Pet Friendly- Spacious 2BR/2BA, ONE BLOCK TO GULF 'The Island Sun'

Across from public beach access, approx 100 yard walk. Book your vacation rental now! Beautiful spacious beach house with 2 bedrooms furnished with king size beds in each bedroom, one bonus room with a twin bunk bed, ample closet space, 2 full baths. Maximum 5 people. Completely furnished. Large flat screen HD television in living room plus TV's in all bedrooms. Beach access across the street.(approx 1 block walk to the beach). All the amenities of staying at your own home versus being in a condo or high rise building. We don't supply beach chairs, umbrella's or towel's.
1 small pet allowed for a fee of $75.00; an additional pet may be negotiated. 1 Crate is supplied with the home in case you need to crate your pet while you are out.
Property is monitored.
Located a few blocks east of Hwy 59 and the beach road. Walking distance to Sea-N-Suds, Desoto's Restaurant, Pink Pony, the Hang Out, Mikee's Seafood, Shrimp Basket and other shops including a Dollar General. You can also walk to the Shrimp Festival held every year at Hwy 59 & the Beach Rd. Watch the fireworks from the porch for the 4th of July. 10 minute ride to the famous 'Wharf' in Orange Beach, with live entertainment, great restaurants, and a movie theater! 15 minutes to the Foley Outlet Mall. The Gulf State Park with bike trails and the longest fishing pier on the Gulf Coast (1500 feet) is less than a mile away.

Fully equipped eat in kitchen, includes all appliances, inside laundry. Towels & linens are supplied. Mr. Coffee coffee pot. Charcoal grill downstairs. Snow birds welcome! Dish satellite, local telephone service, WiFi internet and full home air purification system. Bring extra paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, laundry detergent, dish soap, soap, charcoal, lighter fluid, etc. We do not supply unlimited amounts of products. No beach chairs or beach towels are supplied.

The communication was excellent. VERY nice owner! Great location, weather was not good, but still able to get to everything easily! House very clean and worked out great for the 2 of us and our little pup!

Lots of places close to walk and drive to. House was pleasant to just sit around and do nothing. Shrimp festival was going on so streets were blocked and crowded. Only thing I would suggest is to do some maintenance to the front door so you don't have gaps to let in drafts and insects. Otherwise we had a good time and would go there again.

Quick beach get away

This property is just a short walk to the beach and many restaurants and still the area is very quiet. The property manager was quick to respond to a few questions we had, check-in was a breeze. We will definitely stay here again.

Great house close walk to the beach . Had one issue that was quickly fixed by the property management. I liked the outside shower to get sand off before going inside . The only thing I would fix/say the pillows in the house was to flat for my liking but that’s a personal preference. So I would bring your own if you like a thick or firm pillow . I would stay here again for sure .

The residence was exceptional, located just one block from the golf of Mexico or whatever name you would like to change it to . It is in close proximity to a wide variety of dining options. The host was exceptionally easy to communicate with.

Perfect location

We enjoyed how the beach access was so close as well as walking distance to shopping & restaurants. The house was exactly as listed. We would definitely rent this property again

Home away from home

The house is great and cozy. when we walked in it felt like home away from home. It is conveniently located.The beach is close and restaurants are walking distance. The house was clean and has cable for night time relaxation. I would definitely recommend this home and we will definitely stay there in the future.

Sunny Place to Stay

My wife and I came to Gulf Shores to visit her sister. Two other sisters stayed with us at the house (4 adults total). The house was at a great and convenient location to beach access, on a nice and quiet street, and very well kept.The management contacts were very responsive and helpful during the entire experience. The house was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking for all guests.

Had A Great Time

My family had a great time here. The beach entrance was a really quick walk across the street. The house was fine for us, nothing fancy. My only complaint was the yard. We brought our two small dogs and every time we took them out they got prickly burrs and a some small green sticky plant stuck in their fur.

Spring break trip 2025

Property was exactly as described. It had plenty of space, the beds had super soft sheets and one of the most comfortable mattresses I’ve seen in a rental in awhile. Not gonna lie it was the little touches that make me want to rent this unit every time such as spices in the kitchen, aluminum foil and quart sized storage baggies, more than one dern dishwasher pod, charcoal and lighter fluid, cleaning stuff, and so many other little things you hate to not have in a pinch at the beach. Communication was on point and it was clean! Thanks for a wonderful trip!

We had a great time. Even with the once in a lifetime snow in Gulf Shores. The property was just as advertised. Clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Communication with the manager was excellent. If I had to nitpick something, it would be the wifi. It's pretty slow. But we dealt with it. Other than that we oved the place.

Perfect Location!!!

Cottage was perfect size to spread out and loved having coffee on the front deck. The location was perfect for walking to the beach and stores.

A walk to the beach

We had a nice visit. We went to Gulf Shores for a Nationals softball tournament. It was a bit to travel to the Foley sports complex, but perfect to walk to the beach. The house was just the right size for our family and had a full kitchen.

Overall, the house was everything we needed for the week we were there. Close enough to walk to the beach, close to stores and restaurants, but far enough off of the main streets to be peaceful.

Great House & Great Location

Loved the house, was very clean, bedrooms were big, beds were soft. Location was amazing! Very short and easy walk to the beach. Loved the outdoor shower, and lower faucet perfect for rinsing your whole body and legs/feet before going inside. They even had a separate hose to rinse off beach supplies like chairs etc. Would definitely stay here again!

My family and I enjoy going to Gulf Shores; I found and bought this special spacious home. We love relaxing on the beach and getting away from it all! Although I come from one of the best restaurant cities in the US I look forward to the excellent food (especially seafood) in the area. Great food, fishing, golfing, biking and shopping all within a few hundred feet of the Gulf and its activities. Prefer weekly rentals for June & July. Please note that the manager asks that that the initial guest inquiry contain the actual number of guests to be in the home.

This location is excellent and convenient near famous Desotos Restaurant, Oyster House, The Hang Out, Bahama Bob etc. Beach access across the street. The East beach continues to Gulf State Park beach and the fishing pier. Large bedrooms with King Size beds, spacious living areas. Near Hwy. 59 & the 'T', (the beach road). Prefer weekly rentals for June & July.
