THE PROPERTY

Surrounded by 4000 acres of Lush Shawnee Forest Big Sky Cabin sits on 20 acres of land. Secluded and Private this home welcomes you for a peaceful retreat. The home boasts all wood floors and tons of windows that provide scenic views and natural light. The large deck is the perfect place to hang and have a glass of wine. Large Fire Pit Overlooking Green Hills and Large Pine Trees.

The open living room flows into the kitchen and dining room, perfect for entertaining guests and socializing. The living room has a nice sectional sofa and a TV with DVD. The Kitchen/dining area has a 14 foot Farm Table.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and modern essentials. Prepare a delicious home-cooked meal with ease. Farm Table can sit up to 14 people.
Play a game of pool and Pac-man-Donkey Kong-Galaga ! The game room has big windows everywhere with connecting Deck. Large Sofa and BIG TV for movies at night! Wood Burning Fireplace!

4 cozy bedrooms with enough room in the home to sleep 20. The master bedroom includes a queen bed, an en-suite bathroom with shower and Jaczzui. The rest of the bedrooms have queen beds and are very cozy.

From this serene location, you'll be ideally situated to discover all that Alto Pass has to offer! From wine tasting, to boating, hiking and more, you'll never be short of things to do and places to discover.

Wine enthusiasts will be in paradise, with more than 15 wineries in the area to visit. Plus new Craft Microbreweries!
La Rue Pine Hills is roughly a 15-minute drive away, where you can spend sunny afternoons and hiking beside marvelous 2 million year-old sandstone bluffs. For a day on the water on the water check out Little Grassy lake were you can rents boats and Kayaks

Host was great, contacted me to say thank you for renting his house. Hot tub was perfect which was one of main reasons for renting the house, along with the 2 bathrooms, and the location. A good floor plan for 2 or more people. It was just my friend and I so we loved having are own separate wings!!! It also was not hard to find and close to the bourbon bar and a few wineries. Once you get the lay of the area other wineries are not hard to find. Overall hard a great time.

Place was very clean other than marks on the wall. The owner was AWESOME! Always responsive and friendly when we reached out. Beds were comfy, kitchen was large and very clean. Pool table was lots of fun. Didn't use the hot tub bc it was unreasonably warm but looked clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay again or use Brian's VBRO spots again.

Big Sky was utterly breathtaking. From the peacefulness on 20 acres of woods, personal fire pit by the pond, and don't get us started on the Wine Trails! Delicious! Then you stepped inside to the most luxurious decorated home, hard crafted kitchen table, a movie/game room, and a master suite with not only a jetted tub, but Bath oils, salts, and lotions included. 10 stars and we will be back. What a great weekend getaway for your family, Girls weekend, Bachelor party... You will love it! Additional bonus, the owner Brian, goes above and beyond any place I've stayed!

Great property - has everything you are looking for!

Weekend Getaway

This was our second time visiting this property. The seclusion and nature is what sold this property to me. It was nice to spend quality family time relaxing, playing lots of pool, cooking and some hot tub time. We will definitely be back!!!

Deer Widow Weekend

Found this property while looking for places to stay near Alto Pass. Was a great cabin! Tucked far enough away from people but close to the wineries! The host Brian was over the top accommodating! We will definitely stay at his properties again!

Great location for what we were looking for. The house was excellent with lots of room. Loved the hot tub and family room with pool table. We saw the Northern Lights while there....bonus.

Beautiful weekend getaway!!

We absolutely loved the Big Sky cabin and are already planning our next trip back. It was such a relaxing weekend. We loved the property and the fire pit was really fun for our chill friend’s weekend. The home itself was clean the hot tub was really relaxing. Brian was very responsive and easy to talk to, making the entire trip stress free. If you are looking for a calm weekend getaway with friends or family do yourself a favor and book the Big Sky Cabin!

Perfect Getaway

The family traveled down for some hiking and the wine trail experience. The house was perfect for us. When we were hanging at the house so many things to do with TV, pool table, darts, arcade games. The kitchen had all the essentials to cook dinner and breakfast when we didn't feel like leaving. So close to the wine trail which we did one day and a quick 2-hour trip to Garden of the Gods. We intend on returning next fall as there are many more places to hike and wineries to visit.

An okay stay

Everything was good except the kitchen. The cabinets need much attention, no kitchen towels, no tin foil and storage bags, dishwaher did not get dishes clean. Hot tub worked nicely!! Bath towels and bedding were very nice. Suggest supplying board games and card games. Pool table was great!! a few more board games and card games.
