COZY LOFT w/ PRIVATE BEACH ON GORGEOUS MOUNTAIN LAKE IN THE BERKSHIRES

The LOFT is a unique private large 690 s.f. modern cabin like structure with great forest and garden views and access to our own private beach on this clean beautiful mountain lake, GOOSE POND. The area is spectacular.
LOCATION
The loft/lake are a short drive from Exit 10 of MA Pike in a countryside lake setting, near all of the cultural offerings that the BERKSHIRES has to offer: Tanglewood, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Shakespear and Co., Norman Rockwell Museum, Jacob's Pillow, Naumkeg, Kripalu, just to mention a few. Fantastic boutique shopping and great cafes are pleasant destinations in area towns. Fall is beautiful here. There remains a lot to do too.
LOFT
The LOFT is a stand alone structure behind the owner's house.. It has a thoughtful, comfortable floor plan. All of our previous guests have commented that the Loft is much bigger than it appears in pictures, that it exceeded their expectations and is much more charming than any of the pictures depict it. There are designated areas in this open floor plan: bedroom area with a king bed, a kitchenette area equipped with small appliances and retro refrigerator, a dining area, a great living room area complete with a freestanding gas stove and a futon , a single bed situated privately in a raised alcove accessed by a 3'ship's ladder and a good sized bathroom with a generous sized shower. The Loft has an outdoor grill with a side burner on the large private back deck in the woods, internet, air conditioning and both the back deck and front deck are accessed by glass French Doors which let in all the light and brings the outdoors in.
LAKE
The walk down a tree lined path reveals a large flat lawn that borders the shorefront/beach of our beautiful lake.. There is a dock for hanging out in one of many zero gravity chairs or adirondil chairs, doing yoga with water surrounding you or fishing. Relax on the lawn in one of our unique Steamer Chairs. The swimming in this gorgeous, clean lake from our sandy beach is beyond compare. Kayak (5 available for use along with vests), take in the scenery and watch for the eagles and great blue herons at owners' private lakefront on Goose Pond, a large very clean and beautiful 270 acre lake of which the majority is in preservation. There are bocci and cornhole as well as indoor games.
HIKING
Hike around the top end of the upper lake or into the infamous Tyringham Valley on the nearby Appalachian Trail. There are many hiking opportunities surrounding us.

There are many great restaurants in the area.

This IS the quintessential vacation experience!!

INCREDIBLE IN FALL AND...
The early summer and fall are also perfect times to visit the Loft and the Berkshires in general. The area is quieter and the scenery is spectacular. Fall foliage on the lake is something not to be misted and the free standing gas stove makes the evenings in the Loft cozy and contributes to a warm and inviting atmosphere. Cultural opportunities are offered year long. Come and enjoy!
