You would be renting the 2nd floor of this lakefront home with beautiful views of Lake Winnisquam. This property includes a sandy beach, firepit, grills as well as boat docks (available upon request).

If interested in a boat dock, please provide the size of your boat as well as your phone number so we may contact you.

The 1st floor of this home is also available for rent (look under Property Id 2329337).



Large front patio with barbeque for grilling.

Conveniently located near the Lobster Connection seafood restaurant and the Winnisquam Country Store & Deli, both excellent places to eat.

Our stay was amazing! Very cozy space and we absolutely loved the views! Starting and ending our day sitting in the deck was awesome. Would absolutely stay there again. Also the hosts are very quick with responses.

Great location.

Wonderful and convenient location. Spacious unit. Great views of the lake from the deck. Owner (Craig) was very attentive and friendly. We had a wonderful time... Highly recommend.

Great location and layout

On the lake, right by an amazing country store and Lobster Connection (where we ate twice, not counting leftovers).We loved the bunk room and the overall layout of the property.The living room/den is perfect for us and the kids, and perfect for "us" after the kids are asleep.Our host was very gracious and involved - happy to address the one or two small items I mentioned immediately. Don't want to say too much, as we don't want the secret to get out! Looking forward to staying again next summer.

Excellent location and price

It was a wonderful waterfront getaway. Very much like an old family cabin on the lake. The outside fireplace area was enjoyable on the cool Autumn nights. Lots of outside dining spaces to enjoy morning coffee or evening cookouts. Ample parking and next to a fabulous seafood restaurant.

Fun Lakeside Getaway

Enjoyed a nice autumn weekend at this property. There is a dock and direct access to the lake. We had lobster on the deck and enjoyed the view. There was a fire pit near the lake, which we enjoyed with guests staying in adjacent properties. Sizewise this particular property is great for a smaller family. We also liked having a kitchen where we could cook our own food.

Excellent location and amenities

We just spent a week at Craig‘s place. We chose the top floor and it was a fantastic week. Craig is super friendly, personable, and a fantastic host.The place is within walking distance to restaurants, the country store, miniature golf across the street, ice cream, most anything you need.There’s a sandy beach out side that’s perfect for sitting by the water, swimming, floating around and relaxing. The top unit has a nice size living room with AC, a fully stocked kitchen, and two bedrooms, one with AC. The two ACs in the house keep the whole house at a great temperature. The bathroom is well stocked. If you’re looking to have a great time at Lake Winnisquam, you can’t beat this location or host for a great week. Oh, and say hi to Cody the coyote for us!

Amazing

The pictures do no justice! Our family had an amazing stay! Location was perfect, the home was extremely clean and comfortable. We hated to leave. Morning coffee on the deck over looking the lake was one of our favorite things to do.

A Relaxing Week

The chalet was great! Everything was clean, quiet, and spacious. It was well located - 20 min to Weirs Beach and right down the street from mini golf. The view from the deck was even better than it appeared in pictures and Craig was very responsive to any questions we had. I had to work a few hours while we were there and the wifi worked perfectly as well. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Lakeside Get Away

My husband, 6 yr old son and I had a great week at the Lakeside Funky Ski Chalet. The set up is perfect for anyone traveling with younger kids because although it's on the smaller side, you can't hear what's going on in the living room when in the bedrooms. The place was clean when we arrived and you could tell that everything was pretty much brand new. We loved having our morning coffee on the little porch overlooking the lake. There's also a patio downstairs if you prefer more room, but we thought it was fantastic being higher up. There is a marina right across the way if you want to rent a boat, which we did, and the sandbar is so close that we were able to take our paddle boards over in minutes. The house is located right behind a seafood restaurant and just steps away from the general store, which had fabulous sandwiches and pizza. It wasn't a far drive to the Tanger Outlets, Weir's Beach, Fun Spot, Meredith Center and the Squam Lakes Science Center, which is one of my favorite places to visit while in NH and I think a must for anyone traveling with kids. Being only the second renters there were a few kinks to be worked out (minor things), but the host, Craig, handled them immediately. He was actually one of the most attentive hosts we've dealt with in our many years of renting through VRBO.

It was a great spot. We enjoyed walking on the dock and fishing. The room was very nice. The shower is a little awkward with the slanted roof, but for a long weekend it is easily overlooked with with the value of everything else.

Great place for a vacation on the lake

2 adults & 2 midteen boys stayed & there is plenty of room. It is also very sound proof. Some ceilings are a little low, & a little tough for a 6'2" to take a shower as the ceiling slants. Bring some extension cords with multi plug outlets. There is 1 outlet per room. There is 1 AC in the living room, but even at the end July/early August having the windows open at night cooled off our room enough to sleep & we had temps in hi 90s all week. There is everything that the site lists! Owner was very responsive to texts. The grill & fire pit are shared w/ downstairs rental, but I just told them about what time I wanted to use the grill & we worked it out. We brought a small 18 foot boat which was perfect for Winnisquam. We tubed, water skied, & spent a lot of time at the sand bar, so pack snacks, floats, & water games. The water was LOVELY! We went on day trips to Polar Caves (30 min drive) Wright Museum (45 min drive) Weirs Beach (20 min drive) We did the Rail bikes. We had a great time with everything! You get a free coffee w/ breakfast sandwich at the Country Store, & the food was great there! Other restaurants are a quick 5 or 10 min drive in either direction. Casamigos in Tilton & 405 Pub in Laconia has excellent food, prices & portions, & O's seafood is great but on the pricey end. Craig and Cindy THANK YOU for being great!!! These are my only negatives & they have nothing to do w/ the owner or this unit: the guy next door is grumpy, do not go on his dock for any reason at any time, his wife takes pictures of things you do, Craig is aware of the grump guy, and the guy at The Lobster connection will yell at you also no matter how slow you go. Neighbor said he does that to any new vehicle he sees.

Great place!

My husband, my 2 kids and I stayed here for a week at the lake. The area is spacious- much more so than it shows in pictures. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The dock was great for fishing off of. The water is in a “no wake zone” so although there is boat traffic, it is nice and calm. We will be staying here again!
