Our stay at this property was perfect. The host was great with communication. We had zero issues during our stay and we felt confident if anything would have come up, it would have been handled in a timely manner. The location is perfect, close to the ferries. We can highly recommend this property.

Perfect spot

This is an immaculate house that was just perfect for us, it’s sometimes tough to find smaller homes on the water. Well stocked with thoughtful amenities, great location.

Awesome location

Amazing views and screened in porch for lounging and eating. Location is conveniently close to ferry and downtown. Highly recommend.

A perfect getaway cottage!

This cottage is wonderful! It is cute, clean and a perfect location. We did day trips to the many spectacular destinations in the UP and then we enjoyed each night overlooking the lake either on the beach, patio or sunroom. St. Ignace has many cute restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed watching the sparrow families in their houses on the beach and also the many birds on the lake. A perfect getaway from the big city!

It's A Breeze!

Great beach house, excellent beach with incredible sunrise! Very clean, close to downtown St. Ignace and host shares a wealth of knowledge of the area. Would definitely rent again.

Beautiful location

The house was a perfect spot for our first visit to the UP. The view is incredible, the house was clean and well stocked. The host was very responsive and welcoming. Our two couples throughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommended this property.

We loved the house and location. Peter exceptional host. Very responsive and helpful with suggestions for restaurants & things to do. There was a binder that contained interesting fact and helpful information. Everything we needed was provided in the kitchen. We had good wifi and air which was great since we had some hot days.

It’s A Breeze

Beautiful, quaint, well taken care of property in a quiet neighborhood right on the beach. Great proximity to visit 3 of the 5 Great Lakes and very close to the ferry which takes you over to Mackinac Island. Overall, a very comfortable house in a beautiful spot!

Stunning Views

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was just as advertised. You can’t beat the views of the lake, night sky and sunrise. Would recommend 100 percent. Main bedroom bed was very comfortable and the new bathroom is great.

Peaceful Vacation

We had a wonderful time at Its a Breeze. The cottage is so cute, very clean, and had literally everything we needed for our stay, minus a grocery store trip! We were very pleased with the amount of room we had for four, with two teenage girls in tow. The location is very peaceful. Pete was very easy to communicate with, and the entire stay from check in through check out was seamless. We will definitely stay here again when we come back!

Absolutely gorgeous location

Great place, both the location on the beach and the home itself. Very comfortable! Well stocked for a visit (kitchen and beach supplies) and plenty of room for two couples to share (and still find alone time). We didn’t want to leave! Also, Pete’s recommendations for restaurants and provisions were spot on! Thanks, Pete!

Squeaky Clean+++

This property was squeaky clean PLUS!! It was IMMACULATE! The location was just far away from the city to feel peaceful but close enough to get to shops and restaurants within a few minutes. There was plenty of room for a girls' (lifelong friends) trip of 3! The sunroom was my favorite place to be! Pete was great with communication both before and during our stay. I highly recommend this rental. Since I am a teacher, I'll grade it an A++!

UP Adventure

My husband and our family have been to the St. Ignace/Mackinac Inland area many times but this was the first visit for my brother and his wife. This property was wonderful and the perfect location to visit this area and up into the upper peninsula. The host was very helpful and the house was the best equipped VRBO I have ever stayed in. Linen and kitchen cabinets were so full of supplies that I don’t think you could look for something and not find it. The sunroom and the private beach were my favorite places. We maybe saw 7 other people on the beaches the whole time we were there. So private and peaceful! I highly recommend this property!!! Ginny

UP Vacay

We enjoyed ourselves immensely! There are too many positives to list about the host and beach house!!! However, I feel it would be helpful to mention the room our older kids (17+) slept in was a very tight space. Three of the kids had to put their suitcases in our room. Their room also was a little extra warm...most likely due to the room's window on the east wall and the sun shining in. A shade on the window would have helped this and helped them be able to sleep in a little better. I on the otherhand enjoyed waking up to the wonderful sunrises!! These were little things and definitely did not keep us from enjoying this great house on the waters! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful home with us.

Island view experience.

Great location to bring the family. Perfect size for small family. View of the island was fantastic. Location is ideal. Right off I75. Easy trips to Taquamanon Falls and the locks. Ferry to island just a few miles away. Great hiking trails within an hour. Local burger joints like Clyde’s and especially Gateway City Garage had incredible burgers and right across from the marina. Jose’s was also a great Mexican restaurant. Beachfront is sandy, but it’s really rocky in the water. Plan accordingly. Beach fires were great and plenty of firewood provided. This property could be enhanced with the addition of a few kayaks. Also, only one roll of TP in each bath are provided. Bring some along. Peter is a great host and always quick to respond to any questions.

Nice get away

Me and my husband stayed in Pete beach house 4 nights.House was very clean and have nice updates.We was able to walk to Ferry Star Line dock 3 ( 2 mile distance, was very nice walk for people who likes to walk lol , and we are one of them)Pete was very helpful, always answer our questions.House have good location and the beach is very nice.I highly recomended this property.

I love Northern Michigan and The U.P. The perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Metro Detroit where we (my wife, myself and our son & our Border Collie) reside. I have an attention to detail from my work in Real Estate (selling all over MI, Florida, The Carolina's, Arizona & Other states), that transfers over to my vacation rental property! I want everything to be perfect and have worked very hard to provide an upscale destination for folks to use and hopefully, relax!

We found this property and totally gutted it to make it as comfortable and upscale as possible. St. Ignace is unique for the U.P., it's a "big" small U.P. town with everything you could want (restaurants, a good grocery store, two hardware stores and close enough to many major destinations making it a great "base Camp" for easy day trips to many of the U.P's must see destinations as well as northern lower MI destinations - Petoskey & Harbor Springs are only 40 minutes away, Cross Village (the famous Legs Inn Polish Restaurant) is only 35 minutes!

We are located right on a beautiful, sugar sandy beach with a fantastic view of Mackinac Island. The sunrises are magical as are the evening hues and the hypnotic sound of the waves meeting the beach. Strolling up and down the beach for tumbled beach glass is incredibly relaxing and fun! We call it ITS A BREEZE because there's usually a nice breeze at the property. It's a quiet area and the perfect spot to kick back, play on the beach or in the shallow crystal clear water! Come and Enjoy!
