Beautifully Remodeled River Run Condo

This is a beautiful, remodeled 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo. The downstairs bedrooms have the king and queen beds. The third bedroom has the twin beds. The second queen bed is in the exposed loft area. There is a full sized washer and dryer on the main floor. The kitchen has granite counters, top of the line stainless steel appliances, and hard wood floors.

The entry is natural slate. Natural slate is also used as accents in the kitchen and fireplace hearth. The fireplace is made of local river rock with a wood burning insert. The condo is decorated with designer furnishings and locally made custom benches and stools.

Antique skis, snowshoes, and local art grace the walls. Knotty alder doors, cabinets, and woodwork complete the warm feel of this unit.

The unit is located on the second floor and has beautiful sweeping views of the ski mountain. The complex also has a pool and hot tub. A small private outdoor deck includes a barbeque. The grounds have plenty of grass areas and tasteful landscaping.

The location of this unit is fantastic. It is short walking distance to the River Run lift, the bike trail, as well as to the town of Ketchum. It is a 5 minute walk to all of the local gourmet restaurants, drinking establishments, shops, and art galleries.

Host was very responsive and helpful. The condo has two nice bedrooms on the main floor and some additional spaces upstairs. The kitchen is nicely renovated and has sufficient space for two people to work independently. Overall, a very pleasant experience for two couples traveling together.

Awesome spot close to the lifts

Great condo with everything we needed for a fantastic ski vacation. The hot tub was nice too after skiing all day.

Wonderful place to stay in Ketchum

We had an amazing stay at Peters condo - great kitchen, comfy beds and the fireplace was amazing - so awesome that Peter even provided wood for the fireplace. Great communication during our entire stay!

Peaceful beautiful property!

We had an excellent experience staying at this condo during our 6-day visit to Ketchum, Idaho. The place was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable for me and my employees. The beds were cozy, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the location was perfect—close to everything, yet peaceful.The host Peter, was kind and communicative throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. We really appreciated the hospitality. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Convenient location and well appointed

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was superbly appointed with nice bar ware, glasses, dishes and anything for cooking. Wood burning fireplace/stove was lovely and created a wonderful ambience for after skiing. Location was prime and could walk to River Run and downtown Ketchum. Plenty of room for 2 families of 4

Four Over 60 Ski Dudes

This is the second time we have stayed in this condo complex. The unit was nicely furnished and the kitchen was updated. You can’t beat the location for skiing and the communal hot tub was excellent(we met some really great people there).

Great location!

Wedding weekend

Great for our ski vacation

Peter was a great host and very helpful. The location is close to the River Run base area but we choose to drive there with our ski gear. There is also a bus stop right at the complex. And a great hot tub. My friends and I had a wonderful time.

River Run in Ketchum

Communication with property manager was quick and easy, property was clean and had all the necessities, with an easy walk into town. As hot as it was outside, the condo stayed cool and comfortable. The pool was wonderful! Had a great time!

Grandmas vacation

It was nice to be close to lakes shopping 🙌 the lights in the bathrooms flicker on and off so only thing that needs to be fixed and some of the outlets . I would definitely rent again.

Great stay!

We loved this condo - it was the perfect size for our group! Super cozy living room, loved making fires and relaxing after skiing! It’s only a 5-10 min walk with skis to the River Run base, which was amazing! Also only a short walk to town. The only thing that was a bummer was that there were no toiletries… the king bedroom has none, not even hand soap. But overall would highly recommend!

Andrea, I am so sorry. That is not the way it is supposed to be. There should always soft soap dispensers at every sink. There also should be shampoo under each sink in the bathrooms. This is unacceptable and I apologize. Thank you for the positive review and letting me know we slipped up. Peter

Comfortable condo in great location

It was unseasonably hot while we were there (90+) and the condo is not air conditioned which was not too big of a deal but a couple of fans would have been nice especially in the loft. My husband and I used one in the master bedroom but the teenagers were a little warm. The location is great--easily accessible to the ski slopes and easy walking distance to town. The beds were very comfortable and the decor is quite attractive. It was very clean as well.

This renter let me know how warm it was when they were there. We ordered new tower fans immediately. We always take our guests recommendations into consideration to make the condo as pleasant as possible. We appreciated that these renters let us know right away that more fans were needed.

The location of this condo is amazing. Walking distance to trailheads as well as downtown Ketchum. Condo has a cabinish feel. Kitchen is very well supplied for making meals at home. Heads up there is no air conditioning so afternoons in the condo in July were warm. Very nice place. D&L

Great Location

Great location, could walk to hiking and into town. Kitchen and bathrooms well supplied with equipment but a little low on supplies- soap, garbage bags. Pool and hot tub we close and easy to use. Only issue was were were there on a really hot weekend and there is no AC. Bedrooms had fans but no ceiling fans. It was a great trip.

Great Stay in Ketchum

Second floor condo with vaulted ceilings. Quite unit in a nice complex. Very close to the Ski lift and the Big Hood River (great fishing). Great location for day trips to other awesome Idaho locations as well (Stanley etc.). We took an easy stroll into town and had some fantastic meals at local restaurants. Easy entry process. Great communication from Peter who was awesome to work with. The beds were comfortable and the unit had all necessary items for cooking. Efficient washer and dryer. Would stay here for sure next time we venture out that way. Thanks for a great stay.

Centrally located, reasonable priced

We stayed here for the Sun Valley Bike festival and Enduro Cup Race. Since the festival was in the town square, it was very nice to be able to easily walk back and forth for the events and for restaurants since there was minimal parking in town. The condo is attractively furnished and the beds were comfortable. We had two cars and there was always adequate parking in the condo lot. There is a nice pool and a hot tub (under repair while we were there but it was too hot anyway). It was unusually hot (high 90's) while we were there so my only suggestion would be a couple of portable fans for the loft and the other main floor bedroom since there is no air conditioning (not usually necessary). We had a fan in the master which worked nicely.

Condo in great Ketchum location

First, the owner Peter was great to work with. He was very responsive to all messages and emails. We had an issue with the kitchen faucet and he had his maintenance guy there quickly to fix it. The condo is in a great location. Easy walk to the greenbelt path for many miles of biking and walking along the Big Wood River. Also a quick walk to downtown Ketchum restaurants and shops. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. Be sure to bring your own shampoo, soap and conditioner as these are not provided. The condo is nicely furnished. A few of the windows and blinds need to be repaired as they are difficult to open and close. Unfortunately some of the other Condo residents had parties on a couple of the evenings that went past 1 am and were pretty noisy despite signs saying quiet hours started at 10pm. It wasn't the owners fault but it did make for a couple tough nights for sleeping.

I moved to Seattle, WA from Chicago 7 years ago. I visited friends in Sun Valley in 2009 and 2010 and fell in love with the beauty, outdoor activities and social aspects of the town. One reason I bought this home is to have my brothers and sisters and bring my nieces and nephews, who all live in the eastern half of the country. In late 2013 I asked Heather to marry me at Silver Creek and we were married in the Valley in 2014. We look forward to taking our new daughter Nora there for many years to come.

The two main reasons I chose this home is the easy access to skiing, fly fishing and the town. I absolutely love that I can walk to town to grab dinner, a drink, or visit the galleries and wonderful shops. I was told that you come for the skiing, but you stay for the summers. I have found that to be true.

The unit is real warm and cozy with all of the knotty alder and stone. It is just a nice place to stay.
