A beautiful 1-bedroom Buck Island view villa with private pool. (New no additional fees rate. Cleaning and booking fees included).

Relax in absolute privacy on the pool deck while being one of only six Villa Madeleine villas to face beautiful Buck Island! Sweet dreams await you in the four-poster king sized master suite, complete with French doors that open to the pool deck and allow for the ocean breezes to keep you cool. The shower is a fully stocked oversized marble shower with room for two. A fully equipped kitchen, including a Keurig latte machine, will make you feel right at home. Splash of Lime includes many conveniences such as a smart TV, wifi, air conditioning, washer/dryer, and much more. Extra guests are no problem, as the couch features a pull-out bed. Villa Madeleine is a gated community on St. Croix’s relaxing East End, where you will enjoy the privacy, amazing views, tennis court, and close proximity to the Reef Golf Course, Duggan’s Reef restaurant, Divi Casino and Resort, Grapetree beach to the south and Reef Beach to the north. All these amenities are within walking distance, but do require traversing a steep hill, so driving is typically preferred. Don't see the dates you are looking for? We loved the layout, the view, and the location. Everything we needed was provided including many bath and beach towels and a fully stocked kitchen. The A/C worked beautifully and the villa was really clean. We recommend highly and can’t wait to return.

This is the third or fourth (?) time we've stayed here. The views to the north (Buck Isl.) can't be beat. Never needed AC because of breezes at the top of the hill. Pool and deck area are lovely. Bed is comfortable and it's nice to look out at night and see the cute pair of floating pool balls that are lighted and change colors all night. Like little pets! Everything in good working order. We especially appreciate that the owners always seem to be tweaking amenities (really nice beach towels this year, and beach chairs fairly new and in great condition - something that isn't always true where rust and sea air really take their toll). Love the big shower and good water pressure, small efficient kitchen and washer/dryer crucial to a 2-week stay.

We love the Villa Madeline area of St Croix and this villa is beautifully decorated. Unfortunately we had some complications with water/power but Tom & Hillary were responsive and made it right for us!

The property was very clean and well equipped. The neighborhood was quiet and located in a great spot. The property manager Kat was awesome and Tom and Hillery were great at providing guidance before our trip.

Back again!

Tom and Hillery are great hosts, very responsive. Perfect unit for a couple’s getaway. Stayed 1 week a year ago. Planned a trip back to the island and didn’t even look for another place, just booked Splash of Lime, but for 2 weeks this year.

Perfect location on ST.Croix

Our stay here was amazing! Hilary was great, she was communicative and answered our questions quickly. The place is so comfortable and relaxing that it makes you not want to leave. Having your own pool is a huge bonus and it was so nice to swim when wanting to. Location is perfect! About 16 mins to the boardwalk in Christiansted, stores and restaurants. Savant was our favorite restaurant to eat at, make a reservation as they fill up fast! This was our first time on St.Croix and we will definitely be back and staying at the Splash of Lime!

My favorite St Croix Home

We walked in to a beautifully furnished, clean sizable one bedroom home. There were things in the home that I didn’t think of wanting, but there they were! Nice large shower, comfortable bed….and a much bigger than I expected pool. All ours and we floated in the pool daily. View was lovely!! We have been coming to St Croix at least yearly for about 15 years and we found a reasonably priced, perfect villa to spend our St Croix time. Thank you Hillery and Tom….perfect stay!!

Extraordinary

Just a breathtaking property, beautifully appointed and location phenomenal!! Owners were a breeze to communicate with!! Lovely, lovely. Eat at Blue Water Terrace, best lobster around and its not mentioned anywhere!! Get a private boat charter with Caribbean Sea Adventures, worth the money. Thank you Tom and Hillery for an amazing vacation. ❤️💕

Adorable villa with an amazing view!!!

This was our first time in St Croix and it's always scary when you aren't sure you made the right decision on a villa and the location. Well we hit the jackpot with Splash of Lime!! The villa itself is perfect for a couple with lots of room, a private pool and a fabulous view! It's obvious that the owner has spent time at the villa to ensure that renters have everything needed to have a wonderful vacation. We have stayed in several rentals over the years and this is by far the most complete package to have fun and have all the features of home. The owners have thought of everything including supplies for the beach (chairs, umbrella, beach wagon and towels). Let's not forget the best feature which is the view and you will never get sick of it! We had a great time and loved the quiet location with great restaurants nearby and don't hesitate to stay here!

Peaceful retreat high on the hill

We loved Splash of Lime. It’s one of the rare 1-bedroom units at Villa Madeleine, and the view to the north side is just gorgeous. Kitchen is teeny tiny (as are all VM units) but perfect for our needs, which mostly involved tea, coffee, breakfast, and one night in eating a simple dinner of omelette and salads. The unit is bright and airy - we never used AC - and the poolside deck and French doors make it feel like you’re on your own little private island. Decor is Caribbean - bright and sunny, but not at all cheesy. Very comfy beds and linens, and nice big marble shower. The small sofa in the living room has seen better days and perhaps should be replaced. All communications with owners were easy without any misunderstanding, and they are very responsive. We would visit again!

LOVE THIS VILLA!!!

This was our 4th time staying at Villa Madeline, but 1st time staying at Splash of Lime and all I can say is that we had a nearly perfect vacation!! The community itself is our favorite on the island. The privacy and setup of the villas is amazing but anytime you get a chance to stay on the top row you take it! The views from Splash of Lime (SoL) are some of the best on the island! The pool, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom are all so nice and makes you feel like you're at home but you're in the Caribbean on the best island!! My wife made a comment while we were staying at SoL along the lines of "they (the owners, Tom and Hillery) thought of everything!!" and indeed they did! The kitchen is fully stocked. Loved the Keurig, so much that I bought the same exact one a few days ago. Bathroom was loaded with whatever you might need. Loved the beach chairs and pool floats. They even had room darken shades in the bedroom, that was awesome!! Only tiny drawback was the TV since we could never get the cable to work but that is such a non-issue, I hate even mentioning it. We brought our own cable box so did not affect us. We very much look forward to staying here again next year!! PS. Millie is so awesome, she was great to work with!!

A Splash of Lime in the Summer!

My wife and I had a great time this summer in St Croix. There were lots of nice places to each and beaches to enjoy the sunshine. The home was the icing on the cake! Awesome views and the private pool was perfect. Absolutely nothing bad to say about the house. I only wish St Croix had Uber services! :-)

Tom and Hillery are both Real Estate professionals with a combined 45 years of Real Estate experience, mostly in commercial real estate development and management. We discovered St Croix almost by accident. With Covid running rampant in 2020, and international travel not an option for us, we ventured to St Croix to avoid international travel restrictions. We immediately fell in love with the island. Having the ability to choose from several breathtaking beaches frequently by ourselves, was all we needed to know this was the place for us. We purchased Mojito Hill in May of 2021. Just prior to closing Mojito Hill, Splash of Lime became available. We made an offer within an hour of it hitting the market, and now have two amazing St Croix Villas. In September of 2021, we decided and add a more mountainy property to our offering, and we selected Blue Ridge for its beautiful mountain scenery, rivers, great downtown restaurants and dozens of nearby local wineries. Our favorite thing to do in St Croix is to take a backpack cooler (provided), drive to the eastern most beach in the US, take a 15 minute hike down to Isaac's Bay, enjoy a few Local Vodka Seltzers (frequently on an empty beach), take a dip in the ocean, then return to the Villa and sit by the private pool and watch the sun go behind the mountains.

St Croix is one of the best kept secrets in the Caribbean. Here you won't find a shoreline with high rise condos, mega resorts and over crowded beaches. Instead you can find the island in its natural beauty. With Splash of Lime and Mojito Hill located in the east end, you will find number of spectacular beaches in their natural state. With a little searching you can usually find one where you can have the beach to yourself. The snorkeling the grotto at buck Island is among the best in the world. You can't miss Ziggy's while visiting. Situated off the main highway and along the side a gas station, first impressions can be a little misleading. Your expectations will be blown away with beautiful ocean views, cosmopolitan menu that would rival any big city and a level of services that makes you feel like family.
