Come enjoy the amazing ocean views and breathtaking sunsets in our updated deluxe one bedroom, one bath, air-conditioned condo. Sugar Beach Resort, is just steps away from the 5-mile white sandy beach. Our beach access is excellent for swimming, snorkeling, windsurfing, kayaking, canoe paddling, or for just relaxing. Take a long romantic walk on the sugar-like sand, gaze at the spectacular sunsets, watch for whales (in season) or swim with green sea turtles. The opportunities abound. Our unit faces north on beautiful Maalaea Bay, which is part of the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary. Whale season runs from November to May, with peak whale watching from January to March. Witnessing one of these mammals is simply breathtaking.

World-class golf, five-star restaurants, exclusive island shops, and the famous Kihei Farmers Market are minutes away.

Sugar Beach Resort offers a large pool area with Jacuzzi, sauna, and a children's wading pool. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with putting green and a Koi pond, oceanfront gas barbecues with dining tables with full ocean view and free onsite parking. On property are Massage Maui and Dina’s Deli sandwich shop and bar. The famous Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice, Sugar Beach Bakery and ABC Store and Farmer’s Market are about a seven-minute walk down the beach.

Sugar Beach Resort is centrally located and is an easy drive to the Westside, Kapalua, IAO Valley, Maui Plantation, downtown Kihei, Wailea, north shore/Paia and some of Maui's famous beaches, renowned golf courses and Maalea Harbor where the Maui Ocean Aquarium is.
After a day of fun in the sun and surf or sightseeing adventures around the island, return to our Sugar Beach Resort Condo #208 to relax on your private ocean view lanai.

Our upgraded condo is stylishly and comfortably furnished. Some of the features include central air conditioning, laminate flooring throughout, a 70” Flat Screen Smart TV in living room and 60” Smart TV in bedroom. We provide free Wi-Fi and long-distance calls to the mainland and Canada.

The gourmet equipped kitchen is ready for any chef who loves to cook, fully stocked with cookware, utensils, spices, olive oil, and cooking spray. Feature’s quartz counter tops, white cabinets, classy kitchen island with seating for two. For more intimate dining, we feature a dining table on the Lanai.

Our unit sleeps 2, with a Cal king-sized bed with luxury linens and mattress. The unit also includes a queen sofa-bed, dishwasher and a washer & dryer for your convenience.
Don’t want to pack beauty tools? No problem! We provide a premium blow-dryer, straightener, curling iron, soap, shampoo, and conditioner.

Where do I even start? The unit is spotless, modern and has everything you need for your stay, including beach chairs, boogie boards, and a perfect view of the ocean for sunsets! The kitchen was well stocked and had things like spices, oil and vinegar, and foil which were great to not have to purchase. The hosts were the best, helpful and accommodating hosts I’ve ever dealt with on VRBO! They really helped us out with our arrival and checkout times when the airline changed our flight times. And they were super responsive both prior and during our stay when we had a few questions. They even gave us a sweet welcome basket of helpful things and treats. The space was just what my son, husband and I needed for a break after a hectic year. We are grateful for our opportunity to stay there and truly hope to return and book their unit again. Mahalo!

Sugar Beach Paradise

Love our stay at this condo! We've stayed at several in this complex and this was definitely the best. Everything we could have needed was provided for a 2.5 week stay, including towels, beach chairs and umbrella. Lots of charging options too! Didn't have to purchase anything for the stay. The condo is beautifully furnished with contemporary furnishings and very comfortable. Highly recommend!!!

Great vacation at Sugar Beach Resort

Our first trip to Maui was amazing. Our stay at Sugar Beach Resort was perfect. The resort grounds and pool area were maintained everyday and kept very clean.Being a beachfront resort it was great for taking morning walks on the beach. Our hosts were great with providing ease of access to condo and checking in to ensure our needs were met. Providing us with everything we needed for a perfect beach vacation. There information package they provided with there favourite places and things to see and do was perfect for our first time to Maui. I would definitely recommend Sugar Beach Resort 208.

Great Location! Attentive Hosts

What a great place to relax, enjoy Maui, and enjoy the beautiful Maui sunsets. We would definitely stay again. The unit was stocked with everything we needed. We appreciated the hair dryers, paper products for kitchen and bath, and soap for laundry and dishwasher. The Welcome Basket was a nice surprise! Great location to easily get to Maui activities and airport. Thank you Melinda and Jerry!

Great Stay

The condo was exactly as listed. Had all the amenities you need. Including beach chairs, pool noodles etc. Bed was very comfortable, with really nice sheets 😊 The welcome basket was a nice touch and appreciated.

Great location & condo

The condo was very convenient and very well appointed. Bed was comfortable, TVs great, kitchen stocked with everything you could need! Great water pressure in shower and lots of hot water. Loved our stay, very comfortable.

Great location!

Great stay. Hosts very attentive. Clean! Well thought out for guests. Had beach chairs body board, all the kitchen supplies you can think of, washer and dryer. Fantastic view of the ocean steps away from the condo! Beautiful for the sunset! We really enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic Location with Great Views

All in all, the property is awesome, we spent 6 nights here, the owner was very communicative and checked in to make sure everything was going well. The other residents of the building were very nice and the amenities were great. This property is a short walk from a fantastic bake shop and local store, and a very easy drive to some very good restaurants. We would highly recommend staying here, especially with the property being directly on the beach. Big thanks to Jerry and Melinda - they have the place set up very well and the must haves (beach chairs, towels, sun shade and cooler) is all provided for your beach adventures. The condo itself is very cute and is the perfect beach getaway style of place. Big thanks, we will definitely be back!!

Beautiful unit, lots of amenities, great welcome basket i don't think there was anything else you could have provided. I would highly recommend to anyone. location is great, beach is long and safe. View of ocean is lovely. BBQs were always clean and in great working order.

Amazing!

We stayed in this beautiful condo in Maui last week, and it was truly amazing! Melinda made sure our check-in at midnight was seamless, and kept in contact throughout our visit. The welcome basket was a nice surprise, and very much appreciated! We met several other guests downstairs at the barbecues, and they gave us great tips on exploring Maui. We drove all the way around the Road To Hana, going the opposite direction, starting on the unpaved road.😳 My favorite part of the trip was watching the sunset over the ocean, and that final flash of green every evening from the lanai. Will definitely book another trip!

We really enjoyed our stay in Kihei. It was the perfect location in Maui on a beautiful beach. The condo was clean and well-appointed. The lanai had beautiful views and was a great place to eat breakfast and drink our coffee. We also enjoyed the chairs and the umbrella provided. The welcome basket was a really nice touch that was greatly appreciated.

Nice Condo in a great location

This is the 3rd time we've stayed at the Sugar Beach resort and this unit was the best so far. Our 1 bedroom was clean and ready early and had everything we could have asked for - even beach towels! The owners were very attentive through-out the stay. The main area was nicely updated and had a very comfortable sofa/sectional - in fact that was the main draw for my husband. The bed was oversized and very comfortable as well. The kitchen had everything you could need. The check in process was easy and the resort is centrally located. We especially enjoyed to long sandy beach.

Absolutely lovely

The unit and the view were great. The hosts had everything you could possibly want or need available. Every detail was perfect. Having the beach chairs, beach towels and cooler was such a great perk. The unit itself is beautifully decorated, you can easily see that so much thought and effort was put into this unit to make it such a wonderful vacation experience. We completely felt at home and would not hesitate to return. They even have a Maui guide book in the unit that proved to be so helpful.

Amazing condo!!

I have stayed at Sugar Beach 5+ times with my family and we always stay in the same unit- Beach/ocean front. This was a girlfriends trip and my usual condo was not available… so began looking at other options. This until is on the second floor back off the ocean more in the garden area - I thought I would miss the view of ocean front BUT not at all! The view from here is gorgeous! You get to look over the pool and through the palm trees…. Which created awesome sunset photos! We could see the whales even. The little waterfall is right off this lani. Sitting outside in the mornings and evening is beautiful and so relaxing. The condo is very clean and has everything you need and then some! I slept on the pull out couch for 8 nights - it was like a normal bed - and memory foam- no coils in this pull out! Melinda has thought of everything to make your vacation smooth! Melina was a great communicator at just the right time… as if she was reading my mind when I needed something. The welcome email was fabulous even for someone that has been to Maui several times and over researches everything! The welcome gifts - perfect! If I someday was to own a condo and rent it out I would want to treat my guests just like Melina has treated and prepared for us! She is one of the top hosts I have experienced on many vacations! Consider yourself lucky if your dates are available for your Maui stay! I will be back to this gem!

The location was quiet and peaceful. The condo was spacious, maintained and very clean. The host had everything you would need to make one’s stay perfect. The gift basket was a lovely touch and the host kept in touch to exude your stay was memorable. Bonus: it’s mid February and there was a lot of whale action! Thank you for sharing your vacation home. Amazing!!

Cannot recommend staying at this property enough!! It has a beautiful view of the ocean, with stunning sunsets almost every night! There’s a nice balcony where you can eat breakfast and dinner and watch the ocean. The pool, hot tub, and beach are all right there as well. Central location is great: easy to get to Lahaina side and easy to get to Wailea/Makena. The apartment itself is super nice. Big kitchen and huge king bed. There are also beach towels, beach chairs, and even boogie boards! There’s a huge flat screen tv in the living room. Washer dryer in unit is a nice plus too. They also thoughtfully left a little gift basket with things like sunscreen. HIGHLY recommend! Hope to return!
