Beach just around the corner

Wonderfully located, cozy apartment, exactly as advertised. Big plus, the hosts were very accommodating to slight changes and always answered timely and very friendly. The only minor minus would be that a few small items were missing (salt and pepper, cleaning items and such) and had to be bought. But overall a definite recommendation.

Unit was not very nicely appointed. Furniture was basically beat up. Bedroom carpet was filthy!

Unit was not well-maintained and shabby looking. Somethings were just completely falling apart. I’ve never seen a dirtier bedroom carpet. 🤮. Futon was pretty nasty too. All the additional fees associated with renting this unit were astronomical ! I will hopefully never use Vrbo again due to the extensive and nonsensical fees tacked on. Talk about price-gauging 🤬!!!

Carpets filthy, stains everywhere. Fridge stained, door hard to close. Couches disgusting. Beds extremely uncomfortable.

Loved it!

This is a beautiful property located in a quiet/beautiful area of Florida. All was "as advertised." Very clean! The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and the linens/towels were plentiful. Refrigerator was OK but was not operating at 100%. Would rent again :)

Short family trip

We selected the location based upon ocean front and pet friendly. While construction was going on while there that was not expected the management company was so helpful and so friendly. We really enjoyed our stay!

NEVER AGAIN...KEEP LOOKING!

NOT AS IT SEEMS! I have never written a review on a condo I have rented, but I could not let this go unsaid. Maybe it will help another family avoid the bad experience my family had. We checked in with no problem. When we arrived at the condo, the cleanliness was unacceptable. I thought with COVID-19 problems, everything would be spotless. There was pet hair on the couch and futon, sand on the bed, the towel rod in the bathroom was loose, the carpet and refrigerator are old and nasty. I took sheets and threw them over the futon and couch before we would even sit on them. I called and reported what I saw. They came when we were out and only changed the sheets. The next morning, as we started to use the kitchen, we found dried food on utensils. I went to open the front door and doorknob falls completely off in my hand. Again, I called and reported. The second night the air conditioner stopped working. We had an uncomfortable night. So, I called AGAIN (third time having to call for things that are wrong). After every stay, I was told there is supposed to be a cleaning and maintenance inspection. It is obvious these did not take place. Every day we were there, I was on the phone dealing with issues. This is no vacation. I even emailed the owner. I still have not gotten a response. I took pictures. I wish I could have included them in this review. This was no vacation. I left angry thinking about the money I just wasted staying here.

Condo is awesome, but...

The location, with it's view of the ocean, is the primary reason I chose this rental, and it was everything I hoped for. The condo itself exceeded my expectations. I could, and did, adjust the firmness of my bed. The decor offers one happy note of appreciation for details after another. Everything we needed was there. In contrast, I was disappointed by the complexity and my confusion that was generated by property management's system. This could be a case of an excellent concept poorly executed. Some people were great. But oh, my. I would consider renting this unit again, but only because I am much better educated about what to do when there are problems, from not being to get into the unit to having to construct a pile of paper bags in front of a window to ensure privacy because the blinds had fallen before we got there.

Quaint, relaxing and perfect location

PERFECT!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The condo itself was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. My favorite part was going out on the patio in the morning to enjoy the view of the ocean with a cup of coffee (I miss it already!). The community is well-maintained and quiet at night. The security guard even makes sure the pool is cleared out by 10:00pm. The beach could not be more beautiful and I was thrilled to discover that our dog was even allowed to join us out there! I really hope we can go back next summer. :)

Ok, but didn't meet expectations!

The condo was beautifully decorated! We loved that the condo was furnished with linens, towels, beach items and a stocked kitchen with dishes and pans. We did have a few issues. The screen door leading out to the lanai was broken and became stuck or wouldn't open. The carpet in both bedrooms was extremely soiled. There were dead ants in the refrigerator that I cleaned out. My wife ended up in the E.R. one morning and we couldn't get back into the condo for several hours because they were painting the walkways and staircases. That was extremely frustrating. We aren't sure if we would stay there again.

Great views

We enjoyed our stay; however, very disappointed that we had been informed elevator would be repaired/.replaced and completed before our arrival; walking up and down to the third floor with a pet was inconvenient. Especially for my husband with health issues; however, we still enjoyed the view and the grounds. We like staying at Ocean Village. This was our second visit.

We had a wonderful time.

The condo was very nice and comfortable. That you for keeping the place so clean and stocked. The only things we missed were a dish washing cloth and some pot holders.
