Welcome to koolkondo where you will experience luxury vacation rentals at its finest. Our stylish boutique hotel style condos and homes have it all. You will absolutely enjoy your home away from home with VIP concierge style services in modern island luxury!

Aloha and welcome to The Compound- a unique private estate experience. This stunning property has four separate homes located on a generous lot with a private yard and communitypool! Our prime location is in the heart of sunny Poipu, and is less than 100 yards from Brennecke's Beach! It's the perfect property to book for your small wedding or family reunion.

Our gorgeous estate consists of one large mainhouse called The Ohana and three 2 bedroom 1 bath bungalows.

The Hula Bungalow is roughly 1,000 square feet and has two bedrooms and one bathroom.

This booking is for just one home not all 4 homes.

This beautifully landscaped piece of paradise is vacation ready! Lounge by the shared community pool that is alsoavailable to our Koolkondo guests at two other locations! Fireup the grill, and relax with your family and friends in this private tropical paradise.

Take in the sparkling ocean views and in less than a minute you can be snorkeling, swimming, or boogie boarding on one of the best beaches on the South Shore.

Come kick off your sandals and enjoy the many splendors of our incredible island.

Air Conditioning- Hawaii is known for its trade winds. Many homes on Kauai have been designed for "open airflow" using screened windows and screened sliding doors, and DO NOT have air conditioning. Please be sure and confirm when making your reservation whether the home you have chosen does or does NOT have air conditioning. Depending on the season, or even the day, temperatures typically range between 74 to 84 for the highs, and 60 to 74 for the lows, year-round. Refunds or discounts ARE NOT given for lack of Air Conditioning in a property.





**Please note: There is a $75 Venmo fee for any check-ins arriving after 11pm. 

Any bookings longer than 7 days will be charged a $200 mid- cleaning fee. Our staff will come and do a "refresh" during your stay.

Wonderful Cottage

Beach house

Cute house in an awesome location. Steps from the beach. Lots of beach toys. Kids loved boogie boarding and snorkeling. We all LOVED seeing the sea turtles. Would stay here again!

The bungalows

We had a great time. There were 13 of us and we rented the 3 bungalows. It was nice to have private pool and a short walk to the beach. We will be back.

Great communication with property manager and quick response to needs. Quiet and peaceful setting. Very clean. All of our needs were met! Michael went up and beyond to get us what we need med and gave us lots of local recommendations. You will not be disappointed if you stay here!

Great location steps from the beach

Property was so easy and literally just down the street from the beach. Each morning we walked down for some snorkeling before the crowds showed up. We stayed in the Hula bungalow and it was super clean with great amenities. Kids loved the pool right out the door. Kitchen was well stocked. Corey the property manager was also really great. Very helpful, responsive, friendly, couldn’t ask for more. Thank you!

Hula Bungalow perfect set up for family of 4 with 2 teens. Few min walk Beach/Surf/snow cones

Check in process is effortless thanks to added videos to gain perspective. Corey the manager checked in with us upon arrival. The bungalow was spacious for the 4 of us. The property had everything needed for our needs. We used the pool, wave-storms surfboards, outdoor shower and barbecue. The kitchen was fully stocked to make meals and barbecue. The air conditioning and fans appreciated. Loved all the hooks to try bathing suits and towel. We will be back!

Family Gathering

We had two of the three bungalows in this compound of 4 units. 8 adults. These two bungalows housed 4 adults each. Very clean, close to the beach, easy access to an adjacent house for family gatherings (7 more in the adjacent house, not part of this compound but next door). This complex of 3 bungalows plus 1 house is well maintained, private, ample parking, play pool, fully stocked in the kitchen, beach toys, chairs and wagons to get to the beach a stone's throw away. Corey the manager is very available and courteous. We would recommend these CoolCondo Bungalows for sure.

Exactly What We Needed.

What can I say? This bungalow was everything it was advertised to be and more. The location is just a short walk to both Brennecke's and Poipu Beaches. There is an abundance of beach gear to use including chairs and wagons to tow your stuff in. The interior was clean and well-decorated to create an inviting feel. There were snacks, coffee, bottled water, shampoo/conditioner, and earplugs -- all a huge bonus. Trust me, many places don't offer any of those things. Corey was so easy to work with and very responsive. We loved being able to take a dip in the pool late in the afternoon and enjoy the beautifully landscaped grounds.

Clean and comfortable

Our unit was very clean and updated. Well stocked kitchen, fluffy towels and comfortable beds and pillows. Outdoor seating options didn’t work for our group. Either a picnic table or pool lounge chairs were our choices which were nice, but some comfy chairs for morning coffee would be nice. One unit did have that option. Otherwise, a common courtyard with some chairs and yard games were available. Nice little touches like a bottle of wine and chocolates were left for us. Beaches and restaurants were within walking distance and area had a relaxed friendly vibe. Don’t forget the chickens and roosters that roam free on the island and crow all night long. Best to leave the windows shut at night. Overall, lovely experience.

Perfect Place to Stay

Our family of 4, including 2 kids age 11 and 12, absolutely loved this place! You can’t ask for a better location. Short easy walk to the beach. Easy walk to food, Puka dog down the street is a must try. Everything about this property was perfect. The house was very clean, beds super comfy, AC kept us nice and cold, they provide everything you could want for the beach and they have plenty for everyone staying on the property to have their own stuff. Property manager was super kind and available right away for any of our asks. They do a lot to keep this property looking good and clean. Wont stay anywhere else when we visit again. Highly recommend.

Perfect Place in the Perfect Location

A magical little compound of four condos right by the beach. Cute little condos with open floor plans that open to a shared yard with a pool and lawn. The owners had everything for beach, pool, and family fun! Many thanks for a great experience!

Wow! What a location!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hula House. The special amenities provided to make it special for us was very much appreciated. The facility was spotless and had a lot of extras that made us feel like we were home away from home when we stayed on the South Shore. They had everything we needed to cook meals for ourselves. They had snorkeling equipment, boogey boards and bikes available for use for our family. The location was the best. It made it so convenient to head to the beach for sunrises, sunsets and to play in the ocean. Could not recommend this vrbo more. Thank you to the Property Manager, Corey, as well. He was great to communicate and work with. And Leah was fantastic as well.
