A MontCalm Experience

Experience the MontCalm A-frame and let the stress melt away. The MontCalm A-Frame sleeps 4. The loft above has a king bed that features breathtaking views of lake Montcalm. Below is a queen bedroom. The oversized deck along the lake gives you the perfect platform to watch breathtaking sunsets that the lake is so famous for. From top to bottom the property has been completely renovated, designed to enhance relaxation.

This property has everything you need including bedding, towels, and a fully stocked kitchen. Four kayaks and a fishing boat are also on the property for use and enjoy the lake. There is a sandy beach to relax in and a great fire-pit to gather around in the evening. All you need to bring is food and some beach towels.

This beautifully remodeled modern a-frame with 50 feet of frontage on all-sports Montcalm Lake is only 45 minutes north of Grand Rapids and 2.5 hours from Detroit. Perfect for a quick relaxing long weekend a week-long retreat.

The wifi is not great, it is satellite (huges net, but it is there if you need it).
The water is well water and recommended bringing drinking water.

Peaceful Bliss

The property was immaculate and well thought out. It’s perfect for couples or small groups. The lake is beautiful and great for kayaking and swimming. A definite return visit is in the works!

Nice location for our golf / kayaking trip! Nice lake!The property manager was wonderful to work with…The property was not clean to say the least and needs updating.

Overall we had a great stay and would stay there again. It was disappointing that I had asked if there were life jackets at the property and I was told that there was. When there were no life jackets to be found the host never responded about this. We ended up having to purchase life jackets locally at quite and up charge. That was 100.00 I would have preferred to spend elsewhere.

Great Getaway

This place is so very cute! Everything was awesome except for the weather but that has nothing to do with this A frame :) So clean and updated. My daughter and her friends enjoyed it very much. Cassandra was very easy to get ahold of and answered questions quickly and we were very pleased. Enjoy!!!

Cutest Little A-frame

Had a great stay with our kids enjoying some quality time together. Super cute setup inside and out. We spent alot of it inside due to rain but we brought games and watched movies. House is equipped with everything you need. Just bring food as there is nowhere around to quickly grab a bite to eat. Hoping to come back in the summer and enjoy the lake a little more!

Sweet Cabin

Beautiful view of the lake and trees in nature. Nice layout of cabin for the size and camping neutral decor. Several things had not been cleaned. Spilled milk in refrigerator and pancake batter all over interior trash lid. The loft bedding was not clean and neither was the couch bedding. Cleaning service needs to do better. Host kindly refunded half of cleaning fee. I would have expected all of cleaning fee refunded just because I’m not sure what was done. We put down our own blankets and laid on them. We left it better than we found it. Other than that, it was a positive experience with our children. Being with them was the best.

Weekend getaway

We came up to the area for a family get together and this house was perfect for us! It was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend! Also a beautiful view of the lake and adorable decor! Thank you so much for providing such a great rental!

Relaxing Weekend on the Lake

Perfect, cozy house on the lake with ample kayaks and lots of outdoor living. The cabin itself is stunning, very comfortable and has excellent views. Would totally recommend.

MontCALM!!

It's all in the name! Such a calm, peaceful atmosphere to refresh and relax! We enjoyed our time kayaking, boating, fishing and relaxing in the sun! For our time there we were the only ones on the lake most days so it felt private. We enjoyed dining on the deck and roasting s'mores on the fire watching the sunset. No restaurants we saw nearby but great ice cream around the corner and a cute Amish cheese shop nearby. Wifi is spotty and tv doesn't work in the rain so bring board games/cards or a good book just in case. Overall a great place to unplug for awhile and connect with family or friends.

Four day stay

Our stay was great. The rental property was cute and clean. There were small grocery stores and good places to eat within 15 minutes. This would be a perfect place for anyone looking to disconnect from a crazy busy life and just enjoy some peace and quiet.

Family visit.

My nieces and nephews all gathered at this beautiful lake property. The kids had a blast and adults kept watch from the beautiful pouch.. If you need to escape from life or just unplug I encourage you to book this home.

Great Hip/Cute A Frame!

A super well-put-together home in Six Lakes, Michigan. While it's a small place, it has everything you need for a relaxing getaway: kitchen, good bathroom, two spacious bedrooms and a small living area. The setup of the home maximizes the space it offers. To the point that it's almost unbelievable! On top of the layout, the decor is stunning and perfectly placed. We stayed in the Winter, but would love to come back in the Spring, Summer, and/or Fall to enjoy the lake and outdoor fire pit. It's worth noting that you should be prepared to bring food to cook. While there are places to visit 30-60 minutes driving distance, there's not a whole lot in the immediate area. However, I wouldn't let this be a deterrent from staying. It's a wonderful location that any couple or small group of friends/family would love.

From the moment we pulled up we loved the setting. There is just something about a-frames that we just love!! When we saw the sunsets from the backyard we could not wait to add a massive deck and the roof overhang. We are so happy with this home and hope you love it too!
