Experience the first tin roof house built on the Emerald Coast, a look followed by many .

Enjoy the sounds of the surf uninterrupted by the chattering of neighboring porches and relieve yourself from technology relaxing in the allurement of this home.

Front porch hammock , private upper sun deck and outdoor shower are features .View the night sky architecturally framed on the upper deck and absorb the magnificent Western sunsets from main porch and boardwalk.

Great restaurants abound in this area, but for those who love to cook the kitchen is fully equipped for the simple to the Julia Childs cuisine. Shucking oysters, cracking crabs, and boiling shrimp make our 'Live off the Land' visitors very happy. A moments walk lands you at Fontville Press a coffee shop with a most unique playground. Wine tastings are offered during the week.

For the outdoorsman, engage in surf fishing, flounder gigging, biking, walk paths , nearby golf and deep sea fishing.

Windblown Cottage has all the wrinkles of time enjoyed by family, friends and special renters for over 30 years. We hope you will find the grace of our home a unique experience and return year after year.

Heaven on Earth!!!

I just can’t say enough great things about this amazing spot! The location is absolute perfection there’s nothing like sitting on your own porch watching the waves and the kids playing in such close access to run back-and-forth for whatever is needed throughout the day. The kitchen was so much fun to cook in it was equipped with everything you could imagine. I like to cook so each night I enjoyed fixing a meal for my family looking at the window at the beautiful view and that table fit Everyone And we had so many nights of eating and telling funny tales and just great quality family time. We were so thankful for the chairs and umbrellas we did not have to buy anything for our stay and we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor showers. Our teenagers loved having their own balcony/patio up top And sat out there most nights listening to music and playing ! This is definitely a place we would rent again it was wonderful!!! Also the decorations were impeccable a Nancy Myers film could be there at any point

Family Beach Vacay

The view and access to the beach was amazing. We had a two year old, a four year old and and 82 year old. It was so nice to have the beach right outside our door. The house was also very well equipped with everything we needed. We loved every minute of it! Hope to be back again next year.

Wonderful stay!

We love the location and views from the back decks! Sunsets are amazing. This is a rustic cottage with a ton of charm. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place for you. Well stocked kitchen and lots of room for 8 adults. Everyone enjoyed the week.

Amazing Location

Windblown Cottage is a hidden gem on 30A. It’s history, location, and charm are second to none. Our favorite place was the expansive back porch that offered an uninterrupted view of the gorgeous beach. The owners were extremely responsive to all of our questions. They were personable and friendly. Can’t wait to return!

A little piece of heaven

Windblown cottage made my family fall inlove with the beach all over again! We were there during spring break and while most of 30A was super chaotic, our area was super chill and relaxing. Windblown has been around for a long time. Way before all of the new construction everyone sees on 30A. When you walk in you immediately see the family history on the walls. It is obvious that making family memories is what matters most! The beach house itself is shabby chic in such a perfect way! Out your back door is your own private walk down to the beach (made the BIGGEST difference for us!!!) Having little ones that can go back and forth with no cause for concern… Made this place PRICELESS! Windblown has become part of my family’s MUST DO vacation spots from here forward.

Perfect getaway

We loved our stay at the cottage! The house is in a perfect location near shops and restaurants, but you still feel removed from the crowds at Rosemary and Seaside. Our only criticism is the house was not clean. The floors in the bathrooms had hair stuck to them, the door jams and refrigerator handle were dirty, and it could have used a thorough dusting. With that being said we had a wonderful time and would stay again!

Charming Classic Beach Cottage

Our family had a wonderful stay in this charming home. The spacious porch overlooking the Gulf was our favorite spot. The kitchen was fully equipped which was appreciated and the location was convenient to all that 30A has to offer. Being able to enjoy the beach any time of day or night made for a memorable trip.

Lovely beach cottage

Windblown cottage was a great place to stay for my family. The beachfront location was perfect for my children who enjoyed playing in the sand and swimming everyday! My one criticism is that the house was not thoroughly cleaned from the previous occupants. There was toothpaste in the sinks, dirt on the floor and a pair of underwear wedged in between the bed and the wall. I notified the owner of this. I think he may need to hire a different cleaning company! Otherwise, lovely cottage and perfect location!

Fantastic location and the perfect house for a quick (or longer) vacation. the house is a refreshing sight on an otherwise unremarkable set of condos - and the views from upstairs and down are terrific. Beach access so perfect. Look forward to going back!

An Absolute Dream!!

I can't even begin to say enough great things about this property! The pictures do not do it justice. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the most magical trip we could have asked for. The house is gorgeous! You really feel like you are at home at your own private beach house. All the little details make it feel so cozy. We were here in February, so it was a little too cold to enjoy the beach very much, but the views from the porch are unreal!! We are already trying to plan a time when we can come back in the summer! We also decided last minute to stay an extra day and the owners were so accommodating. If you are wondering if you should book this house, do it!! You will not be disappointed!!

Quintessential Cape Cod Cottage like no other on 30A!

If you’re looking for character and not your cookie cutter beach house, this is the house for you. You’ll feel like you’re at your best friend’s home that’s been in the family for decades. Perfect beach house!!

We fell in love with this beach house and will be coming back again. The owners were great to work with and took care of all our concerns about the beach being open this week. So glad that they did and we were able to make this trip and enjoy their home. The kitchen is fully stocked with any appliance, pot, pan, bowl or spice you could imagine. So many beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards that we left ours in the car for the week. Wonderful Old fashioned beach house !! Perfect for our family vacation!!! Thanks again for all your patience in working with us.

Awesome Vintage Beachhouse!

We loved this shabby-chic beachfront cottage!! There is a view of the ocean from every room! It was hard to leave that wonderful porch, even in the rain it was our favorite place to be! The sunsets are magnificent! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable! Loved the layout of the house! The upstairs bedrooms lead out to a private beachfront balcony! We slept like babies! I actually like that we had to bring our own linens and towels, made it feel like home. I can’t wait to go back! Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us!
