1920’s Country Cottage. Whether seeking picture postcard sunrise or moonlight dancing across the water, this cozy & economical Westside Seneca Lake getaway will create memories for years to come. Accommodating up to 4, includes one oversized bedroom with two queen beds and a queen size sleeper sofa in living room. Fully equipped, hand crafted pine paneling, refrigerator, gas stove, microwave oven, washer, dryer and kerosene heat for winter getaways and features large windows, Dutch door, screened-in porch, level grassy lot, firepit& lakeside lot w/dock. Walking distance to two local restaurants -Showboat Restaurant in one direction and Rainbow Cove in the other. Close driving proximity to marinas, restaurants,Watkins Glen State Park, Corning Museum of Glass, Glenn H. Curtiss Aviation Museum and regional sightseeing. Limitless antiquing, country drives, quaint villages, world renowned wine trails and lazy days. Cable TV is included, Cell phone recommended, Free WiFi access.
Single night stays will be considered based on the availability as reflected on the Calendar

You’re welcome to use my linens if you wash/dry towels & return to the linen closet. Please drop the bedding washer when you leave we'll dry.

Pets will only be welcomed if pre approved. Instant bookings with pets that have not been approved will be cancelled by owner. Please inquire.

We had such an amazing weekend at your place on Seneca Lake. It’s so beautiful and peaceful, yet close enough to explore the wineries and Watkins Glen. I will definitely recommend this place to my family and friends.

Another wonderful stay

I have been staying at Cotters Cove several years and my family and,I just love it. The best flat beautiful yard and fire pit. A nice dock for fishing and morning coffee and the coziest cottage. Rain or shine..Cotters Cove is a delight!

Phenomenal!!

We decided to go to the Finger Lakes at the last minute and found this charming cottage right on Seneca Lake through VRBO. The communication from the host was exceptional. Kathy was prompt, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The moment we walked in the door we felt at home. The cottage is cute, cozy, clean and comfortable! Property is in a fantastic location. The views and sunrises at the cottage are spectacular! The fire pit was one of our favorite places to hang out at night. We cannot say enough good things about the host, property, and location. Thank you for sharing your extraordinary cottage with us and for making our first visit to the Finger Lakes so memorable. We hope to stay again! Oh, and we had absolutely no issues with the heat in the cottage the three nights we stayed here, and the nighttime temps were around 35-40 degrees (Fahrenheit). Thanks again! Perfect Location on the Lake

This cottage is the perfect location on the lake and we have enjoyed a relaxing stay here several times. The cottage has everything we could need and wonderful lake views as well as access to the lake on the private dock. It's also a great location close to many of the area's wineries.

Classic Cozy Lake Cottage!!

Great place and has everything you need. If there was rain we just enjoyed the screened porch or hung out under the gazebo. Beds were comfortable and this place is just right for a couple looking for a getaway. The bald eagles nest behind the cottage was a bonus and south Plum Point Road offered amazing views of the lake, flowers birds and wildlife. We would definitely stay again. ❤️

Beautiful Spot on Seneca Lake

Had a wonderful time during our stay! Lovely view, so nice to enjoy the lake being so close. Loved the dock, spent most of our time there, and the beautiful fire pit! Accomodations were wonderful, owner provided everything you could need! Would stay again for sure!

We REALLY enjoyed our stay here, especially the screened-in porch!! Loved the lighthouse too!! The only thing concerning was the “funky-smelling” water from the faucets and shower.

Perfect cottage on Seneca Lake!

Talk about exceptional, this cottage is where you want to stay! Great location, access to the Lake, restaurant nearby, and perfectly comfortable. Stepping into the cottage the first time was like being at home. Everything is there for your use, everything easy to find, just enjoyable! I highly recommend to everyone to rent this super facility for your personal enjoyment! ,

Charming cottage with beautiful views!

The purrfect place to relax and explore the area. Greatly appreciated host allowing our beloved cat to join the trip! The cottage was very clean and fully equipped with anything you needed, cooking or playing games. The screened porch kept the bugs out and fresh air flowing - we all enjoyed the porch, w/lake views, and watched sunrise one morning. Although it rained during our trip, the outdoor area is something we would have used, with firepit and comfortable seating with spectacular views. Nice garden areas to explore which felt very private. Wonderful and communicative host answered all our questions. She made us feel at home and we respected the history and love found in this charming family cottage. Well water tasted very good. Nice hot showers. Full size washer/dryer. Everything (and more) that you will find in other rentals. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation. We hope to return again! Thank you for hosting us!!

Lakeside at Seneca Lake

We loved the view of the lake and the proximity of places we wanted to visit. The cabin is older, but comfortable. We had a great stay.

Peaceful stay

Beautiful sunrises, peaceful and very quiet. Walking distance to a restaurant and in the heart of wine country. Great enclosed front porch to have coffee and tea. As you can tell, it was very refreshing and wonderful!
