Sand Castle Apartments offers a relaxed beach getaway steps from the sand at beautiful Crescent Beach. This second-floor, two-bedroom apartment sleeps up to six guests and is ideal for families, couples, and travelers with pets.

The apartment includes two queen bedrooms and a double futon in the living room. Inside, you’ll find central air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, standard drip coffee maker, toaster, cookware, dishes, and utensils.

The bathroom includes a bathtub or shower, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Two beach chairs are also provided for your time by the ocean.

Guests may enjoy the property’s shared outdoor seating areas, including a second-floor patio and a wooden seating area facing the ocean. This apartment does not include a private balcony. Outdoor spaces are shared with guests staying in the other units.

A shared coin-operated laundry room is available on the first floor. The washer and dryer are not located inside the apartment.

Sand Castle Apartments is an intimate, multi-unit oceanfront property located beside Crescent Beach’s public access area. This provides exceptionally convenient access to the beach, although the surrounding area may be active during popular beach hours. Parking is available onsite for one vehicle.

Historic downtown St. Augustine, restaurants, shops, and local attractions are approximately 20–25 minutes away by car.

This was a really fun and convenient rental for our family beach vacation. The view was great from 3 rooms of the apartment and the patio was relaxing with a great view and breeze. The host was amazing to us and wanted to make sure everything was perfect!

Angela was very communicative and let us check in early without any issues. The view, especially from the veranda, was really nice. We got lucky and had the whole top floor to ourselves the entire week, and sitting outside in the morning watching the sunrise over the ocean was amazing. The apartment was maybe small depending on how many people you have staying, but exactly as described and the price made it totally worth it. only possible complaint I could have is the parking lot was a little sketchy if it was full, trying to back out, but it was not really an issue and I'm not sure how they could really set it up any different. All in all, it was an ideal location and price. Would definitely return

This was a lovely space and the bed was very comfortable. We had everything we needed and you could see the ocean from our room. It was an excellent space for the cost. We definitely plan to return.

The apartment has very clean and cozy. It was perfect for my little family. The host allowed us to check in early due to us arriving early. That was a relief.

Crescent beach fun

Loved being steps from the beach and the view from the outdoor area. Very pet friendly. The only suggestion for improvement would be a better kitchen setup and a different couch

Amazing location with wonderful (shared) veranda

Lovely and clean. My only complaint was that the kitchen was lacking a few things, and it would have been nice to have some type of rug. For the price, it was excellent.

Great location & view

We really enjoyed our time here at Crescent beach. This unit is small but worked for the 4 of us with the sofa futon, although would be more comfortable with just 3 people. It had everything we needed & had a quick easy access to the beach. Nice short drive to the inlet which was perfect to take the dogs to & convenient to lots of places. The only suggestion is that the railing next to the stairs be fixed since it was loose.

Nice place to stay on the beach

Our trip was very nice, we especially enjoyed being right on the beach. The apartment was very clean and had plenty of space for the three of us. It was on the second floor so if you have trouble climbing stairs, I would keep that in mind. Angela happened to be there one day that we were there, and she was very nice, easy to talk to. Our communication thru the process was great. Overall a nice place to stay.

Very clean, check in was easy. Right on the beach. Only thing that we noticed was the parking may be tight with a larger vehicle but as long as everyone parks where they're supposed to it shouldn't be a problem. Other than that which wasn't an issue for us everything was great.

Very clean & well equiped

The unit was extremely clean and very well equiped with essentials. The location is terrific, close to a very good little Pizza place named Tony's pizza....And of course, right on the beach! Interior of the condo has been fully updated & everything felt fresh and clean. We would definitely stay here again & highly recommend.

The unit was more than adequately stocked with the necessities of living! We were impressed and happy! It was pretty antiquated as far as styling went. It also showed signs of wear and tear. From the stairs and hand rails up to the interior this unit showed aging. Furniture was in need of replacement, although it was functional. Upon entering the unit it was noted (and the host was notified) that the closet door was broken free of its mounting. We discovered it when our adventurous 3 year old almost brought it down on her head. Luckily I was there to catch it. Cracks in the living room wall. Also saw a couple of pretty good palmetto bugs, so you can be sure there are others hiding out OR they are accessing the unit elsewhere. I have to compliment the host as she immediately responded when the internet went out and we managed to collaboratively fix it before our little one got out of the bath. Great Save! The views were awesome and the shared back porch was perfect for us. All in all a great vacation and location! The addition of a good mat at the entrance door would reduce the amount of sand being tracked in. Probably would not eliminate the daily cleaning that was done, but certainly would reduce the amount of sand inside the unit!

The listing leaves out Many key details. The photos make it seem as though there's a balcony. There is Not. There's the main porch that it fails to mention is a shared porch and The photos are conveniently taken so that you only see the one door. The balcony is thought I was getting with sliding glass doors belonged to the neighbor! Which really didn't matter since the balcony is unusable and the doors are screwed shut and so covered in salt you can barely see out of them. Luckily my neighbors were kool, however that's luck of the draw. It cities have been KAREN! It's worded like there's Washer and dryer in house, there's Not. There is a coin washer and dryer on site in a Lil room on the first floor. We didn't bother to try it out. It also failed to mention that it literally at the main crescent beach park and vehicle entrance, so it's crazy busy. That's a good boardwalk to the beach, but go early or all the beach access people will fill it up and you'll be dragging your stuff down the beach for a spot. Hopefully this helps so you're not blindsided like my neighbor and I both were!

The listing also clearly states that the porch is shared and that the laundry is located on-site on the first floor. Quiet Beach

We stayed for a long weekend and really appreciated the quiet -dog friendly- beach for walking in the morning and evening. There were also beach views from the living room at the right angle. The location was clean and had pretty much everything we needed (We had to buy a coffee maker- but we left it for the next visitor). Parking was easy, but you do need a car because there are not sidewalks and there’s not much right there except a gas station and beach restaurant with limited fresh options. We were a bit surprised that the porch shown in the photos is shared with another unit, but the other visitors were respectful of taking turns using the space. Overall, a quiet and fairly affordable beach stay!

The location was great. The property says that 6 to 8 people could stay in the apartment but that is not true. Only 5 could actually stay. We messaged the host multiple times about the AC not working in a couple rooms and got no response. The balcony/sitting area was unsafe. The parking area is also a disaster. So pay a cleaning fee but the property isn’t clean at all. There is a washer and dryer on the property but is downstairs. You have to do your laundry outside and you have to pay for it also. Very Disappointing.

Our week at Sand Castle Apts

Property was right on the beach with beautiful views. After arriving we found out that there was major construction going on in an adjoinning apartment. There was alot of noise and workers present. We felt that we should have been told in advance about the construction and given the opportunity to reschedule or change the dates. After talking to the host we reached a comprise. The last 3 days we truly enjoyed our stay. Would stay again without the construction.

Nice visit

Very clean and well decorated. Being almost 70 the stairs were difficult-very steep and no railings. Enjoyed the outside patio and breezes. Needs to specify the actual apartment is not directly oceanfront
