Outstanding Place in Great Beach Town

This is a brand new condo a block off the beach. There are spectacular ocean views from the roof top pool and equally spectacular views of the Mayan jungle looking inland. Daryl the owner made our stay seamless and answered many questions for us. We plan to return in a couple of months and will stay at this gem again.

Enjoyed out stay and have booked for next year.

Enjoyed our stay very much. We have already booked it for next year (2025). Only comment is that the unit could use a good deep cleaning and an update on the towels and linens and bedding. Also it would be nice if there were drapes or blinds in the bedroom. Outdoor furniture is OK but not all that comfortable. The pool was very nice and we enjoyed it daily. Thank you for the stay and we look forward to staying in Puerto Morales next year.

Happy Happy Happy

First time booking through Vrbo and it won’t be our last. Our host Daryl or as I would like to call him our silent Ninja was absolutely wonderful… He was so prompt and helpful with any questions we asked. His recommendation of restaurants and transportation was greatly appreciated…. Our experience was more than we could have ever hoped for and the write up on the property was very accurate….❤️❤️❤️ we would definitely use this property again.

Everything was as advertised here. Communication with the host before our trip was also excellent. Great location -- walking distance to everything & very easy access to the building, bars, groceries, etc. The water in the shower could have been much warmer, a small microwave would have been nice to heat up to go food, and more than 2 small towels would have also been nice, but all in all, this was a convenient, clean place to stay. It was just as described when we booked. Thank you!

Easy self check in. Host is responsive. Cold A/C. Fast internet. 360 rooftop views. Balcony faces North - in the shade - great birdwatching. Squeaky clean. Grocery store only a few blocks away. Large fridge.

Could be better

This is a newer condo that has potential to be better if the host had a bit more interest in his investment. I have stayed and enjoyed better accomodations in Puerto Morelos. This condo is lacking some amenities which I have become accustomed to when staying at other locations such as a microwave and drinking water. I was really not impressed with the views and location. Sorry to say but this unit was not worth the price that we paid.

Nice place to stay

It's small but comfortable. I loved how stuff like beach towels and masks / snorkels were available. Even a couple of straw hats that someone didn't want to fly home. I thought the floor-to-ceiling sliding glass door to the balcony was great..... my wife pointed out that there was no curtain (or any window treatment anywhere) and that kind of killed the romance for our stay. I even thought about getting some tape at the Chedraui and rigging up some towels or something just for some privacy.

Surrounded by construction of tall condos very loud. Nice condo though

The property was clean modern and the bed was comfortable. The roof top pool had good views but it was so loud with all the construction we didn’t use it much. No beach access you must walk to center but it’s not far. We lost water for several hours on three different days. I wish the listing had been upfront about all the construction it wasn’t mentioned

Underneath the standards of Puerto Morelos

Here is the message I left the owner when we left the apartment - I finally was refunded the 2 nights he owed me after filing a complaint to VRBO and I still have no new of the refund I ask for the inconvenience... Message to the owner: Hi, we left early pm after cleaning. Honestly I’m disappointed of my experience as the place was not as described. A brand new construction isn’t supposed to have a none functional bathroom, wobbly faucets both bathroom and kitchen, very poorly equipped, especially in the kitchen. Although the bed is confortable, the sheets are stained. Your front neighbours and others have all the amenities to satisfied visitors. I’ve been in PT several times at different rentals ex) Abbey del sol and others that made me come back and refer to acquaintances. The price of your rental doesn’t meet expectations and description. I only had a 5 day vacation with my sister after 8 years without a out of country vacation and 3 days out of 5 we had to use the kitchen sink… So forth, it’s my first experience asking for a 3 day-refund Sunday Monday and Tuesday.

Christmas in Paradise

We would definitely stay here again! The king bed, pillows and bedding were lovely. Air con in both rooms worked great. Shower provided a hot and steady flow of water. Our location on the back was nice and private and quiet overlooking the mangrove jungle. Though the common rooftop was where we loved to hang out the most: great pool, view, lounge area with THE comfiest couch and chairs; bbq and laundry worked perfectly. (The gym equipment was a bust however.) Shout out to Lucy for her tireless daily work at keeping common areas so spotless. Over a 25-day stay, our power went out twice, but Alex was on the scene very quickly in both instances and took care of it. Apparently, (only) our unit has a wiring issue on the ground floor only he can tweak. Lots of beach towels in the suite. Bring a curtain and some Command Hooks if you want a little more privacy in the bedroom and an ice tray if you like ice in your cocktails -- we do! There is no bottled water or housekeeping, but that may be something you can negotiate with your host prior to arriving. We flagged down a Cristol truck on our first morning and had two big bottles delivered on the spot. The fridge, stove, toaster oven, kettle and blender worked great. Overall, a wonderful experience. From casual chat around the pool, i think we had the best suite in the 16-unit condo. There is definitely some construction going on around us, but not that noisy or disruptive -- was a little entertaining, actually. Great location!
