Charming home

Stayed here for my friends wedding weekend. The place was homey, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the private porch and it is larger than it appears the in the photo. The park nearby is lovely as well.

Great apartment in quiet location

This apartment was perfect for our group of 5 adults, we were looking for something in a quiet area, yet close enough to walk to downtown. The place was clean and well stocked with the basics we needed for the weekend, as well as having some of the most comfortable beds we've come across in rental units. The instructions were clear and the hosts were easy to communicate with and super helpful. One thing to be aware of is that there are a lot of stairs, you enter the building via a 2-story staircase, and inside there is a very tight spiral staircase to get to the 2nd floor of the apartment (you can also access the 2nd floor from the outside hallway, avoiding the spiral staircase.) Just something to be aware of if you have small children or have mobility concerns.

Property was Super—-Neighborhood is second to none.Racecourse is 9 minute walk and downtown attractions,restaurants and shopping is all within a 12-15 minute walk.

Condo in Saratoga Springs

was a great condo ! The location was perfect - can walk to the track and into town. The porch was my favorite ! All the neighbors were great! Condo was clean and well appointed. The owners were fabulous and very communicative. Highly recommend!

Good Location

The condo was well located within the area of Sarasota we planned to visit. It was easy to get into, although there were a total of 6 keys - 3 to get into the condo and 3 to access the rest of the building. We were concerned they did not provide a new sponge for the kitchen (it was old and used) and the scrub brush was very dirty. We could not tell if the dishes had gone through the dishwasher so we washed everything prior to use. The pots and pans could stand to be replaced as they are very used and the teflon is scratched through to the aluminum base. A good inventory of kitchen utensils is needed. We planned to cook several meals at the condo but opted to go out once we evaluated the kitchen cleanliness. There were no washcloths in the bathroom and the towels were hung up on the back of the door, so we were not sure if they were clean - we opted to use the towels we brought with us to be on the safe side. There was an old used bar of soap in the shower along with scattered bottles of shampoo, leading us to believe the shower had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. The condo itself is pretty nice but if you plan to spend any time just hanging out, the couch is not very comfortable. Many of the lamps were pretty wonky and very fragile, as well. We did bring our own coffee maker just because we are not fond of the Kureig pods. While we enjoyed our stay, and the communication with the owners was good, it will not be our first choice when we return for race season.

Beautiful

This is a perfect location. We were able to walk everywhere. Home was very clean. Bring extra toilet paper. We didn't realize there weren't any extra rolls and had to make an emergency run to the store. That was the only issue we had. Everything else was perfect. We would stay there again. 5 out of 5 stars.

Small Family Reunion

Overall it was a great stay! However, access to second floor unit was difficult for 4 seniors lugging suitcases up the fire escape & spiral stairs. Recommendations would be to make the TV more user friendly for watching something other than news. Also, bigger coffee cups would have been appreciated, to enjoy the wonderful coffee provided!

Union Ave gem

Nice condo unit in a classic Union Ave mansion. Perfect location. Walk into town or to the track in just a few minutes. Incredible front porch to enjoy. Designated parking space. Private outdoor rooftop deck off third bedroom. As described in the listing, there is a circular staircase and no elevator in the building, so this is not a good option for anyone with mobility issues. Cannot beat the location or front porch! Great communication with owner. Enjoyed our stay.

A wonderful, comfortable and charming place!

We (4 people in our 60's) recently had a 3 night stay in this property. Everything went like clockwork. The place was easy to find, easy entry, an easy walk to the park and the town center as well as an easy walk to the track. Everything was clean, inviting and comfortable. The owners thought of everything that we might need and even left us coffee etc. The beds were very comfortable and the rooftop deck was wonderful in the early morning and evening. We also spent time on the front porch - also a wonderful and relaxing place. We hope they have us back next year!

Saratoga get away

My family (2+2) and I loved this two level apartment. The layout was perfect. It was such a short walk to the track and town that we hardly used the car. It was also close to I-87, which made our day trip to Lake George extremely convienant.

Wonderful place!

Beautiful space in a Victorian and we were able to walk to downtown and the racetrack. It is in the center of both and a very great location! I recommend it highly!

Fantastic location, breathtaking porch and excellent hosts!

If you love Saratoga, this location cannot be beat. It is a ten minute walk to the track and downtown. The front porch is spectacular to hang out on after a day at the races. The hosts were very easy to work with and responded to my inquires promptly. The stair situation was a little dicey for my 70+ yr old parents, but otherwise A++.

Cozy retreat on a frigid Saratoga weekend

The location, square footage, and amenities of this property are amazing. Fit well for a family with two teenagers. Not sure if we read closely enough but only negative might be the 2nd/3rd floor location with lots of stairs to climb. We had some check-in blips but owners were so communicative, helpful, and even reimbursed us some money for the trouble. I highly recommend this property and hope to have the chance to stay here again.
