Stunning waterfront property in gorgeous Safety Harbor Club. Enjoy breathtaking views and the best the island has to offer at CaptiVista! This completely renovated townhome boasts of island style rustic and luxurious upgrades throughout. CaptiVista is a peaceful escape at the end of a private road, making it one of the most secluded townhomes in Safety Harbor Club. The harbor views (or “vistas”) are unmatched and you’ll have water views from almost every room in the house.
Love sunrises? Enjoy a cup of coffee from the balcony or living room and watch the sunrise directly across the water every morning!
This three bedroom, two bath home includes a king bed in the master, a king bed in the second bedroom and a double with a twin and a trundle in the loft.
Bring your own groceries and cook in our full kitchen featuring all electric LG stainless steel appliances or dine at one of four wonderful island restaurants. Enjoy a 5-star experience in your luxury inspired master bath, featuring a double vanity, Bluetooth featured ventilation fan with nightlight and music streaming capabilities two rain shower heads with handheld shower nozzles in a frameless all glass enclosure. Take one of three kayaks out using the launch just steps from your door or drive the golf cart (4-seater included in your rental) to our private beach access and search for shells, watch dolphins and enjoy an amazing snorkeling adventure.
Upper Captiva is a remote island adjacent to Captiva and Sanibel islands and is accessible only by boat, ferry or small aircraft.

Great View and location

Property recently renovated and decorated perfectly! Can't beat location at Safety Harbor. Ocean views from deck made for great mornings having coffee and dinner in the evenings. CaptiVista had everything we needed for vacation.

Beautiful townhouse and view!

My wife, adult son and I just spent a lovely week at this gorgeous and well appointed home. Comfy furniture and beds with a killer view, especially at dawn. Close to everything and the golf cart worked perfectly. Would come back again in a heartbeat!

Very Hospitable

Great location and the team was very responsive to all our questions and requests. We felt like we were in good hands. They even secured us a pie pan so we could make pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving!

Great Spot

I loved the location and views from the townhouse! It had everything we needed (and more). The kayaks and paddle board were a hit and easy to use since the launch area is right next to the house. The beach is beautiful and a quick golf cart ride away. We also did a fishing trip with Kaptain Kalani and lunch at Cabbage Key. Highly recommend!

Love this townhouse

Beautiful home, amazing view. Communication with owner and property management was great. Most communication was with management company but owner texted me a couple days into our trip to see how things were going. Loved that. Management company was wonderful too! The house had everything we needed plus some! The house had a very cozy, make yourself at home feel. We will definitely stay here again!!

Fantastic Stay

We loved our stay. There was an issue with the air conditioning but it was fixed immediately the next day. The hosts were very kind, responsive and accommodating. They helped make the process of staying here more easy and even threw in a few extras! Our kids loved this place as well. Pretty sure we had the best view of all the condos! Saw dolphins from our windows almost everyday and caught over 10 species of fish right off the dock! We loved everything about CaptiVista!

Absolute wonderful stay

The townhouse is beautiful. Love sitting on the screened balcony overlooking the bay. I had us booked from Sat-Sat, however, upon arrival I realized I had accidentally booked Sunday-Sat. Lucky for us the renters before us had checked out and Duncan with Tortuga Management and the JD, the homeowner, worked with us to get us in the townhome that afternoon. Was amazing service and we were so grateful! We have stayed on the Island many times before and every time is just as beautiful and wonderful as the last. Communication was top notch!! We stayed with friends and the townhouse was perfect for all of us! We will be back!

Wonderful trip to North Captiva!

CaptiVista is a great townhouse. Beautifully decorated, the master shower...wow!! We had everything we needed to hang at the beach: towels, chairs, coolers, umbrellas. Loved the golf cart!! The view was spectacular! Tortuga Properties did a great job taking care of us. Only thing I wish that we had would be binoculars to get a closer look at the dolphins and birds. The kayaks were put to use and the paddleboard. I was nervous about the different connections to get there, but it went smoothly. We used the grocery prestock, it worked out great , a little pricey, but worth it to us. We bought a bit too much food, though. I miss CaptiVista and North Captiva!!

Perfect Getaway

Although we were not able to stay in the rental, due to the delay of the completion of the remodel, the owners were amazing. Going above and beyond to secure us a place to stay, just a few doors down. Since they were also on the island, we were able to meet them. They gifted us a delicious bottle of wine. We did have the concierge do our grocery shopping and there was a bit of confusion with getting Gluten free snacks. JD and Leslie offered to pick up the items on the mainland and deliver to us on their return. Such a huge help! We enjoyed our stay and truly enjoyed meeting JD and Leslie. We are hoping to rent the remodeled townhouse on our next visit. Thank you to our amazing hosts, we truly enjoyed meeting you.

CaptiVista perfection!

We have been traveling to North Captiva since 2010 . This is the first time only my husband and I went and it had been a few years since we had been there. It was as magical as ever, if not even more so. Lesley’s and JD’s home is outstanding. This was the first time we stayed on the bay side The views are spectacular, especially from the screened porch. The home is beautifully decorated and superbly equipped. The kitchen had everything I needed. We had an issue with a closet door but it was repaired the next day. The house manager, Danny, was so responsive and helpful. The beds and pillows were perfection! We had three different couples visit us and each said the upstairs king bed was so comfortable too, plus the morning view was incomparable. Thanks to JD and Lesley for sharing their beautiful home with us. We will be back.

Two weeks in paradise

This trip was nothing short of spectacular. The house, island, and experience was everything it was built up to be. We rented a boat for the duration of our stay, which made it easier to travel around to many different locations, beaches, and fish areas around. The one negative of the island is the fact that there is no grocery nearby. We did the preorder and stock of the groceries ahead of time, and with all the fees our groceries ended up almost triple the price. Just need to plan ahead better for bringing our food over on the boat ourselves. We will definitely be back!

Family vacation

We came here to relax and get away! This place did just that! We had no plans and agenda. We did nothing but hit the beach and pool. Cruised around in our golf carts taking tons of beautiful pictures! Saw dolphins, manatee, and turtle nests!! We made so many memories! We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back!! Thank you!!!!!

Great family vacation rental property

The house is everything as advertised. The extra amenities the owners provide like the kayak and beach supplies are a huge plus. The house has been remodeled and looks and feels new. The island has great beaches and access to them. You can go fishing right off the docks in front of the property. Getting to the island with supplies was really easy with pine island taxi and island girl charters. Just plan wisely because supplies are hard to come by on the island. The house is well stocked for all cooking needs and the owners were very helpful with any questions we had. Would definitely stay at the house again

Wake up to gorgeous sunrises of the harbor, launch a kayak just steps from the front door, go fishing, take a stroll to the preserve to experience some of the best nature in the area and dine at one of three restaurants on island….all in one trip!

This island is one of the last largely untouched islands in FL. It’s peaceful, quiet, beautiful and over 60% dedicated as a nature preserve. The view and location of this townhome are unmatched anywhere else on this part of the island. Enjoy what we call rustic elegance. Fully renovated and updated interior in 2022 with constant upgrades. All new hurricane resistant windows and doors in 2024. New amenities added often, including a tankless water heater to ensure all showers/baths can be used at once. If you’re into fishing this is your spot. Bring your gear, rent some from Boats and Fun or book a charter. If you love to collect shells, you’ve found the right place! Every part of the four mile long beach gives opportunity to find huge, small and rare shells. Our beaches change often and so do the currents and sandbars. It’s really amazing to live in such a nature driven environment!
