queen size bed.

You will not need a thing in the kitchen as most every pot, pan and dish you could ask for is included. Most spices, salt and sugar are available as well.

The large granite island kitchen is perfect for sharing a gourmet meal and stories about the day. Have a glass of wine with friends or enjoy house provided board games with family.

For relaxing, step into the heated year-round pool and hot tub which is located just steps from the condominium.

We would be happy to have you as our guests and help you with your travel plans. Making your trip memorable and comfortable is important to us. Feel free to ask any questions regarding the condominium or the Aspen area.

A few other items you may need to know:
-You will not need a car as all that Aspen has to offer is within walking distance
-A Condominium parking pass will be provided
-The condominium is 2 floors
-Both floors have access to each level by 2 exterior doors
-The view is limited, especially on the first floor
-Air conditioning
-A stackable washer and dryer is located in the master bathroom
-Free Wi-Fi
-Beverage refrigerator by dry bar
-Four flat screen TV's
-Electrical appliances: Keurig coffee maker, toaster, blender and 2 hair dryers
-Access to owners (my husband and I) for any questions that may arise 24 hours / day during your stay
-My husband and I are locals of the area and are available to help you with any questions 24 hours per day. We are more than happy to assist you with restaurant, shopping and/or activity information in the town of Aspen.

Please note: This is a non-smoking unit and pets are not allowed due to HOA rules. City of Aspen lodging tax to be charged is 14.4%, State & County taxes to be charged is 6.9% in additional to all rates unless rentals are more than 30 days.

The host is amazing and so welcoming. Lovely setup in a well appointed condo. We enjoyed lounging with tv in the am and they even have throws to stay cozy on the couch! Very quiet building only heard someone a couple of times. Parking is a bonus too! Highly recommend!

Apartment itself was gorgeous. The two stories is a perfect solution for extended family stays. The location itself could not be better. Youā€™re steps away not from one but two lifts, one sorta hidden so you can easily access the slopes anytime.

At the base of Ajax

On a very positive note I'd say that this condo's location is by far it's best attribute it's at the base of Aspen mountain. It's also walking distance from the lifts and its just 100 feet to the spa tub and heated pool. A big plus is that the unit has it's own washer and dryer which is not too common. The owners also left us a generous gift of bread, peanut butter, bananas, kind bars and nuts.However, the condo is very small and dated and it is on two levels and the first level is actually subterranean, below the level of the parking lot outside so there is no view to enjoy. The TV's didn't work great and two cooking surface lights in the kitchen didn't work and we didn't find the beds very comfortable. I have been renting in Aspen for many years and I usually find a humidifier in my unit which makes sleeping much more comfortable.

Incredible Location, Excellent Hosts!

We had a wonderful stay and cannot speak more highly of the hosts and their communication. From the initial booking request, to details of the upcoming trip and help during our stay, the hosts were extremely responsive, kind and informative. The location is unbeatable with ski in/out access through back of complex if you're skiing Ajax with lockers available. Walking distance to everything including free shuttle to Snowmass, Highlands and Buttermilk. Walked into downtown for fun evenings, shopping and groceries. Only complaints were that there is no view in this unit, it is a groundfloor/underground unit so no mountain views which can feel a little confining. Used the pull-out sofa and there were crumbs in the bed, cleaning crews must have missed. It wasn't the most comfortable pull-out bed. Coffee maker could use an upgrade as it is a single serve keurig so for several people to make a cup of coffee it would take 20 min. All in all though, those are very minor complaints as the unit was clean, well-appointed and close to everything! Hot tub was just right out of the front door across parking lot so it was quick access. Great for a long day of skiing. Hosts were so helpful, accommodating and gave great recommendations to the town.

We loved the location and proximity to town. Everything as walking distance. The condo is beautifully furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. We loved that this is a ski in-ski out property. We will definitely be back!

Best Host Out There

Brian and Janis were great hosts for our annual ski trip. I've used VRBO for ears and not once have I had someone actually stock our fridge with snacks upon our arrival. That small gesture alone set the tone for a great overall week. Property was clean and they were more than accommodating. Would definitely rent from them again and highly recommend to all.

Cozy Retreat

This cozy retreat made for the perfect stay for a family of four. Perfectly curated with every amenity needed not to mention quality ultra fresh bed linens and towels. Location was ideal easily accessible to every spot in town! Janis had lots of thoughtful touches and even some snacks to hold us over our first night. Janis was an amazing host.

Came for Food & Wine 2023ā€¦hosts were beyond helpful in arranging everything, including adding a night! Hosts even asked what snacks wife and I would like! Condo is beautiful and everything looks/feels new. Perfect location for Food & Wine or ski season!! We will be back!

Although we had a minor problem at check-in, the property mangers could not have been more accommodating in helping getting the issued resolved. They reacted exactly as you would have wanted under the circumstances. The location of the property is excellent!

Very nice aspen 2BR condo, close to gondola

Very nice unit, great hosts who have provided for everything you would need from my experience ! Close to everything in aspen and 5 min to gondola, but it is on top of a gradual hill, and has stairs- in case mobility is an issue. 3big tvā€™s, cable, etcā€¦very cozy and comfy, good beds- everything as advertised!!! Bldg has parking but it is on bottom floor so no views.

Great spot close walk to to town

We were really happy with this Condo. Beds were super comfy and they had plenty of nice touches around the house , soft blankets etc. I also found that they stocked it with the basics like salt, pepper, oil, laundry detergent. It is always frustrating when a condo has nothing and you have to buy a giant detergent for the three days your there. They really made sure there were plenty of the ā€œbasicā€ items . Our family was very comfortable here and would definitely stay here again.

Terrific location and easy walk to everything in town! The unit is cozy and super clean! The owners are AMAZING and gave us great recommendations and tons of information on Aspen! Only thing missing is the view - but all else is well worth it! Highly recommend!
