Welcome to our authentic log cabin located in Todd, NC! The home is quiet and private but not isolated. We're just minutes from downtown Boone, a short drive to West Jefferson, and conveniently located to visit Ashe County and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Our cozy home is the perfect place for families, couples, and friends! We comfortably sleep up to 9 guests and have 3 full baths. You’ll find something for everyone here… enjoy our indoor game room with football and ping pong table, take a ride on our Peloton bike (just bring your shoes), or enjoy some outdoor air around our firepit!
Did we mention the location? The house is minutes from some of the best attractions in Watauga and Ashe County. Be sure to check out all the boutique shops, galleries, antiques, restaurants, and seasonal shows these towns have to offer!
The main level of the house (gate for the little one not to go downstairs provided) features two full bedrooms, a full bathroom, a dining room that sits up to 10 people, living room, and granite counter kitchen with nice stainless steel appliances. In the living room you'll find a real wood burning fireplace as the main attraction and a 60" TV with surround sound. The first bedroom in the main level has a king size bed, dresser and night stand. The second bedroom room has a queen bed, and a chest of drawers.
In the finished walk out basement there is a day bed with trundle that also sleeps 2 with a full bathroom. The laundry room is located in the basement as well with top of the line washer and dryer. You’ll also find the game room with a dart board, a foosball table, ping pong table, and the peloton bike on the basement level. The different games will supply your family with hours of entertainment. Next to the play room there is a bistro table that seats four, a large TV, and a bar. This area is perfect for adults to disconnect from it all and have a good time with family and friends. Once you step out of the basement we added a deck and large hot tub on the ground level.
The main bedroom/bathroom suite and loft are located on the 3rd level of the home. The main bedroom has a 42" flat screen TV and a king size bed. The bathroom has a claw foot tub, his and her sinks, and a shower with 2 shower heads. One shower head comes from the ceiling like a mountain rain shower. The loft has a mission style desk with two large computer screens, high speed WiFi available, and a convertible twin sleeper. All linens are supplied and are all bleached and sanitized after every renter!
Come and enjoy everything that our area has to offer. We have all 4 seasons!! In the spring come and bike Railroad Grade (~1.5 mile away) , canoe (New River ~1.5 mile away), hike, cave, zipline, and do white water rafting. In the summer come and drift down our river with inner tubes . In the Fall come see our spectacular Fall colors. In the winter you'll enjoy all the winter sports, such as skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, ice skating and snow shoeing in any of the four local ski resorts that are near by. Come see the incredible views on Grandfather mountain or do some shopping in Beautiful Blowing Rock, Boone, Banner Elk and West Jefferson.

We have two exterior cameras on the property... one at the front door and one facing the hot tub as required by our insurance. Blocking these cameras for any reason will result in immediate termination of your stay without refund.
*** Please remember that we do get snow, rain, fog, and other occasional inconveniences that are out of our control here in the mountains. Winter weather can occur here from November through April. This property is accessed and maintained via a gravel road which may be icy or snowy during winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means four-wheel drive, good tires, and possibly snow chains. It is your responsibility to be prepared for potentially hazardous road conditions.
