Very clean and good location for a nice relaxing vacation. Friendly and very safe area . Nive rooms and very clean . Easy to talk to building manager. Close to beach and shopping. Plenty of places to eat and affordable prices

From checking in to checkout everything was seamless.Cleanliness was top notch,all appliances in good order.The team was very responsive to any requests and respectful of privacy. Looking forward to a repeat visit.Well equipped but missing wine glasses. The rooftop pool was a nice addition and great place to socialize with neighbors.

Fantastic apartment in a wonderful village

Overall fantastic stay in Puerto Morelos. The condo managers were great communicators and helpful for check in after hours as well as for any questions we had. The condo was immaculate, very clean and generally well stocked (beach towels, chairs and bags were very handy!) It would have been nice to have a small amount of laundry detergent and some cooking basics like oil and some spices. The listing did say there was a BBQ grill however there was not one which was too bad as we were planning on cooking with it. The building is very new and well maintained and secure. Beautiful rooftop terrace to enjoy poolside relaxation and a swim to cool off. Only con is that there is a lot of construction going on around the building so the construction noise was ongoing (didn't bother me too much but something to be aware of). The condo was close to the beach and to the main street with plenty of dining options. We will definitely be back :)

Le condo est très accueillant. Très bien situé: à seulement qq minutes de la plage et du centre de la ville. Puerto Morelos est resté typique et authentique. J'y retourne l'an prochain pour au moins 10 jours ou 14 jours.

Absolutely nothing to complain about!The only point worth working on was the requirement to sign a rental agreement. I don't have to sign a rental agreement on Airbnb either. I found it bad that we were only given important information (access code, address, etc.) after repeated requests and at very short notice.

The presentation was first class with the team going to great lengths to leave a good impression. Comfy beds, good showers, quiet (didn't hear neighbours at all), and the pool is a bonus. I would note that the lift was out of action for our stay which didn't bother us at all but it's worth checking if you have mobility issues.

Excellent Place in Puerto Morelos to Stay

Found this property via VRBO, and took a chance based solely on reviews and the map. It is PERFECTLY located just a couple of short blocks from the beach, so its quiet at night and in a completely safe area. The condo has everything: safe, beach towels, beach chairs/umbrella, full kitchen, coffee/sugar, water cooler, toiletries, and each room (living room/kitchen, both bedrooms) has its own temperature controlled a/c. The rooftop pool was wonderful, and perfectly clean, with a fantastic view. The agency handling the rental for the owners was very, very quick to respond to all inquiries, and the check-in process was extremely easy with codes for the front date, and the unit itself. I will DEFINITELY stay here again in the future! Well done!

Great condo

We stayed for 4 nights and were so pleased with the condo. We would absolutely stay again. Everything was in working, clean, immaculate condition. Beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Especially loved the beautiful deck. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need during your stay and then some. Extra pool and shower towels were there upon arrival. Pool was beautiful and whole property felt safe. Just a couple minutes walk to town, beach, beach clubs, restaurants/bars and the grocery store. We plan to be back soon, thank you Abbey Del Sol for such great stay!!

No Stress Vacation

It was our third time vacationing there and each time we rented through Abbey del Sol. The staff is awesome and the whole process very easy. This trip we stayed in Casa Alba, a two bedroom condo. It was exactly like the pictures online, everything was clean and in working order. The infinity pool on the roof was a nice alternative to the beach. The beach itself is only two short blocks away. The condo also provided beach chairs and umbrella which we found very useful. There are many restaurants to choose from with a decent selection and the food has been great in all the ones we have been to. We booked our transportation to and from the airport through Abbey del Sol with Ride Mexico, both drivers we had were excellent and bang on time. All in all an absolute no stress vacation.

Other than that the place was great - balcony eating table, stocked kitchen, free water, washing machine and drying rack, beach umbrella. It's rural Mexico right next to a mangrove forest so expect iguana's near the balcony and the odd cucaracha in the bathroom but if you keep the drain covered with the provided plug, you should be good.

Nice place.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Alba. Clean, safe, convenient. Set up well with good kitchen ware. Nice beach chairs and towels. (Wish there was some snorkel gear). Nice keyless entry worked well. Roof top pool was excellent to cool down every afternoon. Nice place to visit with neighbors. Though we often had it to ourselves.

We booked a shuttle from the airport, arrived without issue, and found a beautiful and comfortable apartment steps from the beach. We were able to cook some and eat out at the amazing restaurants nearby. I'm already planning my return trip.

Location, location, Location

This property is new with quality furniture and amenities. The location was our favorite so far after visiting Puerto many times. The condo is nestled at the end of a quiet street in the mangroves with a true tropical feeling and the other end of the street is the beach. Yep a great place in the world.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The interior of the condo is in new, very clean condition. However, there was no place to eat except at a small counter. Our biggest disappointment with this rental was the outdoor space. Unlike the add photos depict, the pool is so small. About 3 ft deep and maybe 12 or so ft long. It is on the roof where there are a few very hard loungers with no cushions or shade. Would typically use the outdoor space daily when on a tropical vacation. Even the balcony was so narrow with no shade umbrella or other for of shade, not very user friendly. With no really usable outdoor space, would not recommend this unit.Abbey del Sol is a great company to work with, but would recommend staying at their main property but not Casa Alba.

A Great Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I had a great stay beginning in late October, it was the perfect size for a couple. The second bedroom is a bit small but would be just fine for kids. A second couple may find it a bit cramped. The property is exactly as pictured and perfectly clean upon arrival. The rooftop is nice with a nice view in all directions. The building security staff is always available 24/7. The unit is 3 blocks to the beach and about a 10 minute stroll to the town square.The only minor complaint is that although this is a new building, both showers were almost unusable due to clogged shower heads. The water in this area is very hard so it's understandable. Having reported this to the rental firm upon our departure, I have no doubt this has been remedied.A garrfon of fresh water was provided, as was a replacement when we ran out. The rental office cheerfully delivered another with a couple hours.The neighborhood is very quiet yet an easy walk to many bars, restaurants, and grocery shopping.We can't wait to stay again, assuming those shower heads are replaced!
