Love it!

This was our 2nd time staying at the Blue Footed Booby. The last 2 years we have had a large group traveling with us, 16 people this year, and there was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoy this location so much, we would book it even it were just the 5 of us. The only issue we have had is the door code wouldn't work, we called Bolivar Vacations and they had it resolved within minutes. Very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend them and this house to anyone.

Summer Vacation 25

The peir being built just to the East of the property was not a problem during our stay. The future of this property will be changing with the completion of the peir project. If you are going to fish it will be a welcomeing project. But it will probably increase traffic in the area.

10 out of 10 would recommend

We spend several days each summer on the peninsula and have stayed at several different rentals. The Blue Footed Booby is by far our favorite. It is close enough to restaurants and the big store to be convenient yet far enough away from the crowds that you can actually enjoy yourself. We traveled with a large group this summer and enjoyed this house and location so much so that we have decided it will be our go to location even when it's only the 5 of us. I 10 out of 10 would recommend The Blue Footed Booby to anyone.

Family and Friends Get Away

Our family and friends had a wonderful time. The house is super spacious, and many amenities were unexpected. The Wi-Fi worked well, and most of the rooms had televisions. The kitchen was outfitted with pretty much everything. The porches, deck chairs, carport seating, and outdoor shower added to the square footage for our people. We will definitely go back again!

Lovely

Lovely location right on the beach. Quiet, breezy, restful, even though for a work meeting. House is pretty shaky in the wind, a little disconcerting. But super clean and perfect for our needs.

Moore stay

Great property! It’s like you have your own private beach. The company that manages the property could be a lot better. The woman that takes calls is extremely rude and needs to learn how to talk to people. The listing on VRBO is somewhat deceiving it doesn’t state a two animal limit. It just asks if you are traveling with pets.

Beautiful, clean and well stocked house right on the beach. It was a cold weekend but the house was cozy and it was so quite and peaceful. We enjoyed gathering shells on the beach with the kiddos, letting the dogs run around and watching all the different birds fly by. What a stunning view! Would rent again.

Fun family vacation!

Thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Blue Footed Booby! The house was clean and well equipped. They had everything we needed and the listing let us know we needed to bring beach stuff (towels, chairs and toys. Although there were a lot of beach toys left from other visitors). They were on fire when it came to replying to our messages! Super fast! The tv remote control was MIA and within 20 minutes a new one was delivered! Thank y’all so much!

Family vacation summer 2023

We had a very lovely stay at a beautiful home well-kept very clean very enjoyable. The communication was fantastic timely emails. The kids loved it. The grandkids had a blast and us grandparents really enjoyed the family time in that home and the view was phenomenal. Great access to the beach. Will consider coming back again.

2023 Summer Vacation

The house and property were very nice. It was a little off the beaten path so not as packed on the beach as other houses we've stayed in on peninsula before which was nice with little ones. The only complaint anyone in our group really had was that the house definitely feels every little footstep and sways with you and we've stayed in swaying houses before but this one really does. :)

AWESOME!!

There are 17 people in our immediate family…7 adults and 10 kids, ages 15 through 3. We all had an amazing time. The house was "as advertised." It was beautiful inside and out. There were plenty of beds and everything had been thought out by our hosts. I cannot think of a single weakness. I was skeptical that the house could not look as good as the pictures, but I was totally wrong. If you are considering this house for your beach Vaca, do it!!! We are working on our dates for next year…we definitely would love to repeat!
