We had such a wonderful time at Krista's beautiful home! The surrounding area was beautiful and the house was just the most delicious nest for our time together. All bedrooms are well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you need. Plenty of towels. And the comfy sectional and big TV offered some much needed down time in the house for us. Thoughtful details. Do not hesitate to rent this home.

Honestly everything you could need, especially if traveling with little kids. Loved the toys provided! House was clean, safe, and spacious. Couldnā€™t ask for a more relaxing stay.

Beautiful, comfortable and a great base to explore the Berkshires

A lot of thought has gone into making this a beautiful and comfortable place to stay - from the gorgeous finishes, plush linens and the detailed and helpful welcome book. The neighbourhood is quiet and leafy and a short drive to cafes, shops and sights.

Cutest house!

Renter this cute house for winter break with my family. The kids room was perfect and even had a couple little toys for my littlest to play with. Kitchen was very well stocked and everything was clean and well organized. The beds were so comfortable which is hard to find in a rental. Would definitely recommend this house if traveling to the area!

Lovely getaway

My family stayed for several days over Thanksgiving. The house was very well appointed with everything could need. There were numerous trails close by and we enjoyed hiking. Downtown Great Barrington is less than a 15 minute drive.

Perfectly located for Berkshire exploring

The house is perfectly nestled between Great Barrington and Lenox. Itā€™s a great location for exploring towns and hiking in nearby Kennedy Park or the Pleasant Valley Sanctuary. The house itself worked great for our family. The rooms are spacious, the finishes are beautiful, the thoughtful inclusions of kids toys and books was really impressive. The kitchen was fully stocked and beautiful. The front sun porch was a relaxing retreat after a day of adventures. Tony was responsive and accommodating. Overall pleasant experience.

Perfect for the Berkshires

The house was really clean and recently decorated. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and had just about anything needed. It was also helpful to be left some of the basics like sugar, salt etc. The description and photos on the site were accurate and we weren't disappointed. The neighborhood had some run down houses but the location was great for visiting Stockbridge and Great Barrington. We had no problems so didn't need to contact the owners but when I reached out a week before we arrived, they responded promptly. An ideal rental for a family or a few friends. Thanks.

More Pros than Cons

First the good...This property was exactly as advertised in the pictures, was extremely clean, kitchen was well stocked with everything from pots, pans, cookie sheets and oils and spices. Dining table for eight, roomy place to hang out and watch TV, nice sun porch, only 10 minutes from Great Barrington, which has lots of great restaurants and shops. Now the not so good...mattresses and pillows were VERY firm and uncomfortable, bedrooms were much smaller than anticipated, leaving very little room to walk around the beds. Main bathroom was very small, especially the sink. It wasn't much of an issue for my husband and myself, but I can't imagine three couples sharing it. Although there is a second bath off the kitchen, it is only a half bath. Also, they advertised a place to sit outside in the backyard, but we found the cushions full of mold and mildew so that was out. Despite these issues, I would have to say there were definitely more pros than cons.

Holiday Week Family Fun Getaway

We (two adults/two kids 7,11) spent a week here over the December holiday break. The property was easy to get to, good location and convenient to Great Barrington (10 min), Skiing at Bousquot (25), Lenox (15-20) and the surrounding areas. You are super close to our favorite - Berkshire Mountain Bakery (2 min), and also can walk to Pleasant and Main as well as to Extra Special Tea Housatonic for food and to mix it up a bit. The house was very clean (and I can not emphasize this enough as I have stayed at a lot of houses and this was probably the cleanest and most organized by far) and the downstairs was comfortable and open for us to winter snuggle, watch tv/movies, cook and hang out. They even supplied sleds so the kids could go sledding by the playground hill which you can also walk to if you want. Few things to note, the upstairs is a little small cramped for the four of us. Really the one bedroom that my husband and I stayed in just felt a little tight with the one dresser in the closet and the move around space. Also in terms of hang out space you have the first floor kitchen/dining/tv area but no additional space so depending on size of party and needs you might feel tight. Also the house was sparse on supplies (which I prefer since you never know how long something is there) but if you are going to cook a lot there are some basic spices, but bring olive oil, hot chocolate, and other things you might want as a staple for your time and season. This is all being a bit in the weeds as we had a wonderful time and the house certainly met our needs for the week. Thank you for an easy getaway with no concerns, issues or worries. It was a nice reprieve.

Review, Nice House

Property is wonderful, fully stocked and wonderfully remodeled. There is a water issue in the area that was not disclosed to us until the day before we got there. We did receive bottled water to drink, but the brown water was disconcerting when showering and washing clothes. Would have preferred two bathrooms both be near the bedrooms. We would stay there again with resolution of the water issue.

Perfect Berkshires Getaway

This house was exactly as advertised and so lovely! It was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for the perfect weekend. It was only a few minutes to downtown Great Barrington. The owners had a welcome packet available for us and a bottle of wine and sparkling water. That was such a nice touch and greatly appreciated. Wonderful Stay

Attractively furnished, well equipped, comfortable living spaces. Outdoor space small and unpleasant. Sun porch has no operable windows and is useless in hot weather. Beds comfortable. Only complete bathroom too small for comfortable use: sink half size. No place to hang wet towels No operating manuals for any equipment including TVs. Ownerā€™s rep very responsive and helpful. Ownerā€™s welcome package of fruit and wine a gracious touch. Housatonic water supply runs discolored and tastes metallic.
