You will be staying in the mountains bordering the Sierra National Forest. Be aware of all wildlife (from small insects to mountain lions and bears) may live in our neighborhood, please do not approach or feed any wildlife. Poison oak can be plentiful in the area as well so please be aware of your surroundings when hiking the property and nearby trails.

Car is recommended to fully enjoy the area.

⭑ Important Notes: ⭑

✔ Staircases: The lodge features two staircases, including a very steep spiral staircase leading to the loft. For safety, we ask that guests supervise children carefully when using the stairs.



✔ Event Policy: Please note that we are NOT a party rental. However, we do welcome large groups for retreats (such as corporate, yoga, or wellness retreats) and special events (wedding receptions, etc.). Organizers must contact the owner for approval prior to booking, and a separate event venue rental fee will apply.



✔ Mountain Property Maintenance:



The property is located in the mountains and is supported by a septic system and a well water source.

We ask guests to acknowledge and understand the care required to maintain these essential features during their stay.

With the pristine forest around our property, you may occasionally encounter wildlife & insects. While we implement professional pest control, these critters are part of mountain living and may sometimes find their way in. If you notice any during your stay, please reach out to us & we'll address them promptly.

⭑ Winter Weather Advisory: ⭑

While snow is not constant in this area during winter, snowfall is not uncommon at our 2,500 ft elevation. We recommend that guests carry snow chains and monitor snow conditions in the nearby town of Oakhurst during their stay.



Please note that snow chains are required in Yosemite National Park during winter months, regardless of your vehicle type, so it’s best to come prepared to ensure a smooth and safe journey.
