Located adjacent to Natural Bridge State Park and near Red River Gorge, this spacious vacation home, with nostalgic charm and aged wood, comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests. My birthday/clogging trip with family.

There was a minor snafu at the beginning but it was rectified as soon as it was reported to the owner. The place was beautiful and comfortable. We plan on staying again next year as this is an annual tradition.

Perfect location for all of the things

This really is the perfect location to enjoy all that the Red River Gorge has to offer! The cabin is so unique and cozy…yet there is a ton of space. Our family LOVED our stay!

This a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. The issues we had were that it wasn't super kept up or clean. We did find a mouse but it is in the woods. However, we had to clean many things before we could use them and the cabin itself smelled musty. There are just some basic upgrades that would have made our stay much better. The owners were very responsive to us though and tried to help with anything we needed. That was encouraging.

Nice stay

The house was big enough for group of 7 people. It is 5 levels .It had everything we needed except filters for the coffee machine.We liked the large table in the kitchen and the barbecue on the terrace. The beds were comfortable.It was nice to come back to the quiet and cool villa after the long hikes , but maybe this nice place needs a refresh . The gravel road to the house is steep and uneven.

So beautiful

This cabin in the woods was beautiful! We loved being right in the gorge and close to so many amazing hikes, including a little right on sight. The house was definitely a cabin and had a little dust and spiders the first night but it cleaned up quickly. The driveway in was a little intimidating as well but the house was beautiful and so peaceful. The upstairs room never cooled down enough to really use and the tub took too long to fill but it was hot so we didn’t really mind. We loved the view and location! We would definitely return.

This property is exactly as described on the listing. Communication with the host was excellent. The location is within a short drive of all that Red River Gorge has to offer. The house provided great living space for four adults. Be aware that it is a four level home. Mobility and safety on stairs is required.

It was exactly what we needed for the three of us. Three bathrooms, three bedrooms plenty of relaxation space tucked away from everyone. Quiet and clean. Would rent again!

The Stairs are worth it

The house was beautiful, we had 3 separate families altogether, and we had so much space! We were most excited about hiking, but using the Jacuzzi tub wasn’t an option due to water issues. The shower/tub on the main floor by back door sis not have any water flow. We all had to resort to the top level shower, which was an inconvenience to some members of the family. Overall, the stay was amazing and we enjoyed all the time we spent together, eating, laughing and playing with the kids and dogs.

Nice Cabin in the Woods

Our family enjoyed our stay in this tri- level cabin. The front deck was great for family meals and conversation. There were plenty of beds and the kitchen was adequate for our needs. The road leading to the cabin would likely be difficult for a low clearance vehicle.

A beautiful retreat

We really enjoyed our stay! The one thing I would suggest for visitors is to have a car with 4wd and good clearance. The road is not in great condition due to all the snow, ice, and now mud. The ruts and holes are deep and would not be safe to navigate with 2wd.

Cozy, roomy cabin

The cabin and surroundings are beautiful! My brother and I, our spouses, and our adult children gathered for a few days for Thanksgiving. We loved the roomy kitchen that overlooks the family room. The rock face behind the cabin is amazing. And, we spent one afternoon hiking to the Natural Bridge, just a short drive away. We hope to come back and stay again in the future.

Great Cabin for a Friends and Fam

This cabin is spacious and clean, has wonderful views and decks, and enough separate rooms and beds that you can get a small band of friends together pretty easily. We use it as a home base for climbing and it’s well located for that. When the weather is colder, it’s nice to comeback somewhere comfy and warm instead of roughing it out in a tent!

Perfect for our group

We had a couple non-climbers and dog, plus four climbers. None of us had done our research in advance to decide which area we wanted to climb or hike in so we loved being central and just picking something different (yet close by) every day! Really appreciated the big communal kitchen for gathering, and cozy living room below. Nice thermostat and heating/cooling system is good. Porch views in evening are fantastic over the changing leaves and the sunset. I felt like I was in a treehouse sipping tea, sitting in a cozy chair while looking out living room window!

Much needed getaway

When we booked this property we were excited and expected a beautiful home and view, but the pictures honestly do not do it justice! It’s on a very secluded road with a few other cabins, but you would never know it, which I LOVED! You can literally walk out on the back porch upstairs and reach out and touch the mountain side. So gorgeous!! They also were happy to host our entire family, including our 120 lb Great Pyrenees. We absolutely loved that it was pet friendly. There was so much room to accommodate all of us and plenty of extra towels and bedding in case we needed it. I asked if we could show up a couple hours early for check in so we could get set up and do some grocery shopping, Corrie was gracious enough to make the home available early. We had a couple questions about things throughout our stay and Corrie was SO responsive! Definitely the best host that I have ever dealt with. This property was so beautiful and we plan to come back next fall to see the mountains in all their beauty!
