The beds were super comfortable. Everything was really clean the place had both a Keurig and regular coffee maker. The staff and host were very friendly. Convient location to local shopping, grocery, gas, and beaches. Definitely would stay here again!

Appreciated the call days ahead of visit to fill us in on details. Quick response to a question I had about the TV. Unit well stocked. Great complex and location.

We arrived with an uncleaned room (yikes!) but after contacting the host, it was quickly remedied to our satisfaction. This third floor level space was very adequate for our island needs. The kitchen was great for cooking a few meals and the space was more than enough. The bed was very comfortable and we managed to block some of the window light with blankets. It needs some updating (some cabinet doors are loose and the toilet handle fell off after the first flush) but it is what you would expect for island living. We loved the lanai for morning breakfast with a peak of the ocean waves—very comfy chairs there. We found many queen conch shells right off the shore at this beach. The pool was nice, grill also available. There was a hot tub/whirlpool advertised in the listing but there was not one. No problem. Having beach chairs and hard sided coolers provided was awesome for our day trips to other parts of the island to snorkel. We enjoyed our stay!

Thank you for the review. Yes, unfortunately the cleaners were a no show. We immediately addressed it with them and they admitted it was an error on their part. We did credit you the cleaning fee for the error. Thank you for understanding, as we had it on our cleaners schedule and thought we had it covered. We will send in our repair person to check out the cabinet doors and the toilet handle. Thank you for letting us know. Not sure why VRBO changed the listing to show a hot tub, but no, this complex does not have one. It was not in the listing previously, so we're not sure when they changed it. Thanks for letting us know that as well. We have updated the listing. Glad you enjoyed your stay! Have a blessed day!

Annual trip for a month

Very clean property, third floor unit. The breeze was great and wonderful gallery for relaxing.Relatively quiet. Great location -centrally located. Lots of things to do or you can just sit and relax. Very close to the ocean. Would rent here again.

Beautiful!

Wonderful! Great location, smooth check in and out. Condo was fully equipped with everything we needed for a great time on St. Croix. There is air conditioning in every room. We loved our stay here, and would definitely stay here again.

Spring in St. Croix

Great stay at Colony Cove. The unit we rented was spacious and with new appliances and well stocked kitchen if you like to prepare your own meals. Only small negative was that the ac units in the bedrooms were a bit loud, but appreciated having them nevertheless to cool down at night.It has a bit of age to it, but both the condo and the whole complex was very well kept and very clean. It's very clear that everyone here takes great pride in keeping it welcoming. And location was fantastic. Close to Christiansted and one of the main roads to easily get around but still tucked away on a quiet little stretch of beach to get away from it all.

We had inaccurate expectations for this property based on past reviews.

Pros: -excellent location - easy to get to restaurants, grocery stores & activities (a rental car is a must) -air conditioning was only in the 2 bedrooms but worked well -very nice washer & dryer in the condo -plenty of towels including beach towels, paper towels & toilet paper -very nice cooler for guests to use -well stocked kitchen -3rd floor with no critters -comfortable beds -large lanai -quiet neighborhood, gated condo -on the beach -excellent communication from manager Cons: -air conditioning in bedrooms only -the living space was just too hot to enjoy, there was no air movement or breeze from the outdoors - this became very frustrating for us as we were not able to sit in the living area together to socialize - we were aware that there was no air conditioning in the living space but we relied on the reviews that stated there was always a nice breeze - we did not experience the breeze and should have paid more money to have accommodations with air for the time of year that we visited (end of May-beginning of June) -kitchen cabinet doors kept falling off the hinges, overall updating would be nice -we were not informed that the pool would be closed during our stay but we were able to use the pool at the condo next door, which was very nice - the positive reviews of the pool at Colony Cove were a factor in our decision to rent there and we believe we should have been informed of the pool closure before we checked in

Great news!! The owner has added a Mini split AC in the living room, so now this unit is FULLY AIR CONDITIONED!!! The pool renovation is also complete.

Great Location for Cruzan Experience

The property manager was very flexible and helpful. Not much could beat the extra-large patio to enjoy the Cruzan ocean breezes along with the views of the landscape, pool, and beach. However, if the inside is your vice, it also has a couple of air conditioning units and fans. The location is ideal and the condo complex is quiet and clean with friendly neighbors and staff. This condo is close to shops, restaurants, and only about 10 minutes from downtown Christiansted and within 15 minutes of just about anything else.

AWESOME STAY !

In my seven years of coming to the island this was one of the best condos I have rented. The unit is fully set up for comfort and everything is well thought out for business and pleasure. The unit is fully appointed with all your needs for a wonderful stay. The third floor view is great and gallery has great furniture to kick back relax and dine at the end of the day. Very comfortable beds and luxury linens and towels. The appliances are top of the line and will satisfy all levels of chefs. Of course you are right on the beach and very close to all downtown activities and restaurants. David is certainly a premier host. He is very responsive, although I had nothing to call him for. I am hoping to book this unit again and again.
