Located on the ocean side of Coastal Highway in Bethany Beach, this modern single-level condo offers great views of the ocean. The kitchen and bathrooms have been recently updated. Guests will enjoy the living, dining, and kitchen areas and the home's three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and balcony. Sea Colony offers indoor and outdoor swimming pools and tennis courts, a trolley, and numerous fun activities. Take advantage of the nearby beach, boardwalk, and downtown Bethany Beach, and sample food from the many restaurants. Annapolis and Brandywine buildings offer outside grills in a grassy area outside of the building.

Good location good price

The price was good but the home definitely feels like a rental home with lots of wear and tear throughout. Many of the doors, including the balcony do not open properly. The window shades are essentially non functional. The beds were good and the location was good. I would consider this unit again if the price was considerably less than the competition

Great Location - But condo in need of deep clean and updates

Although we have visited Sea Colony at least 5 times in the past few years, and love the location and amenities and the responsiveness of Vacasa Staff, this condo did not meet the expectations nor standards that we are used to when renting. We rented for 4 weeks beginning Memorial Day weekend and assumed this may have been the first rental of the season. The condo is in need of a deep cleaning and some upgrades which could turn this 1-star into a 5-star rating. The kitchen is nice and updated along with the one bathroom. The beds were comfortable but unfortunately that is the only positive comments I have. The living room furniture was uncomfortable, and we sat on beach chairs during most of our stay. I'm not going to list all of the items that I believe need addressed for others to enjoy their stay, but Vacasa was and has been made aware of our concerns as I know they typically have high standards.

Harbor House 812

The place was very nice and had room for all of our family. There were no shades in the living room so the kids on the pull out couch were up with the sun. There is rust on the front of the fridge but the inside was clean. I would stay here again. The location was close to the pool and ocean. The distance from the elevator to the place was far. We were not expecting the distance and it did cause a problem for my walking impaired mother. The power cord to the TV box was missing in the master. We reported it but it was never taken care of. We also reported the master shower not draining. We reported it, but after the third day of showering with ankle deep water, my husband just plunged it himself.

Needs updating

The fridge had rust on I️t, the bedroom door scraped the floor and the sliding glass door was extremely hard to open. We were there for literally 36 hours and was told we had to pay $15 per person ( we had 5) for amenities - and our pool was closed for the season. Which leads me to the question- what was the $75 for then? I felt like I was stepping back to the 1980’s when I was told I had to go pick up a key. I have not rented any thing in the past 10 years that I needed a key for. The cleaning crew showed up at our door at 9:30 when check out is 10:00! Very disappointed overall. I will not be renting any properties managed by Vacasa and I will be encouraging our friends not to also.

Would not rent this condo again

Although nicely decorated, there were basic maintenance issues that need to be addressed. The master bathroom toilet needed a heavy duty scrubbing under the rim, there was no toilet paper holder, a rack for hanging stuff on was pulled out of the wall and dangling, the kitchen sink had mold around the rim, there was a lightbulb out in the other bathroom. The Sliding door to the balcony was VERY HARD to open and close and the handle to get back in from the balcony was broken. Vacasa was made aware of these issues and they did respond by sending in a cleaning crew. That crew ONLY addressed the master bathroom toilet bowl issue!! Nothing else was addressed (note: we had cleaned the mold in the kitchen sink by ourselves before the cleaning crew showed up). Additionally, there must be something structurally wrong. The front door had a top hinge that was scraping and digging into the ceiling. One of the kitchen cabinets did the same thing. The doors to the 3rd bedroom/den scraped along the floor and, as previously mentioned, the sliding doors to balcony were EXTREMELY hard to open. Two young men struggled and had to leverage themselves against something in order to open and close it. Plus, one of the light fixtures in the hallway was dropping out of the ceiling. This was our 3rd year at Sea Colony and, by far, the worst unit we've stayed in. The previous units had a couple issues, but nothing as bad as this one. We would definitely rent again at Sea Colony via Vacasa,

Clean and comfortable as advertised.

We stayed here for a week with a family of 4. Overall it was a positive experience: Pros: * Room was very clean on arrival. Appliances are current and worked as intended. We didn't cook extensively, but we had no problem finding anything we needed for food preparation. * Comfortable sitting area and nice flat screen to enjoy movies after the sun goes down. * All bedrooms were very spacious and everyone was accommodated comfortably. * Very quiet * Nice selection of books Cons: * The only really significant con is that this room desperately needs some kind of curtain or shade on the main window leading out to the balcony. During sunrise, the streams directly into the room, and a poorly placed mirror ensures that even if you're not sitting in front of the window, you are blinded by it. Essentially, the front sitting room is nearly unusable from roughly 6:30a - 7:30a. These other items are nits - * Patio furniture consists of a small table and 2 chairs. Some more patio furniture would have been nice to have. * Some in our group missed using k-cups for their morning coffee. * Provided linens could have been better quality. The towels in particular left fuzzy artifact behind.
