Please NOTE: The heated Estate Pool (shared by all our guests) will be open as long as weather permits. The private hot tub is open year around.

The Hanson Guest House is one of our newest homes in Pine Manor Estates. The Hanson has become a family-favorite for its open concept, family-focused layout. You'll find this house light, airy and contemporary in design.

There's nothing we love more at Pine Manor than bringing family and/or friends together to enjoy one another's company. The newly designed Hanson Guest House is perfect for just that very reason. The bright, open spaces invite you to simply come together, relax and enjoy one another's company.

The Hanson features two living rooms (one on the main floor and one upstairs), a dining room that seats 8, eat-in kitchen and sitting area, and an expansive backyard including a patio and hot tub. Each of the 5 bedrooms is elegantly appointed and equipped with modern amenities to make you feel right at home.

Among the bedrooms, the Monaco Master Suite features a unique, expansive sun room, two bathrooms and an office space perfect for working from your home away from home.

Weekend visit with son at SIU

This property was wonderful and a short drive to the SIU campus. The property is in excellent condition, hot tub worked great, and it is in a beautiful neighborhood with a nice community lake. We visited too early in the season to enjoy the community pool, but it looks very nice. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Wonderful space for family!

A family gathering of 15+ with ages 5 to 78 - this home provided ample space to hang and catch up. We enjoyed the short walk to the paddle boats and lake views!

This place was gorgeous. We stayed with my parents (aged 76) and our kids (ages 14, 11 and 8) Hot tub was pristine clean. Everything was so pretty and nice. Would love to visit again. Kitchen was well appointed. Plenty of towels, etc in all the bathrooms. Such a beautiful place to stay.

Lovely home!

House is beautiful and very clean! Our only suggestion would be to have mirrors in the upstairs bedrooms to help with the shared upstairs bathroom. Otherwise great!

Absolutely perfect!

We had a group of 4 couples and this place exceeded our expectations! From the well stocked kitchen (I've stayed at places that make a claim to have a stocked kitchen when they didn't have a cookie sheet or even a large frying pan) to the bathrooms that had plenty of washcloths and towels. The house has plenty of room and is gorgeous! You can tell that the owners have put alot of thought and effort into making this place a perfect vacation home. Best vrbo that I've ever stayed in...5 star rating for sure!

Son's Wedding

Everything was awesome!!! Plenty of towels and bathroom supplies. There were 10 of us and we had plenty of anything we needed. I gave a 5 star on everything. I couldn't say enough great things about the house and the host. We plan on coming back to stay again.

Pine Manor Estates

I rented this house because I had family coming in from England and I wanted the rest of the family to meet them. The house was beautiful. No complaints. The pool would have been beautiful but it needs refinishing badly. Four of the kids in our group cut themselves on the stairs because the tiles were falling off and sharp. One of the kids had a large piece of his heel torn off. To finish it all off, I got an email saying they were keeping my security deposit because we had an unauthorized pet in the house. The manager said she was in the house and saw all the dog hair herself. I don't know what she saw but not one time did we have any pets of any kind in that house. I even took pictures after everyone left just to be sure. In the end she returned my security deposit, but to say we had dog hair everywhere when there was never a pet in that house is a blatant lie. I was going to rent from this place next summer but I think I'll pass now. I can't trust that they will be honest with me. I will post every picture that was taken at that house and anybody will be hard pressed to find an animal of any kind in or out of that house.

We are refinishing the pool now and closed it early to do so. We were unable to locate any sharp edges on the steps but certainly take any possibility of injuries very seriously and have decided to refinish the steps as well as a pre-cautionary measure. We try to make certain that only our dog-friendly houses are used for pets so we can keep ALL guests at Pine Manor Estates happy as many have allergies to pets so those guests specifically request houses that never allow any dogs inside. After our conversation, I happily refunded your deposit and welcomed your family back to Pine Manor Estates as I felt confident we had clarified any misunderstandings from either side. For other prospective guests reading this review, just let me know if you want to bring your fur baby and I will gladly let you know which houses welcome your pets with open arms. As for the pool . . . it's going to be fantastic when it reopens next spring! Come on out and stay awhile!

Beautiful with lots to do

We had a large family from around the country stay here for a wedding and it was amazing. There were lots of activities for us to do on sitr and plenty of space in the home for everyone to spread out. The home came with plenty of towels, pots and pans, dishes....everything we could hace needed.

Girls Weekend getaway

The women in my family met up for a weekend away. We had multiple generations in the same home and ALL said the same thing, it was even more beautiful in person. There was plenty of space for us to be together and relax on our own. All of the furniture was not only beautiful but comfortable. The beds were amazing. There were plenty of clean towels and linens. There were Pool towels for the hot tub and to take to pool that was a short walk across the street and provided floats, sunscreen and comfortable lounge chairs with beautiful view of lake and access to the paddle boats. I could not believe the amenities and price was shared by Multiple people made it less expensive than a hotel in a much more private space. We did go to out to dinner and a few wine trails but once we arrived we didn’t want to leave the property. We hope to be back next year

Best kept Secret

If you’re looking for a rental that has everything from cooking utensils to a whirlpool, this is your best deal. The property was spacious enough to offer each guest their privacy and large enough to offer seating for everyone. Also the staff is helpful. I definitely plan to return.
