There are only a select few units at Kiahuna Plantation that offer the location, convenience and a full panoramic ocean view like Kiahuna 17 beach house. We are located in building 4.

Don’t pack up and walk to the beach, experience the beauty of Kauai right from the comfort of your own private lanai. Read a book, sip some wine, or just lay back, relax and enjoy the rhythmic sound of the ocean. It doesn't get any better than this.

Sitting on 35 acres of manicured lawns and tropical gardens, Kiahuna delights the senses with fragrant flowers, beautiful lush plants and canopies of trees. An open ocean side lawn is perfect for outdoor games of catch or Frisbee, or lounging in the sun in one of Kiahuna’s complimentary beach chairs.

Step off the lawn to the white sand beach or into the gentle blue waters for a swim. Pick up snorkel gear at the Beach Hut to spy on the tropical fish. The Beach Hut, located adjacent to the Oceanside lawn, also carries cold beverages, sunscreen, light snacks and other rental equipment. The staff at the Beach Hut can book day cruises, snorkel adventures and many other island activities
Additional Fees & Check-In Information
The departure cleaning fee is not included in the fees collected by VRBO. Guests are required to pay applicable fees directly to Castle Resorts & Hotels at check-in.

Our unit is professionally managed by Castle Resorts & Hotels. Their office is conveniently located adjacent to our building. At check-in, the Castle office will provide you with your unit access code and a parking permit.

Fees:
Reservations booked before March 1, 2026: Castle will collect a departure cleaning fee of $277 plus Hawaii taxes.
Reservations booked on or after March 1, 2026, for stays of fewer than 7 nights: Castle will collect a daily resort fee of $49 plus Hawaii taxes.
Reservations of 7 nights or longer: No daily resort fee applies.
VRBO collects a Castle Reservation Fee (listed as an Administrative Fee) of $30 plus Hawaii taxes.

The current Hawaii tax rate is 18.712%.

Additional housekeeping services, including towel exchanges or extra cleaning, are available for an additional charge. Please contact the Castle office at check-in for the current fee schedule and information about other guest services.

Pack 'n Plays are available through Castle for $12 per day, subject to availability. Please let us know when making your reservation if you would like one so we can notify Castle in advance.

If you encounter any maintenance or housekeeping issues during your stay, please contact the Castle office. Their staff will make every effort to resolve any concerns promptly.
