Thank you so much for your feedback! We’re glad to hear you had an overall great stay and truly appreciate your flexibility with the slightly delayed check-in. While we always aim to have the home ready right at 4:00 PM, occasionally a little extra time is needed to ensure everything is perfectly prepared — and we’re grateful for your understanding. We also really appreciate you mentioning the upper bunk railings. Safety is incredibly important to us, and we’ll be reviewing this right away to see what improvements can be made. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. We’d love the opportunity to host you and your family again in the future!

Thank you for staying with us, and for completing a review! We were happy to host you and your group, and are so glad to hear that you had a good stay. The listing states that the home is "close to the lift area". Sorry if that was misleading to where you expected the property to be located. The listing also says - "This condo features parking for 2 vehicles in front of the unit." It does not advertise "covered parking". We hope to have the opportunity to have you stay with Vacation Rental Collective again in the future!

Thank you for leaving us a review. Your feedback is important to us. In June 2022, a second 50 gallon hot water heater was added to ensure plenty of hot water. We are unaware of any electrical issues and have not had any reports of electrical issues subsequently. We would have addressed any electrical issues during the stay had we been notified.

Thank you for your detailed review! We're thrilled to hear that you had a great experience with Vacation Rental Collective and the location, and that the space worked well for your large group. We truly appreciate the feedback on areas for improvement as well. We apologize for the issues you experienced with the kitchen sink, hot water, the upstairs heat, and the bathroom tub drainage. These definitely sound like things that should have been in better working order, and we have taken the steps to fix these issues. As for the dish pods and toiletries, we understand your concerns about sustainability and waste. We have taken this into consideration and will work on providing more eco-friendly alternatives for larger groups in the future. Thanks again for bringing these points to our attention, and we hope to have the chance to welcome you back with an even better experience next time!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the home, the spacious layout, and those beautiful mountain views — it’s wonderful to know it worked well for your group. We really appreciate your feedback about the directions and signage. The complex can definitely be tricky to navigate, especially after dark. We’re updating our arrival instructions to make them clearer for future guests and will include additional details to help pinpoint the correct building more easily. Thank you again for staying with us and for sharing your experience — we’d love to welcome you back on your next visit to the Durango area!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. There is a short bit of walking to get up on the ski slope but the slope is adjacent to the building next door. Call us and we can help you find it! We heard your feedback! In June 2022, a second 50 gallon hot water heater was added to ensure plenty of hot water regardless of group size.

Hi Aaron, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're truly glad to hear that you enjoyed the fantastic views, found the master bathroom delightful, and appreciated the easy to access to ski area - it's wonderful to know the space worked well for two families sharing a vacation together. That said, we're very sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with the kitchen. We completely understand how important a well functioning kitchen is, especially for guests planning to prepare meals during their stay. Your comments about the stove, oven, dishwasher, sink, cabinetry, and utensils are taken seriously, and we appreciate you bringing them to our attention. We've already begun addressing these concerns with our maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure they are resolved promptly and future guests have a much better experience. We truly value your honest input - it helps us improve to provide the best possible stay for our guests. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for an even better visit in the future. Warm regards, -Holly

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're thrilled to hear that you and your group enjoyed your stay and appreciated the home's amenities. We truly apologize for the ice buildup you encountered at the front step. We're actively working to address this and will ensure it's removed before future guests arrive. We appreciate your understanding and your feedback, and we look forward to welcoming you back soon! -Erika

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a thoughtful review. Your feedback is important to us in improving our overall guest experience. Firstly, we are so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay in this condo and at Purgatory Resort. We love to hear that it had everything you needed. Thank you bringing our attention to these items. We have alerted our housekeeping team to be sure to run a vinegar wash on a more regular basis and apologize that it was not done prior to your visit. I wouldn't want to wash my clothes in a smelly washer either. We are really glad you called us so we could send them out to do the wash cycles. We will also keep a close eye on it and replace it if the wash cycles don't ultimately help remedy the problem! We will be replacing the screen door - again, thank you for letting us know. We hope these things did not detract too much from your stay and we apologize for any inconvenience they may have caused. Other than that, it was a pleasure to host you and your family! We hope you come stay with VRC again for your next visit to the area :)
