Great Lake Front House with Outstanding Views and Private Beach Area

Custom built 4,200 sqft home w/ 130 ft of lakefront shoreline. House has 5 bedrooms, 3-1/2 baths, a library w/ sleeper sofa, and is Handicap accessible with an elevator (available upon request). House sits 400 ft from the road for maximum privacy. Floor to ceiling windows with a large fireplace in the main living area and an outdoor gas grill. A 1,000 sqft deck and crow's nest provide an outstanding 180 degree view of the "big water" section of the lake.

There is a walking path down to the pebble beach, and a neighborhood boat launch is located 1.5 miles from the house. Two marinas are located within 10 miles of the house providing a full range of rental marine equipment, service, and fuel.

Beautiful place, even nicer than the pictures. Jim provided plenty of information on the check in and answered all questions we had. The walking path to the lake is short and simple to use. Beautiful view from the top deck (see picture).The driveway is steep from the road down to the house. This is common in houses built onto a hill with cliff or lakeside views.

Family trip

We had a great trip. The water was high so we weren’t able to use the beach behind the house. The driveway is super steep which made getting the boat up and down the driveway really difficult. The house was nice and we had plenty of room.

Amazing place to stay

This by far is the nicest VRBO we have stayed in. Had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, sheets were excellent. Kitchen is stocked with plenty of items. Everyone loved there time there.

Great view with plenty of room!

Huge house with a beautiful view! Our teenagers loved the top balcony and kayaks. We had plenty of room for us to gather and play games. I would recommend this home to everyone!

Family gathering on the lake!

Wonderful location, views, home. Big enough for lots of family and friends with room to spare. Loved the big room and kitchen. Thanks for a beautiful vacation.

Family Gathering Lakeside

Spectacular lakefront home with great kitchen and entertaining space inside and outside on the huge deck overlooking Greer's Ferry Lake. Homeowner also great to work with--would definitely stay here again!

Superb!

The house was possibly the best equipped place we have rented over the years. They had all the things to make cooking an holiday meal easy. The toys and equipment for children were helpful. We had a slight problem the first evening but the hosts responded very quickly and generously. It certainly was a wonderful stay for our family.

Wonderful Getaway

Beautiful views and beautiful house! We truly enjoyed our stay and the house was clean and tidy when we arrived. Would highly recommend. It was just my husband and I and house can easily accommodate 2 couples or a family.

Great place !

Lovely house ! The owner is very friendly and accessible. The access to the lake is steep but we already knew that. We had a boat and the boat ramp is really close (1.5miles). Would definitely rent it again!

Lovely place

The house is beautiful and very comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. Hosts were prompt and clear with communication. It is a long, windy, hilly drive back to the home and the driveway is VERY steep, but worth the efforts!

FaNtAsTiC property!

Great getaway spot! The house is spacious and lovely, with plenty of deck space for that wonderful view. Lake access via a path, with an area to sit on the "beach" and bob around in the lake. Owner is accommodating, helpful, and friendly. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful Home

The house was very comfortable well stocked. It’s in a quiet area with a beautiful view. Mr. Shumann met us at the property and showed us how everything works. We didn’t have any issues during the stay, but knew he was a phone call away if we needed him. We had a great time!

Hidden gem

Brought the boat up from Texas. Had the whole family there. views were amazing and the lake was wonderful. House was in great shape and has plenty of room. Had a small issue of where to park the boat because of the steep slope of the property but we worked it out. We've been to 3-4 other lake getaways and this was our favorite.

Greers Ferry in August

I believe this was the third summer we have rented Jim's house. House is great with plenty of room the 10 of us in our family. My grandsons ages 11, 12 and 13 love the bottom floor with the bunk room. We cooked dinner 2 of the 3 nights we were there and everyone enjoyed the spacious kitchen.

Beautiful Lake House!

This lakefront home had it all. Incredible views, large rooms, amazing kitchen and access to the lake. Great room with large dining table was perfect for our big family. It's a bit of a steep walk down to the water, but stone path is well maintained and we were able to tie up our boat for easy access throughout the day. Hidden gem of a boat launch is just a mile or so up the road. Bill was super friendly and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful House and amazing views!

This house is very beautiful and is fully stocked with anything you need for a stay. My family and I had a wonderful stay! The owners were very nice and communicated well! The view is amazing, but I wouldn't recommend it with people with little kids. The way down to the lake is not for the faint hearted! :D otherwise it was great!

Wonderful Family Retreat

Home is very large and well appointed. We were able to bring our children and grandchildren for much needed family time. We were able to rent a pontoon using the recommendation of the property owner...very relaxing. The property manager was very responsive and available to help with any issue or question at all times. If you do have small children in your party you may want to bring a couple of baby gates just in case but we were able to work around that situation.
