We loved our stay! It's extremely convenient to lots of great hiking and outdoor activity, plus there are told of games and movies to keep everyone entertained afterwards. Tri is a fantastic host and extremely prompt and communicative. The house had everything we needed for a perfect weekend in the mountains.

It was challenging getting up the driveway as it wasn't plowed, and frozen over. Unfortunately, the house was unprepared for a power outage during our stay. House is as pictured.

Fun for all ages

We had a great stay! The house was perfect for kids: plenty of games, movies, and a pool table to keep everyone entertained. There was tons of space for our group to spread out and relax. The patio and BBQ area were a highlight, and we loved having coffee outside every morning. The hiking trail right outside the house was a nice bonus, and it’s a short drive to both Pinecrest and Dodge Ridge. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home, great location

This is a lovely home with cozy, modern furnishings and a giant-ceiling living room that opens into the kitchen for a great hangout space. Beds were very comfy. Perfect location for visiting Dodge Ridge Mountain.

Family Getaway

Had Great week staying at this location. Very clean and very close to Pinecrest Lake. Highly recommend if you want to spend time at the lakes or want to get some rest.

Great location for outdoor/indoor activities all year round!

Had loads of fun playing the many indoor activities available at the cabin. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed to prep all our meals. Will definitely stay again! Thank you Tri!

Family Adventures

This property was perfect for our first family adventure! There was plenty of room for us to spend time together or be in separate areas for some quiet reading! Everything was cery clean and comfortable! We had some rain during our stay and enjoyed the games, movies and pool table while we were there! We especially loved the suggestion to check out the nearby hiking trail in the welcome book with additional suggestions for yummy treats and activities. We very much enjoyed our time here and are looking forward to our next booking here!

Great getaway

My family and I had an amazing stay. The cabin was very clean and had everything that you and your family would need. Our family visited Pinecrest lake and had a great time. About 10 minutes drive so very convenient. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful family vacation spot!

Our family of 6 including 3 children ages 8-10 loved Tri's place! There were so many fun things to keep the kid occupied including board games, billiards, fuseball, books, and videos. The large open main room was perfect for family time hanging out. Tri was a very responsive and accommodating host. It was the perfect location for a trip to Leland Snow Park and Pinecrest Lake! We hope to return again in the future.

We really loved to stay in the cabin!! The communication with the host was excellent.. The house was only nine minutes away to the lake, the ubicación was great and it was so clean and big, thanks Tri, you made our trip to Pinecrest unforgettable!!!

Perfect cabin for family

Beautiful cabin with soaring ceiling in great room - great to hang out, watch movies, play pool and cook after skiing. 15 mins away from dodge ridge, close to pizza and gas station/store - will be back!

Great holiday getaway

Good sized home with easy access to nearby activities. We enjoyed lunch and sliding at Dodge Ridge and fishing at Beardsley lake. Lots of games to play and a pool table too. Kitchen is well equipped. Good times & memories were made!

Do not look further!

This was a perfect cabin for us, we were 2 families, 3 kids ages 3-8 and a baby. The cabin was spacious with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large living room with a fireplace for a cozy evening, and a grill and a kitchen. We were close to Dodge Ridge and Leland snow play and so the logistics to/from activities were super easy. There are a lot of stairs and we barely used the stroller for baby, this was not a problem but if mobility is a challenge just know there are stairs tp conquer.

Short getaway

This was a last minute, short getaway for 2 nights at this lovely cabin. We have 3 boys ages 9,13, and 14. They really enjoyed the foosball and pool table. The cabin is in a great location, close to Pinecrest lake. We had fun relaxing, watching movies, playing games and visiting the lake. We usually only visit this area in the winter, so it was fun to check it out in the summer.

Young kid-friendly and 15 min to Dodge Ridge

Listing had accurate description of spaces and cleanliness. We appreciated (and made use of!) the kid-friendly play loft that was stocked with legos, race cars, and books. Open space concept was easy to spend family time together -- there was even a Christmas tree during our stay! Location was extremely convenient for skiing at Dodge Ridge (15 min) or snow play at Pinecrest Park (10 min). Ideal location for either and would definitely stay again for a ski trip.

Cozy, comfy cabin, very close to DodgeRidge!

Stayed here with my wife, 3 children, parents and brother. It is a very nice, and comfortable cabin with 8 people. It's less than 20 minutes away from Dodgeridge Ski Resort, so makes getting to the mountain early really easy. The furniture and beds are comfortable and the pool and foosball tables are a fantastic source of entertainment for the whole family. There are even legos upstairs for the kids. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the appliances and kitchenware you could possibly need. The cabin was very clean and the check-in and checkout process are very simple and convenient. The owner was easy to communicate with and responsive to our questions. I was very happy with our stay and will definitely plan to return in the future. I recommend this place to others.

Snow Trip

My family and I were super excited about this trip. It was my son‘s birthday and all he wanted was a snow trip. The day of the trip was his actual birthday. We had check in at 3 PM so we decided to do lunch before we headed up which was about a 2 Hour. During lunch I noticed we had not received check information with the access code. I send a message to the host since my understanding was that check-in was at three, however he thought check-in was at five. He informed me the cabin wasn’t ready, but he was going to get on it. He granted me access at 3 o’clock since that’s what the paperwork said. The cleaner arrived just before 4 o’clock. We literally sat in a living room till 730 when she was done. I was communicating with Tri during this time. Tri was very helpful and friendly. He apologized for the inconvenience. The only reason I’m giving this cabin a four star rating was because he going to reimburse some money back for the inconvenience. I waited about a week and a half and still haven’t received anything from him. The thing is I wasn’t expecting anything but don’t tell me you’re gonna do something when you’re not. Joanne, the cleaning lady was very apologetic throughout the whole time. She was very friendly and worked efficiently when we were there. The place it’s self was nicely maintained. Glad there was no bunk beds since my children are teenagers and probably would not have fit.

My family and I absolutely enjoyed our stay! From the very start, Tri was quick to respond and answer any questions we had. We stayed for 3 nights and 2 days, and it really felt like a home away from home. All the basic essentials were provided, (towels, kitchen utensils/dishes, soap). Upon arrival, I really appreciated the creative info booklet that Tri made... It had information about the house and the surrounding area, (it was super helpful)! We took a drive to Pinecrest Lake, it was about a 10 minute drive, the stopped at Mia's for lunch on the way back... the food was amazing! My children also had plenty to do at the house. There were books, games, and legos... which kept them busy during some down time. Overall, it was a great stay and we would love to return again some day!

Great house while staying for ski trip to dodge ridge. Kids enjoyed the play area and games; parents enjoyed the hiking trail from driveway; comfortable beds and clean house; 5mins drive to Mia’s (delicious food) and 15mins to dodge ridge; Tri was very responsive. We forgot stuff at house and Tri let us go back to get it. Hope to return.

A wonderful house!

We loved this house! It was very clean and comfortable. The open living space part of the house has skylights which make it very bright and airy. Both small and large details were handled nicely, like all the light switches being labeled, and kid-friendly plates, and a loft with Legos. It even had board games (my kids got addicted to Apples to Apples Junior) and a pool table and foosball table that we enjoyed. It's also at a great location for skiing at Dodge Ridge and hiking at Pinecrest Lake. And the host was very helpful and responsive. Just a great experience all around.
