This Tropical Sunset Beach cottage has the beautiful charm of old Florida but with all the updated amenities. Walk to local restaurants, bars, shops and of course the BEACH !This cottage comfortably sleeps 4 with the large pull out sofa off the living room (basically a second bedroom) This is a beach lover's community straight out of a Buffett song. Come and enjoy our little slice of paradise.

Sunset Beach, located on the southern tip of Treasure Island, is a beach lover's community straight out of a Buffett song. This neighborhood welcomes guests of all lifestyles with open arms.

Our cottages are at Sunset Beach where you will find uniquely decorated houses, tiki huts, white sands and beachfront bars where bohemian attitudes prevail.

Why You Should Go: For the sunsets of course, but also for the live and let live attitudes, which make this the ultimate place to discover your inner parrot-head, since it is rumored to be (yet another!) beach that inspired the hit song "Margaritaville."

Amazing property

Check in super simple. Easy to follow directions were sent to me a couple of days before our trip. The cottage had everything the 2 of us needed for our stay. Beach gear, including a wagon and umbrella were provided. It was a short, couple of minute walk to the beach, and a short drive to many of our favorit places on st. Pete and treasure island. We will 100% be staying again!!

This is our second time at this property ,all the updates were fantastic .Got to meet Jolene she was amazing .We got to feed the local squirrels every evening enjoyed our stay very much ,and will be back again!!

Perfect beach getaway!

We loved our stay here! It was the perfect place for a long weekend, with intention to be steps away from the beach, eat good food, and visit fun local spots. The house was in a very convenient location/close to main roadway back to mainland and right off the street yet tucked away enough to feel private. We ran into the owners a few times in passing and they were very friendly and welcoming, quick to respond to our neighbors who had issue getting into their other house upon checkin. Our favorite part was the front porch, we spent morning and late nights out there and enjoyed every moment! There is still construction happening which was to be expected, but was pretty quiet during the weekend. I really wouldn’t have guessed if this house had received any damage, most everything was replaced/brand new and clean. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We had a great atay here in the # 2 bungalow me and my wife . Great little place like Ol'FloridaEverything is new right behind a 7-11 which ended up being very handy. Across the street access to the beach and very quite after sunset couldn't ask for anything else after a great stay lay back and enjoy a vacation that this place will provide. Definitely stay again!!!!

Nice and cozy

Great location, nice little spot for a couple. And the bad The quilt on the bed was tore around the edge. You can’t use the laundry area unless you stay 8 days is what I was told. We stayed 7 days. There was enough towels and wash clothes for 4 days.

Slice of paradise!!

We have stayed in the area for the past 7 plus years ,so far one of our favorites.Met some very nice people while we were staying there .Great location for anyone traveling by foot everything is near by .Hope to get the opportunity to stay again.

Great stay for the beach!

It was represented fairly in the listing, no surprises. Road was a little busy but the cottage was far back from if. The beach public entrance was very close- Just walk out the driveway, across the street and turn right then past 2 houses and you are there!

Best Bungalow Ever!!

This was the most perfect place to stay! It’s super clean, has all amenities you could want, Sunset Beach across the street. There’s also Caddy’s on the beach restaurant/bar just 2 minute walk. Excellent food (and drinks 😊). We also had the bonus of getting to know the long term renters next door who were a pleasure! I can’t say enough good things about this place, you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic Getaway

This sits on a small clump of 3 rental properties. This place is fantastic not only on its own, but because it allows for multiple parties to stay together while offering privacy for each. There’s a common patio area with a fire pit and outdoor seating, a bbq, lots of stuff. I can’t wait to come back and bring my family. The house itself was small but properly advertised. It was comfortable and well equipped, and the location was phenomenal. Minutes from the beach, very close to several other attractions and amenities, its a great place.

Very Nice

We had a great stay. We rented the cottage with the porch, im so glad we did. It was pedfect. Very short walk to the beach and a 7-11 right next door open 24/7. Will definitely stay here again.

Really nice stay

Accidental snafu on check-in (combo of my own fault and bad directions from GPS) had me attempting to enter the wrong cottage. They had someone out right away to help us figure out the problem and we were back on track. Place was cute and clean and well located. Beach supplies (cart and cooler) were super convenient. Note to others that might help you in same situation as me: parking is IN FRONT of this group of cottages. If you're in back, you're at the wrong bungalow. :) Have a great stay!

Tropical cottage

We had a great time at this location for our honeymoon. The thing we enjoyed most about this property was the location of the beach, you can’t beat it with it being right across the street. I personally also loved the plumeria trees outside the cottage and sitting on the porch in the morning/ evening. The only recommendation I would have is more lighting in the bedroom, but that doesn’t change my rating of the property in any way.

Everything we needed!

This was the cutest place ever! So clean, and had everything we needed! The location was perfect. Right across from the entrance to sunset beach and right behind 711 gas station so we could go get coffee or any odds and ends we needed! (candy!) We spent all our evenings on the porch playing cards...the little porch was perfect! Would definitely stay here again. The price was right and the location can't get any better!

Great time at the beach

I had a great time. The rental was very comfortable. I had friend stay one night and she,too, thought it was great. Walk across the street and you are at the beach. My friend and I are both 5 feet and we’re unable to reach some of the dishes on the higher shelves. Bring a small kitchen stool unless you are with tall folks! Coming from the mountains where it is very dark at night, the thermostats cast a fairly bright blue light. With that said, I had a wonderful time and I would recommend the property

Best Friend Reunion

This vacation consisted of my best friend and I reconnecting, reuniting and relaxing. The VRBO was in the perfect location for us as it was about a 2 block walk to the beautiful white sand beaches of the gulf of Mexico. Pictures were exactly as advertised. The front porch had table and chairs and the perfect fan; made it perfect for chatting for hours. We bought some beverages to be consumed on the porch. We also bought some groceries to make one meal a day in the fully stocked kitchen. Our other meals were chosen from local restaurants. We made sure to try a little bit of everything. A local bar/restaurant, Mexican, a high end restaurant located in a hotel, a restraunt that is popular with the younger crowd, we tried them all! I have a sweet tooth, so we also tried every ice cream shop we came across! We also did a fair amount of shopping. And the trick that I learned while shopping is... Always use cash! If you are in these tourist towns they charge you less if you pay in cash! Although this cute little cottage was in the perfect location and served its purpose perfectly, it could use a little TLC. The paint on the walls was chipping throughout. It had multiple cracked and broken tiles on the floor throughout the cottage. The glass shower door in the bathroom was broken. Also the closet door would not, could not stay on its tracks. We were also only given 3 towels for 2 of us for 4 days. Although our stay here was fantastic we probably won't stay here again.
