We enjoyed this property for our stay. The kitchen was not very well stocked, yet we made due with what we had. It was secluded and the hot tub was nice. The beds were comfortable and there was an abundant supply of hot water. There could be some updates done on the property, yet we did enjoy our stay at the cabin.

This is a log cabin. Verry nice. We stayed in the summer but you will need AWD or 4x4 if snow on the ground.

Very nice property. Quite and relaxing yet close to Stanton if you needed anything.Wasn’t very maintained as far as the landscaping goes. Not enough seating outside. Also only had one pool stick for playing pool. Card table only had 2 seats. Drain in upstairs bathroom was very slow to drain.Other than those issues this is a very nice cabin. I would stay again.

The house was in a wonderful location for Red River Gorge hiking options. We so appreciated the cleanliness of the home. The only thing we had an issue with was not enough silverware . Other than that inconvenience the rental was wonderful. Wild turkeys and fox wander the neighborhood.

The location was great. We really enjoyed the house and front porch but it could use a good cleaning. Also hand and dish soap was to be a starter but just had a trace of soap, Maybe 3 pumps. Also only one hand towel for the kitchen so we had to go buy. One last thing the feels like heat outside was 100-105 degrees while we were there and sleeping at night was hot for the couple in the loft. We weren’t suppose to change the thermostat so didn’t.

The cabin was beautiful and just like the pictures show. The location is very peaceful and the cabin was clean and well prepared for our stay. I would definitely recommend and go again!

We appreciated the location of the cabin. It is close to the Res River Gorge and all the spots we wanted to explore. The beds were comfortable and the space was cozy.

We had a great stay! We needed a few days away from home and this was a perfect location to relax. The cabin is beautiful would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet location away.

Hot tub was nice, but they need to keep the floater loaded with shock. There was only a dime size shock tablet in the floater. There are local dogs that like to visit. Two different evenings, two different dogs showed up at our dog and while in the hot tub. Cabin was spotless and beautiful. Cabin sits at end of the road, which was nice and secluded. There was no hair dryer, so pack your own. Beds were super comfortable and clean. Each bedroom had a ceiling fan, which was wonderful. We had a great time at this cabin and did not want to leave

Eastern Kentucky didnt disappoint. We hiked to many of the arch formations in the area - photos cant convey the size and beauty of the area. The only disappointment in the area was that water levels in the river were low and that ruled out kayaking.What did disappoint was the rental unit. We immediately noticed on our arrival a 2nd floor window was wide open with no screen - and that was just the beginning. Nothing says welcome to your home away from home that a face full of spiderweb as you are heading down the steps. Finally it was time to rest after a day of travel - I noticed the scent coming from somewhere, and woke up Monday with an itchy rash that came from the sheets. I decided to wash the sheets and discovered a scented laundry product on top of the dryer! that culprit was found. Everything about the unit is minimalistic - I think you get 3 spoons - so a group looking for family breakfast may be sharing a spoon or two. Looking to make a pitcher of tea - head to the Dollar Store and buy a pitcher. We did have a neighborhood fox that showed up - perhaps looking for the mouse that left droppings in the house. Trying to watch TV - bring a screen cleaner to remove all those handprints from it. We have rented the last 20 years from Western NC, Virginia, Tennessee, WV - all in about the same price range - and comparatively speaking, we got so much more at all of those rentals. Is there potential with this unit - yes. Quiet, secluded. But disappointing.
