Elysian Beach Resort - it's All About the View

Our bright and cheerful condo has three distinct areas: 1) King bedroom; 2) Full kitchen/living/dining 3) Bedroom with two double beds. Each has a full bathroom, a furnished balcony with an AWESOME view, air conditioner, ceiling fan, cable TV, ironing board/iron, hairdryer, and Wi-Fi access.

To meet your individual needs, you may rent the entire condo or any combination of units. Need a smaller unit? Contact us for details on renting part of our condo.

Wyndham's Elysian Beach Resort is located on the east end of St. Thomas between the Ritz Carlton and the St. Thomas Yacht Club. The beautiful and well-maintained property is 8 miles from the airport and two miles from Red Hook.

For a peaceful and relaxing vacation you never have to leave the resort. Enjoy the beautifully-landscaped pool with waterfall and hot tub, or venture a few more steps to the clear-blue Caribbean and white-sandy beach....beach chairs, palm trees, beach volleyball and friendly iguanas all provided at no additional charge. Sandy's pool/beach bar is close by, and paddle boats, kayaks, windsurfers, floats, and snorkel gear can be reasonably rented at The Beach Hut.

Two restaurants are on-site for dining and entertainment - Sangria's for casual food on the beach deck, and the Caribbean Fish Market for fine food in a casual elegant setting with beach view.

If time permits, spend the day at beautiful Magens Bay, or view the cruise ships and shop 'til you drop in Charlotte Amalie, Havensight, and Yacht Haven Grande, or catch a ferry to near by St. John or the British Virgin Islands from the dock in Red Hook.

Great place to stay for my daughter's wedding

We stayed on the resort, which is where the wedding was. We had a great stay. Gary (the host) was very communicative. I love to run and snorkel and he gave me some great suggestions.The place was clean and well stocked. It had everything we needed for our 5 day stay.The view was great. And we walked right down to the beach.Couldn't ask for more. Can't wait to come back.

lots of pluses and a few minuses

We (my 82 year old husband, my adult son, daughter, and 19 month old grandson) at the Elysian Resort for a week in early January of 2025. Pluses: so clean; quiet enough (with the exception of our 19 month old grandson) for a fussy person like myself; sliding screen doors in each room, a feature, in my experience, that is really difficult to find; 3 bathrooms; a gorgeous view of the sky especially in the early morning as the light and clouds are playing off each other; as the photos depict, a lovely albeit limited view of the sea; responsive property manager; enjoyable walk to the beach down many steps although you could walk or drive down the road; nearby town (Red Hook) to get really good coffee (Lattes in Paradise), to shop (Moes is impressive for its inventory, the quality of its products and its high prices. There are other options.) or to take the ferry to other islands; a good enough beach with other toddlers for our grandson to play with and friendly fellow guests; a really good restaurant within the condominium complex (Caribbean Fish Market).Minuses: a large condominium complex with lots of hardscape; during our stay the AC stopped functioning in one of the rooms and because it was over the weekend and Monday was a holiday, it took a while to get it fixed.

Great pre-Christmas vacation

Had an excellent stay in St Thomas. The condo is conveniently located near Red Hook - great for dining, bars, shopping and access to boats if you want to explore other islands. We took the car ferry to St. john and did a boat trip to the BVIs. Great restaurants on site.

The place was very clean. The kitchen had everything you needed and was well organized. The property manager was extremely helpful and kind. He got back to me right away each time. The view was beautiful!

Family trip with college kids

The property was perfect for our family traveling with college kids. It was close to beaches, restaurants and we utilized the car ferry to go over to St. john. The condo was clean and plenty of bathrooms.

Nice place - wonderful property manager

The place is nice - three units that have been merged into one larger unit. We had a chance to visit some other units at the Elysian while there, and I would say that this one was nice, but not as fancy, or updated, perhaps, as others in the complex. There are a lot of steps and ups and downs at the Elysian - something to consider for those who may have mobility issues. The area of the island where this complex is located is a bit isolated - near the town of Red Hook, but nothing really within walking distance (especially given the narrow roads). If you are looking for more external activity and restaurants or shops to walk to, you may want to chose some place else on the island. Glenn, the property manager was amazing. Shortly after making the reservation he contacted us to see what questions we may have, and how he could help. While in St. Thomas he was always very responsive and proactively reached out to us when the complex lost power for a short period of time.

Great location, awesome host!

Great location with an easy, 2 minute, walk down to the beach and 2 beachfront restaurant. The check-in process was simple, rental was perfectly cleaned, and communication from the owner was nothing short of a 10/10 experience. Would definitely return!

We had a lovely time here. Glenn was in touch immediately after my inquiry and several times after. The rental was impeccably clean and the property had everything we needed. Sangrias is the casual restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Caribbean Fish for brunch and dinner. Everyone was very nice, the pool and beach were beautiful, and not at all crowded. Parasailing at Sapphire a few minutes away. Food Market and ferry to St John the same. Would definitely stay again. Thanks, Glenn!

Awesome time at Elysian Resort!

Was a great location and convenient for everything we wanted to do! Easy to get to Redhook and over to St. John on the ferry. The restaurant on the property was excellent and you can book reservations via Open Table. Glenn was very helpful when we had questions. Looking forward to coming back in the future!

Perfect stay

Wonderful Vacation Destination

We were extremely pleased with all the details of our stay! Glenn was very prompt with all communication, Keith (our driver) was amazing, and the property itself far exceeded our expectations for cleanliness and location. Nice vacation stay

We had an amazing time in St. Thomas. The condo was clean and spacious for our party of 5. Glenn was super nice and explained everything prior to our arrival. Check in was a breeze. The staff at the resort were very nice and helpful. It's a short taxi drive to Red Hook- a must see while you're there. The condo had all the necessities that you would need and you can't beat the close proximity to the beach. We really had an awesome time and will definitely visit again. Thanks Glenn.

Amazing stay at Elysian

Everything was great! The apartment is beautiful, even nicer than the pictures. It has everything you need for your getaway and more. We were four people and having three bathrooms was an incredible perk. Loved everything. Greg was super responsive and helpful and that made our stay even better. Thanks Greg!

Great stay

The 2 bedroom was perfect for our group. The property was very clean. Glen couldnt have been nicer. Location is very close to Red Hook. Always felt safe. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful Stay

This condo was very well located in Red Hook. Transportation around the island was very easy and convenient. Our condo was the perfect size for a family of five and very clean.
