The recently refinished swimming pool and wrap-around covered patio provide wonderful outdoor perches for relaxing and enjoying those views, including amazing sunsets and the sounds of the surf hitting the shore below.

Guests regularly return to Cane Bay Cottage due to the great experience, location, and amenities. The landscaped property is surrounded by trees and is accessible only through secured electric gates, providing natural surroundings and privacy for you and your guests. Conveniently located close to Cane Bay Beach along the north shore of St. Croix, both Christiansted and Frederiksted are within easy reach. This home is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay, and is perfectly suited for a couple’s retreat, a family vacation, or a trip with friends.

A concierge service is included in your rental – this is particularly helpful for first-time visitors to St. Croix. A staff concierge will contact you before your trip to introduce themselves and answer any questions you may have. Upon your arrival, they will meet you at the airport and guide you to Cane Bay Cottage, then show you around the property and ensure you have everything you need for a great vacation. The concierges have great suggestions for activities and can even help you make reservations.

You will be staying about a quarter-mile from Cane Bay, with one of the most notable beaches on the island due to its shady and sandy shoreline, calm waters and walk-out dive access to the famous Cane Bay Wall. Featuring three casual waterfront restaurants, a romantic beachside bistro, and the regular parking spot for an island-favorite breakfast food truck, you never have to go far for good eats and drinks! Diving and snorkeling enthusiasts can visit Sweet Bottom Dive Center to rent gear, arrange a dive tour, walk across the beach, and within minutes start exploring the shallows or the Cane Bay Wall. Or, when you would rather just relax, take the house’s beach chairs down the hill, grab a cold drink from a nearby restaurant, and see if you can spot sea turtles swimming just offshore!

After a day of beach fun or other island exploration, return to the house and its magnificent vistas. Enjoy the spectacular views of Cane Bay while taking a cooling dip in the pool, from a sunny chaise lounge, or in a shady spot on the 1000 square feet of tiled patio space. Finish your day with an unbelievable sunset. For an added touch, connect via Bluetooth to the stereo system and listen poolside to your favorite music through the house-wide speaker system.

In the master bedroom, you will wake up to the stunning views after a restful night on a king-size bed complete with a new, top-of-line memory foam mattress. The master also includes a flat screen HDTV and its own updated private bathroom. Each of the other two bedrooms have queen beds; they share a second updated bathroom featuring a stone tile shower and a granite countertop vanity. All the bedrooms have their own ultra-quiet split A/C units for a cool, comfortable night’s sleep, while the living room has an A/C unit of its own. Ceiling fans feature in every room of the house as well as the patio to keep the cooling breezes flowing, and Travertine tile flooring features throughout.

The fully equipped kitchen features a gas range, stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. If you prefer to cook outside, there is a gas grill in the pool area. There are both an indoor and a covered outdoor dining area, each with seating for six. The comfortable living room includes a flat screen HDTV while the outdoor covered gallery includes a sitting area with a sofa and two swivel rockers. A washer and dryer are also available for your use. Cable TV and Wi-Fi high-speed internet service are all included – though any plans to work may be at risk of distraction from the views!

This home is respectful of the nature around it. The lush tropical landscaping merges with the surrounding tropical forest, with flowers and native fruit trees that attract hummingbirds, the occasional gecko, and more. To complement this fantastic setting, the house itself is environmentally friendly. Rainwater is collected into cisterns and then passed through a four-step purification system to provide high-quality, great-tasting water. Solar panels and Tesla battery walls satisfy the home’s electricity needs. Everything about the house fits in with the paradise surrounding it.
