Beautiful cabin on the river!

My boyfriend and I had so much fun at this cabin on the river. The views are amazing. The hot tub was so nice overlooking the river. The king bed was super nice. The neighbor is super close but didn't bother us at all. Such a nice, romantic getaway!

Wonderful place to stay

My family stayed here for a week while some of us attended classes at the John C. Campbell Folk School. The property is very close to the school and easy to get to. The house was very comfortable for our family. One bedroom is upstairs and two are downstairs. There are two large covered patios with views of the river which provided us with a lot of entertainment. The kitchen is well equipped and the property manager was always available for questions (and I had a lot). It was very quiet and we saw lots of wildlife.

Perfect getaway for John C Campbell Folk art School

Great place on the river. The river was a little deep for kids to swim. The hot tub was wonderful!! The house was in a great location.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place! The views and hot tub were amazing! Tara was extremely friendly and responsive with any questions we had! We stayed 6 nights during Christmas 2023 and did not want to leave!

All the mountain cabin perks!

We stayed for a weekend with my in-laws and 7yr old. The view of the river and surrounding mountain top is lovely. We tried fishing, used the hot tub, bbq-ed, sat at the fire pit, used the kitchen for preparing meals. Cabin is cozy, two nice balconies, long staircase to the river with nice seating area. Everyone enjoyed their time there. Weā€™d stay again and hopefully for longer!

Beautiful and peaceful!

We celebrated Thanksgiving with our family. The property was perfect for our family of four. Very clean with a well stocked kitchen, beautiful decks and views. It is located conveniently close to Murphy. The property manager was great.

The Perfect NC Mountain Vacation Spot!

My family of 5 (hubby and kids) take an annual trip to the NC Mountains and our main purpose is finding the best river/creek for trout fishing. We've never fished/stayed on the Hiawassee and this place was PERFECT! The river was right out the back door and the deck access was high and long but equipped with TWO landing decks for resting and relaxing before reaching the bottom at the river's edge. I was impressed with the benches and rocking chairs on each landing. Both decks (1st and second floor) had ample sitting and was very clean. The hot tub is the second (bottom) deck right outside of the king BR and Bunk BR doors. The bedroom on the first (top) floor was the largest and also with a king bed. The bathroom on 1st floor has the whirlpool tub and is amazing. The whole home is immaculate and decorated nicely with the stained glass mixed with some type of animal horns, mountain lion skin mounted on a wall, and beautiful paintings by someone M. Scott. My husband was intrigued by the paintings. The bathrooms are well stocked and the kitchen well stocked, too. The open floor plan made family time special and close together for eating and watching tv. There is a neighbor next door on one side but the situation of the homes gives privacy. As for fishing - my 9 year old son caught a 5.77lb, 23inch long rainbow trout on the first night!!! I kid you not! I have pictures. I think we'll stay again if they'll have us! I recommend!

The cabin is in a great location on the river, no steep drives, very clean, comfortable beds, and well furnished. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the river and fire pit, the area feels secluded and is very quiet. A short drive into Murphy brought us to restaurants and antique shops. We also visited the Nottely Vineyard and the Hiawassee Dam which had beautiful views. We will definitely be back!

My employee and I had a job to do for a week in Murphy. We felt comfortable and at home and had our own space rather than being in a hotel. The environment of this home felt like home....
