Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath plus Loft East Rim Condo (Unit D23) has been completely remodeled and provides immediate access to all the Purgatory Resort amenities. It is ideally located across from Purgatory Lodge with unmatched Ski in/Ski Out access which offers ultimate all-season convenience and high-end luxury at an affordable price.

This condo's location is unbeatable! The East Rim complex is centrally located adjacent to the main skier plaza and is just a short walk to the fastest and biggest high speed lift on the mountain, Purgatory Express. Located just a step away from the hustle and bustle, restaurants, shops, and skiing amenities of the primary base village at Purgatory Resort, it offers the convenience of a central location, with the privacy of a mountain-side retreat. With its unbeatable views and cozy interior, our condo is the perfect escape after an epic day on the mountain. This newly furnished residence will not disappoint! Please note the condo does not have a washer/dryer but does feature super fast Starlink WIFI.

The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. For an additional (and optional) 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. When booking, just advise if you would like us to add the additional 4% resort fee.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay).

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

This was great ski in ski out stay for our whole family. I was surprised that we had to pass through the bunk room and upstairs bathroom to get to the main bedroom. The kitchen was well supplied and we had a great time.

Group of 5 men, 4 skiersOverall place was very friendly, easy ski in/out as described. Everything worked. Suggestions for small improvements as follows:Cleanliness of condo on arrival was lacking, namely the previous renter had a pet who left us a doggie special on the back porch which was almost stepped in; similarly there was dog hair on a lot of furniture & surfaces. If pets are allowed the condo must be cleaned more thoroughly.Second suggestionā€¦have a welcome book with descriptions of the area, location of amenities and most importantly a quick how to for the fireplaceā€¦loved the wood burning but was not familiar with that typeā€¦there is no clear understanding of whether or not a flu is open or closed; starting a fire was no issue but didnā€™t want to do it until I knew the smoke would draft and not ruin the whole place.More hooks, towel bars, etc are always handy for jackets, etc, provide more towelsYou should disclose the spiral staircase is super tight, no way my 82 year old father was going up that, nor would a larger person be able toā€¦ fortunately my dad stayed downstairs and the rest of us were fine going up and down.Lastly, as a coffee drinker, and something very important to most who rent, invest in a nicer coffee pot. That cheap unit is not good.Please take my comments constructively, for my group, this place worked great, but just a couple changes and it would be even better. Thank You!

The location was perfectā€”exactly what we were hoping for when booking our Christmas vacation. If youā€™re looking for an easy ski-in/ski-out stay, this is a great choice.The condo is newly remodeled and very nice inside. It comfortably accommodated our family of six. While it does list space for eight, it may feel a bit tight due to limited storage for personal belongings. We cooked dinner at the condo every night and found the kitchen stocked with basic utensils and pots; however, we were glad we brought some of our own cookware, as there were limited pan options for preparing dinners. There is also very little space to store dry groceriesā€”other than on the counter or floorā€”as the cabinets are already filled with kitchen supplies. Because of this, the condo may appear a bit cluttered during your stay, especially if you plan to cook regularly.The condo does tend to get warm upstairs at night, so we took advantage of the cold weather by opening the windows for better airflow. When temperatures dropped, we mainly relied on the fireplace for heat, as we werenā€™t able to get the heaters to turn on. Fortunately, the fireplace worked well and kept the space comfortable.Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay with an unbeatable location, and we truly enjoyed our time here. We will be back to D23!!

Beautiful condo, great location at purg. Super cute and spacious, pics do make it look a little bigger, and the stair case is super small, and could be difficult for some people to climb. Well stocked and wifi worked well. All around great space, and would stay again and recommend.

This is probably the best-located unit that allows pets for ski in/out access. Close to the pool too. FYI the far right thermostat is the one that controls the downstairs bedroom. This was really difficult to figure out and we couldnā€™t sleep in there because it got so hot. There was other signage throughout the unit so I wasnā€™t sure why these werenā€™t labeled. Very cute decor!

Fun unit, great location. Tons of games, toys and fun things for the kids including spiral stairs and large loft area. Updated lighting fixtures and furniture throughout, exactly as pictured in listing. Bonus area to hang and keep entire familyā€™s ski/snow gear in laundry next to entry and outdoor bench/coat rack a plus. Came across a couple housekeeping items during our stay and pleased that management was quick to respond and remedy it upon being notified.

Awesome location to lifts

It was a great weekend retreat. Wonderful access to lifts and amenities. The home is well stocked and very comfortable with one exception. Staircase to second floor is super narrow and steep. It is a struggle for older people to traverse especially with any luggage. We had to use pull out bed downstairs for grandparents. Management service is responsive and available for problems and questions.
