Cute 2 bedroom guest house with access to Lake Michigan and Mackinac Bridge Views. Located close to downtown St. Ignace and Ferry Docks for Mackinac Island. Just a very short walk through our back yard to the lake. Please note that this is a guest house and the owner lives on property.

Everything was as stated. Lovely little house in perfect location!!! Hosts were responsive and super nice when we met them in person. Enjoyed the bridge view for coffee in the morning and a cocktail in the evening

Cute and cozy

Stayed here to visit Mackinac Island and the surrounding area. The property was easy to find, very clean and well kept. Only six minutes to the ferry dock and great bridge views from the property. The hosts were friendly and proactive in reaching out ahead of our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Me and my kids ages 25 and 22 had the most wonderful experience. We hadnā€™t hadnā€™t had a vacation together in 5 years. I had been to Mackinac Island before and I wanted them to experience it because theyā€™ve never been there. . This cottage was amazing. The kids loved it. I loved it. Everything was perfect close to everything. Thank you, Austin!

St. Ignace Stay

We stayed here for two nights as we explored the UP and visited Mackinac. The home was very cute and was a great place for us to relax and have as a base. We would definitely come back.

Nice relaxing vacation

The property was perfect for us for a quick getaway. The house has been remodeled and is fantastic. Owners were super friendly and we would recommend this to everyone. The property is a unique setup and the owners were be helpful and accommodating.

St Ignace Stay

This was a very cute cabin in st Ignace. It was perfect for what we needed. They were readily available to answer questions and allowed for us to use their yard to view the bridge. The home was very neat and clean and we would definitely stay there again in the future!

AMAZING LOCATION/VIEW

Super cute, quiet, and clean place to stay! Our first night, we were able to walk through their backyard to their lake access where we could sit and watch fireworks over the Mackinac Bridge at night! Very short 5 min drive to the ferry dock, and other really good restaurants! Hosts were SUPER friendly and gave great dining recommendations. Not to mention their super cute dog, Miley! 10/10 stay and ABSOLUTELY would stay again!

There is no internet service available which made things a bit difficult for us since we do not have smart cell phones. It was nice to be able to walk down to the lake front. A nice fire pit in the yard!

Guest home was conveniently located off the highway. Very nice on the inside. The main home where owner lives is very close to guest home. Didnā€™t have great cell service. Things that would have made this place perfect was having Wi-Fi and enough hot water to take longer than a 10 minute shower.

The house was nice and clean, small for 4 people. My problem with the place was the water, It smelled and tasted so bad. The barbecue was so dirty, and there was mold inside. we spent some time cleaning it which is the last thing you wanna do when you are on vacation.

Perfect Get Away

The cabin was great! Austin messaged us with easy check in and out procedures. The cabin was beautiful on the inside and Austin was very responsive to any questions we had. There was not shampoo/conditioner or a hair dryer on the property, I brought my own so no biggie, but I often times travel without those items. Also just a heads up there is no WiFi. We tethered our phones to the smart tv for some TV for our toddler. Overall it was an amazing stay and we would stay again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed our visit.

Every thing was great beds weā€™re comfortable, the house was super clean. Austin quick to help in anyway. Great view of the Mackinac bridge. My one issue was it is there guest house and its really close quarters to there house it wasnā€™t what I was expecting. I didnā€™t see any photo or information saying that it was that kinda of situation. But it wasnā€™t a problem Iā€™m more of a private person and was looking forward to no one around.

Great view of Mackinac Bridge

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The description is accurate. The owners communication was excellent and quite attentive to questions and requests. The view of the lake and Mack Bridge was spectacular. You do walk through the owners back yard but not a big deal. Perfect size cabin for the 2 of us. No wifi or cable service. Bring some DVDs if you want to watch tv. Our cell phones worked fine. Location was excellent. So close to ferries, interstate , restaurants and stores. Make sure you buy fudge in St.Ignace!

A Relaxing Five Days In The Woods

The little cottage was not luxurious, but had everything we needed. There was one thing missing, and our host provided that immediately. I so preferred this to some noisy hotel. The kitchen and bathroom were both remodeled recently. Our host Austin was very accommodating, and open to suggestions we made to further enhance the experience for future guests. Loved looking out to the tall beautiful trees. The host does live close by, but this was not a problem whatsoever. We walked threw his yard to the lake to watch fireworks over the Mackinac Bridge one night. Thank you Austin!!

Great little house!

Three of us stayed at the house before we walked the Mackinac Bridge for Labor Day! The location could not have been better! The house was great, very nicely redone and decorated. We had what we needed and were all comfortable. The view of the water and bridge from around the owners house was beautiful and we felt very comfortable walking through their yard. Itā€™s not a negative because they donā€™t claim to provide but just a noteā€¦bring your own shampoo and conditioner. There was bar soap. No hairdryer or wifi. Our phones worked fine without it. Overall an amazing location and house! Hosts are very communicative. We will definitely be back!

Misleading Listing

The listing is quite misleading. When we checked out the property online, it never stated the cabin was in the front yard of the property owner - the homes are 30ish yards apart. To get to the view of the bridge you have to walk through the front and back yard of the property ownerā€™s home. Regarding the cabin itself, the ceiling and bathroom exhaust fans were dirty. Also, the water smelled strongly of sulfur - it was undrinkable and difficult to use for even quick showers. Finally, the check in and check out procedures were non-existent. Overall, our party was beyond disappointed, especially given the per-night price point.
