Amazing cozy/romantic 5 Stars, newly renovated, tons of amenities…With private lake and Mountain View’s, two fire pits and Evening Firefly Shows. Pup SUPER FRIENDLY with SECURE PRIVATE Pup park CONNECTED TO CABIN! (2 max. Well behaved please.) WE ARE A NO SMOKING cabin and property. (Maximum two guests please.)
All yard and home bug products are human and pet safe. Plant based. NO CHEMICALS. Both treated prior to all stays.

Celebrating a special occasion? WE HAVE YOU COVERED! EXTENDED guest friendly check in and check out times! Noon/2:00 p.m. Very flexible. Is like an extra free day!

WE ARE: Charming cozy cabin overlooking a beautiful private lake and mountains and nestled on a private78-acres. Two fire pits and cabin wood burning fireplace. This is the perfect getaway to recharge your batteries and soothe your soul. Our guests refer to us as, “A hidden gem."

The cabin includes one super comfy king bed, and a new cozy additional room with another super comfy brand new daybed, new renovated bathroom with a walk-in shower, fully equipped kitchen with cute table and eating area, washer and dryer, an amazing large screen porch overlooking the mountains and an 8 acre private lake, a new secured and connected to the cabin…spacious and fenced dog run equipped for both pups and relaxing humans. Please log in pets when registering. (All guests please: 21 years of age or older.) Super equipped kitchen with new quartzite counters, microwave, stove/oven, coffee maker with plenty of coffee, hot chocolate and creamer, refrigerator/freezer/ice, new utensils, new dishes, new glasses, pots & pans and a few spices. The cabin also includes a large Smart TV with cable, WIFI, ceiling fans, and washer and dryer. The screened porch that is overlooking the large lake and the mountains, also has comfy chairs and a small table, to sit and enjoy the sounds of nature or enjoy a delicious home cooked meal. Also on the screened porch is a suspended/hanging daybed/chair/swing fully equipped with bedding for anyone who wishes to sleep amongst the stars... and includes a mounted outdoor heater over the swing bed…powered by a remote, …and a new beautiful ceiling fan. There is a new large special fenced in secure pet area accessible directly from the screen porch with solar nighttime lighting, a dog bed, and sitting area for the pup's humans.
There is a new cozy park bench in the front yard overlooking the mountains and lake, a wood burning fire pit at lakeside, and a charcoal grill..bring you own choice of charcoal, propane firepit and grill (PROPANE PROVIDED) in the large pavilion for registered guests next to cabin... with seating, picnic tables, games, fans, Smart TV, and cool lighting. . This property is accessed through a gate to ensure your privacy. Parking is plentiful and be sure to bring your bikes!
We provide Kayaks, water safety vests, paddles to row, fishing poles and tackle box, and comfy chairs for beside the water. The 78 acres has stunning views for exploring and super fun additions. This vacation cabin is a maximum stay of 14 days. We also love to share our small outdoor museum sharing collectibles from this prior historic Llama farm.
Our guests suggested we mention: AMAZING FISHING!!!!! BASS, BRIM, CATFISH. LOTS!

This private cabin is located in Ellijay ga., just minutes from several attractions, including:

Downtown Historic Ellijay, Georgia
Waterfalls.
Red Apple Barn.

The lovely town of Blue Ridge is a short 1/2-hour scenic trip away. Amicalola Falls and the Appalachian Trail are just 45 minutes away. Chattanooga, TN is located 65 miles northwest of the cabin hideaway.

This was our second time staying here and it was even better than the first. Angela is the best and our little Walter got to have fun. The fishing was good and there are some beasts of catfish in the lake. We plan on staying here year after year.

It was such a great place so peaceful and everything about it was just excellent. The host was the best. She had all the answers to all your questions. She went above and beyond with the whole decorations and everything you needed from soup nuts was there.

The host Angela was amazing. She offered so many ideas of things to do. All her special touches in the house and sweet gifts for us and our pups were very appreciated. We enjoyed walking around the beautiful property. Our Golden swam in the pond and both of them loved sitting on the porch. I kayaked which was so peacefull. The weather was absolutely perfect. We also hiked at Fort Mountain, Tumbling Waters and Fall Branch Falls. All were gorgeous. A must see. We will definitely come back . Angela thank you for everything.

There are truly no words to describe how beautiful this property is—pictures simply do not do it justice. This trip was incredibly meaningful to us, and this place was exactly what we needed.Our host, Angela, was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Her thoughtfulness and kindness truly show what a special person she is. She thought of everything we could possibly need, communicated wonderfully, and made our trip even more meaningful.We brought our dog, Zoe, who is an anxious older dog, and she made herself right at home here. The doggie yard and toys were such a wonderful touch!I would absolutely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. This is by far the best place we have ever stayed. The host, Angela, is totally amazing and she really does care about her guests. The pup yard is such an added bonus while the screened in front porch was so relaxing during the thunderstorms. We have found our future vacation home for many years to come.

Just book and prepare for a majestic, peaceful, and totally soul-refreshing experience with everything you could possibly need and then so many little extras to make you feel like family. We had a wonderful stay at Mountain Soul. Weather was not great,but the property never let us down. The porch swing is such a relaxing place to watch it rain We also used the charcoal grill and the pavilion with the gas fire pit adding to the ambiance. Also, our dog Rosie had a great time going for walks and investigating. Angela was great with communication and left nothing to chance. We look forward to returning some day.

This property is a little bit of heaven. The property is lovely. You can walk,fish,float on the spring fed lake, or just relax on the porch. It is very clean and well appointed. The host is available at all times to answer any questions you may have. The little extras like the lovely anniversary gifts were a nice surprise. It is very dog friendly, from dog towels to biscuits to beds, to water bowls. An important extra is a secure side yard attached to the porch that is totally secure for dogs to run or potty. This is especially nice if your dogs are escape artists. You are completely alone and have total privacy here as well. We didn't see another person for a week. Elijay is a 15 minute drive and has everything you need. We hope to co.e back. It is a great place.

What an amazing little cabin. An absolute gem. From the start of the booking process to check in and check out, our experience could not have been better! A wonderful and relaxing weekend for us and our German Shepherd! Loved having coffee on the screened in porch and catching fish in the private pond. We have rented much pricier cabins in the North GA mountains and this one by far has been our favorite we have ever stayed at. It was hard to leave! Angela, the host, is hands down the best! Communication was excellent and so many thoughtful and special touches awaited us at the cabin. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us and our fur baby. We cannot wait to come back!

Absolutely amazing week here at Mountain Soul. Angela is an incredible hostess and the property itself is gorgeous. Extremely pet friendly and peaceful yet not far from hiking, biking, wineries, and other off property diversions. The fenced in dog area with motion and solar lights made our life so easy and all of the extra thoughtful touches made this the most relaxing trip w our pups ever. We will definitely be back.

The cabin was a beautiful, restful and peaceful place to spend a few days unwinding. Angela went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable! The communication was fantastic.

Beautiful Property

This property is absolutely beautiful and the care Angela took in making sure we were comfortable and welcome was beyond our expectations. Charlie had a great time and it’s a perfect place to bring your pet.

A beautiful and private location. Very pet-friendly. Angela and her team are exceptional and made sure we had everything we needed and all our questions were answered. Kitchen is fully stocked and the cabin is beautiful and very comfortable. We are already our next trip to Mountain Soul!

perfect getaway

Quiet, secluded, lakefront with swimming and kayaking, early checkin/late checkout times, clean and cozy. Great host always available via text.

Lake cabin

Some places are dog-friendly, but Mountain Soul goes way beyond! So many special touches including a fenced in dog park and lighted collars to spy your dog as the sun goes down! Not only did we get a welcome card and sunflower seeds to plant, but our dog received a card too! The host communicated from beginning to end with every detail needed and photo images to make sure we knew where everything was, and there was EVERYTHING we needed to feel comfortable, safe and warm. The bathroom is large and the kitchen well stocked, but the porch swing stole the show! The property is so peaceful and serene, and the natural beauty so inspirational that I was compelled to write a song about Mountain Soul during our stay :) Paws down! Mountain Soul in Dancing Dog Farms is the most pet and human friendly place we have stayed and we are grateful to our host for sharing her piece of heaven with us for a time!
