Overall, we had a decent stay. The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with several restaurants and stores nearby, and it was about a 30-minute drive to Spooky Nook, which was convenient for our tournament.That said, the cleanliness could definitely be improved. The baseboards throughout the house were noticeably dusty, and we encountered several beetles inside during our stay. It also would have been helpful to know that landscapers were scheduled to arrive early Saturday morning. They showed up unexpectedly and the noise woke everyone in our group.While the location worked well for our needs and the home was generally comfortable, paying a bit more attention to cleaning and providing advance notice of scheduled maintenance would make for a much better guest experience.

Thank you for the feedback, Marco! I sincerely apologize for the landscape person showing up Saturday morning. I have talked to them and all future lawn mowing will be scheduled in the afternoon. I also noted your comments about beetles and dust. I have taken care of these issues to ensure future guest will have a nicer experience!

Nice house and a great location close to our project location. Check in/check out went well. Dishwasher broke while we were there and over had it replaced fairly quickly but the appliance install crew was not the best. Communication with host was good until halfway through the trip and then they disappeared and stopped communicating.

It is true, the dishwater stopped working and I immediately puchased a new dishwasher as the guests said it was important to them - I was texting Mike the entire time but he somehow didn't get any of my messages the last day - it was strange. Home Depot normally does a good job installing appliances - but Mike said they were rushing and didn't know how to install it 😥

Nice new home

It’s a fairly new home with comfortable furnishings. When we arrived it was “tidy” but dirty. The floors and bathrooms were filthy and there were piles of garbage bags by the street that were broken open and scattered. The trash can up by the house was overflowing, and there were broken kids toys and bicycles laying in the driveway and yard. The owner called us shortly after we arrived and said the cleaning crew was a no show before we arrived but there would be a crew there btwn 12-1 the following day. We were ok with that… stuff happens. But, the following day was also a no show from the “cleaning crew” (This is a pet friendly rental and we had a small dog so we had to arrange our schedule to make sure we were there when cleaning crew arrived) The owner called again later that day and apologized and said the cleaning crew could be there btwn 8:30-9 the next day (day 3 of our 5 day stay). A cleaning crew did arrive on day 3, they were there 3 hours and did a great job cleaning the property. So… it was a nice house but under the circumstances was our worst ever experience with VRBO.
