Members of my family and I rented both units of this home for a family reunion. It worked out great! The house was clean. The backyard had a nice place to hang out, which we did a few different evenings. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet, the house is close to the lake. Would definitely rent again.

Was charged for my pet after I already checked in, which was not cool because there was no spot to check if I had a pet...only how many people. I assumed pets were already included since I was requesting places that except pets. The house was very comfortable and clean.

Thank you for noting the house was comfortable and clean. This was a booking error. The pet fee appears in the Vrbo system when a guest selects they are traveling with a pet during booking. Your reservation was completed without a pet indicated, so the fee was not included. Once we learned a pet was present after check-in, we charged only the standard pet fee — nothing extra. A few days before arrival you asked when payment was due, even though payment is completed at booking. This, along with the missed pet selection, shows the booking steps were not fully understood. Because the pet was not reserved in advance, we had to adjust at the last minute. We prepare the property for pet reservations and made sure Immedia that everything was ready once we were informed. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay at our home in Racine.

Plenty of space for two people and a small dog! The outdoor spaces were a lovely bonus. The house is only a couple of blocks from Lake Michigan and a lakeside trail leading all the way into town. Best part of town to stay in. Only note, I didn’t expect the house to be multi-level with a second unit above the one we stayed in. Not an issue for me, but my dog is easily spooked and the sounds of people above wasn’t ideal for her. Did not detract from the loveliness of the apartment and the amenities. 5 stars, would stay here again!

Wonderful location in a quiet neighborhood with everything that you might think of ready and waiting for you. I can't state enough how much we enjoyed our time there. Easy access to the top and the owners are very responsive if you have a question. I hope to stay there when we visit the area again.

Perfect spot for a visit to see friends

This property was a perfect setting for a visit to see friends. The location was great and the host made my stay very pleasant by answering my questions. I would recommend stying here as it is very charming and perfect for short or longer stays.

A great stay in Racine

We stayed at Anne’s home for a short weekend and truly appreciated her flexibility and quick responses! She went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home and had everything we needed. The location was also perfect—close to the places we wanted to go. Thank you, Anne, for such a peaceful and enjoyable stay! I will keep this place on list to stay when I return to Racine.

This place is a gem!!

This was my family's first visit to Racine and we found this gem of a stay. Great communication from the host. The place was perfect, clean, refreshing and the most amazing access to the lake. We will definitely be back to Racine and we found our place to stay for the next visit!

Quaint and quiet by the lake

Very comfortable place to stay close to downtown Racine with lots of clubs and also pretty close to Milwaukee. Down the street within walking distance is a zoo and the beach which stretches on for a great distance up and down the shore line. Great place and very comfortable and relaxing!

Quiet and comfortable

Our family loved the stay here! With lots of charm and plenty of space, we felt at home right away, and our kids kept asking to go back to the "new house" so they could play on the bunk beds and flop around on the big sofa in the living room. The location is perfect, too, with quick access to the beach, downtown Racine, grocery stores, and plenty of beautiful neighborhood streets for a walk.

Great location, well appointed!

We had an amazing stay at this property! It’s a great location, a block off of Lake Michigan and well appointed. Don’t stress if you forgot something, chances are it’s available at this property! The hosts were very communicative and so kind. We have nothing but good things to say.

An truly incredible place to get away! A++ property

We decided to take an impromptu trip and stumbled upon this listing in Racine. It was a town that we hadn’t heard of, but after a quick google search, decided to give it a go. We’re so glad we did!!! First off, the property was absolutely lovely and the host went truly above and beyond with exceptional touches!! The close proximity to many attractions was what drew us to this place and it was so wonderful being able to walk a couple of blocks to the beautiful shoreline (with a European feel). We walked to an outdoor amphitheater and enjoyed a lovely concert, as well as taking our daughter to the Racine zoo, which we actually preferred over the Milwaukee zoo. The city is nicely situated between Milwaukee and Kenosha. We even drove 45 minutes down to Illinois Beach State Park and enjoyed some great exploring. As for the property itself, it was immaculate and charming as can be! The bedrooms were spacious with many available sleeping arrangements. The living area was cozy and homey, which made for a great place for our family to come back to and watch a movie. The bathroom was one of the nicest I’ve seen through a rental marketplace. The host was incredibly communicative and SO helpful throughout our week stay! She recommended many fun local activities, excellent restaurants, etc.! We felt very at home and welcomed. I can’t say enough complimentary things about this lovely rental and the city of Racine. Thank you, we hope to come back soon!!!
