Gull Reef has classic wrap-around porches that offer a large outdoor seating areas and completely shade and shelter the bright 3BR/1 bath, ground floor unit of a
(2) two-unit property with shared outdoor sink area. It's an easy 2-minute walk (450ft) to the quiet, uncrowded white sands of a Mexico Beach access across the street. The fully furnished duplex offers 1,326 sq. ft. of living space, providing ample room for a comfortable vacation stay. It is in a secure neighborhood with streets lights, large yard, ample, circular parking, with room to park a boat. There are no steps. Your private entrance makes unpacking and packing close and quick. All on ground level, it's convenient for seniors or those with young children. Rental sleeps 6 and has a laundry. The bathroom has plenty of linens with double sinks and large seated shower . Our kitchen is fully equipped with all the essential cookware, utensils, and appliances to prepare any meal. High speed, fiber optic internet and Direct TV are included. Smart TVs are in the living area, master bedroom, and full bedroom. An outdoor shower is available for quick sand removal. The very large covered porch is an ideal place to grill and sit and watch sea bird and sunsets. Check in and out with no person-to-person contact. This low-residential street has no through-traffic. The quaint area is part of ā€œOld Townā€ Mexico Beach. This is a serene and unique area that is devoid of tourist attractions, nightlife, and chaos. It is the perfect getaway during all seasons. Gull Reef is two separate units. This is the ground-floor unit. Extended stay available for snowbirds.

Wonderful stay in quiet Mexico Beach

Well stocked kitchen and clean property with beautiful decor. Loved the throw blankets in every room. Location was perfect and dead end street was a bonus with no traffic. Proximity to quiet beach was great. Absolutely loved the large beach cart and outdoor shower!

This property was exactly as described. A deserted beach for the perfect private vacation.The extra little touches of home from Cheryl was unexpected, but a pleasant surprise. The outdoor shower was excellent for a nice refreshing rinse from the hot sun of the beach. Private enough for a full shower.The fully stocked kitchen of dishes and cookware made meals quick and easy.The beach cart was nice for hauling and the beach accessories were a nice touch though not expected.We loved it and will definitely be back!

Beach return after 3 year break

The property is clean, tidy, has everything we needed to beach, cook, relax, and wash up. The breeze under the deck was exactly as wished for and there was comfort to each bedroom. Love the nice outside large shower area.Easy beach access.

Tropical Hideaway with Southern Hospitality

If you are wanting an stress-free-stay, I would highly recommend this little tropical hideaway. The place was impeccably clean, and our host was the hostess with the most-ess. It is kid-friendly and the location is in walking distance from the beach, coffee, shops, and restaurants. Food trucks are everywhere on the main Highway. It was very hospitable and worth the money we spent for our 3 day stay. Remember, this is a non-smoking rental, but that didnā€™t bother us and we respected the house rules. Gull Reef met my expectations and more with their southern Hospitality.

We have found our forever vacation home!

Absolutely lovely! This was the first remark I made upon entering the home and it is still what comes to mind when I remember our stay at Gullreef. This lovely home has it all! You need only to bring your clothes, swimsuits and beach towels! Cheryl has thought of absolutely everything and has anything you could need to have a wonderful stay. If you can't find it within the home, just ask her and she will have it on property and will promptly get it to you! It's like staying at your favorite relative's home; it feels like home (maybe better,) they have everything you need and continue to ensure you are taken care of! Visiting with Mrs. Cheryl and Mr. Bill was an absolute delight! Very short walk across the street to the beach! Being Autistic, I really need to "know everything" and do not like to have to guess or figure something out. Cheryl has taken all the guesswork out of everything with the alphabetized rules and information to all the labels and reminder notes throughout the home to make for a stress-free stay. (Even the light switches are labeled! This is a HUGE PLUS for me!!) Our week was cut short by Hurricane Helene. I am so very glad that we purchased the travel insurance offered by VRBO. We filed a claim for the dates we lost, and the insurance company has already approved our claim, and the check is in the mail. This is the Gulf, so I would highly recommend anyone staying here during Hurricane season to spend the less than $100 to insure your entire trip.

Far exceeds expectations

The property is immaculate!!! Cheryl has the kitchen so well stocked, if you want it, itā€™s there. From crock pots to electric skillet to plastic sandwich bags. Most of all, she is a wonderful host. Perfect Getaway

We had the best time staying here. It was our first time to Mexico Beach, but we plan on coming back. Cheryl was amazing to work with and was always available to answer questions. The house is very nice, the beds are so comfy and the kitchen and bathroom have everything you need. Could not have asked for anything more. We canā€™t wait to come back.

Excellent stay

This stay was booked because we were looking for a location that was quiet as well as conveniently accessible to the beach. Well this location met both criteria. It was easy to find, easy to access. The beds were comfortable and the decor was pleasing. It had everything we were looking for. Honestly we have never had such a well stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay there again. The owners were quick to welcome us and offer assistance should we encounter any problems - which we did not need. Highly highly recommend this Vrbo.

Gullreef rental is a gem. Within walking distance of beautiful Mexico Beach access. All amenities were readily available including beach cart, outdoor grills, and more. Hosts were amazing. Communication was excellent. Will definitely be back.
