With an open floor plan, skylights, and two inviting fireplaces—one gas and one wood-burning—this bright and spacious retreat sets the stage for a relaxing mountain getaway. The main level features two expansive living areas, one with a stunning floor-to-ceiling rock fireplace, ideal for cozy evenings.

The main floor boasts a bedroom with two en suite bathrooms for extra privacy and convenience, while the lower level offers a cozy TV room for downtime. Each bedroom is equipped with a ceiling fan for warm summer nights and comfortable beds to ensure a restful night’s sleep after a day of exploring.

Outside, the 1,000-square-foot wraparound deck invites you to enjoy outdoor dining or simply relax with family and friends. The screened porch provides a peaceful spot to listen to the sounds of nature, while the large kitchen is ready for you to prepare delicious meals. With both indoor and outdoor dining options, this home is perfect for gathering together and making memories in the mountains.

There are bears and foxes in the area. Please keep a close eye on dogs and do not allow them to run off their leashes.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Check on was a little confusing but we called VACASA and they assisted rogjt away. WIFI access was easy and house was clean inside Hot tub was clean and we had no issues, outside needs updates. Porch was unkept and 1 seat around the firepit did not suffice the 10 of us. Property was overall clean and nice other than what I memtionedI would suggest updating the furniture outside.

Quiet neighborhood on the mountain, but just a couple of miles from town. We enjoyed the firepit. Plenty of space for 3 generations. With large groups visiting, hot tub should get midweek maintenance, but that isn't offered. The house had some maintenance needs. The property manager told me that after addressing ice storm damage, these smaller issues were still awaiting attention. We saw evidence of mice, which is not unusual for a house in the country, but no other indoor wildlife. The 800 number wasn't very helpful, but the local office went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our stay.

The cabin on the inside was very nice wish the beds were bigger, however very clean and spacious. The outside grounds needed allot of attention the grass/weeds had not been cut. The so called fire pit was non existent! The screened in front porch was very nice however not cleaned or maintained. The gas fireplace downstairs did not work that had been mentioned before from a previous visitor

The property itself was nice however it lacked some very basic care. Screen doors broke and hanging on by a thread. Hot tub has a major leak and needs to be refilled every two days. Gas fire place did not work. Broken outlets, missing lamp shades, and cover plates. Septic system overflowed into house and know one seemed to care. After 8 hours and multiple calls I was finally able to speak with the property owner who imformed me he was aware of this reoccurring issue. I requested a refund but still have yet to hear anything.

Not nice

The place has potential sadly it doesn't come close with the neglect at every turn. Broken doors, broken hot tub, overflowing septic and the lack of cleanliness just to name a few. The worst part was the the lack of urgency after contacting vacasa of the overflowing septic into the finished basement. After several calls I waited 8 hours to hear back from the property manager. Another 2 hours until a plumber came and temporarily fixed what the property manager said was a known reoccurring problem. In the end we were left to clean up the sewage in the basement ourselves. No word back from anyone regarding this crap show.

Pretty cozy house, perfect for large groups

The cabin was pretty clean, it had enough room and space for 10 people and we have extra beds left. The kitchen is well equipped with all utensils and plates, bowls, pans, etc. It was overall great! Unfortunately we had bad weather and the couches and the grill got all wet since the wind blew the covers. Also, the grill was not cleaned by guest and it was left all dirty so we had to clean it just to find out it didn’t have gas.

A great stay in the woods.

The house is fairly secluded with lots of trees around. The home was nicely appointed, cozy and comfortable. Nice big rooms on three levels with a working fireplace in the family room. I would recommend this house and we would come back here in the future.

Great house for a family getaway

We loved the location and the number of sleeping options. The house was comfortable with outdoor and indoor areas to gather. There were 10 of us and we had plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishes. Plenty of pans for cooking. A nice large counter to work on. We were close to follow to Swallow Falls in Herington Manor. Grocery store was about 5 minutes away. There were restaurants close by.

Large but outdated.

We loved how big and spread out the house was. The hot tub was great, there was plenty of kitchen supplies. The house was just outdated compared to most rental properties we have stayed in. Overall it was a great house!

Just what we wanted!

We were all staying for a conference nearby and wanted a nice place to stay and save money from booking a hotel. It was the perfect place for our needs.

Perfect getaway

This home is absolutely amazing. Tons of space - it would be perfect for a bachelorette or girls weekend!! The setting is perfect - relaxing, peaceful and gorgeous. Nestled back in the woods a bit, with a jacuzzi on the back deck looking right into the trees, it was truly the getaway we needed. We will be back!

Relaxing get away with family

We enjoyed spending time on the covered porch, surrounded by trees! It was quiet and private and allowed us to spend time outside even when it was raining. The home was spacious and enabled us to spread out and have some quiet time if we needed it! The only disappointment was having Ruku. We were unable to view the hockey game playoffs. My only suggestion would be to extend the morning check out time. It was difficult to get everyone up and moving to be out in time for check out at 10am. For the amount of money we paid for our stay, we should have least had a checkout time at 11 AM. Otherwise, we were very pleased with our stay at this rental home! We will definitely rent this house again, and recommend it to others! Thanks so much for opening your beautiful home to us!

Shame on Vacasa

Everything the homeowner is responsible for was wonderful and as expected. There were plenty of beds, pillows, seating areas and a very well equipped kitchen. There is a beautiful patio with tables, chairs and a nice swing. The enjoyment of the property was significantly diminished because of Vacasa and its systems. They do not make a practice of cleaning before a rental so there was dust in the house but more importantly the patio and its furniture were filthy. For 24 hours we followed their ticket reporting process to no result. After escalating, we reached a local manager who would not promise that it would be cleaned. Eileen arrived on Saturday to clean (we checked in Wednesday). She was great. However, the unit lost water on Saturday at 8:00am and wasn’t fixed until 2:00pm. Vacasa didn’t even offer to bring or send a bottle of water. Imagine a house with 8-9 people getting ready for graduation and a big family lunch to follow with no showers, no flushing, no cooking and no washing dishes…. The local GM said he didn’t have the people to help. The only thing that did work was Eileen and her filing a repair report for the trash receptacle torn apart by the bear. I will be seeking a refund from Vacasa, not the owners. They did their part.

Fantastic for us!

This house was perfect for our group. The layout was great, very open and spacious. We liked the big bedrooms and there were plenty of bathrooms. The driveway was great for unloading and enough room for comfortable parking. The house was clean and it was nice having little extras like toilet paper, hand soap, dishwasher tabs and hair dryers in the bathrooms. There were lots of towels for each person. The accessibility of the hot tub was nice. Having the app was convenient and easy and the customer service was helpful and friendly. We already discussed staying in the same home next year!

Perfect for a family

Great and very big house. It was just 2 of us for a long weekend but it would be ideal for a large family in the warm months when you could also take advantage of all Deep Creek Lake seems to offer in the summer.

Beautiful home close to Wisp Resort

This home was absolutely beautiful, very clean and very spacious. Despite other reviews, the hot tub was extremely clean. The owners do a great job of stocking the home with basic cleaning supplies, and I can only imagine the beauty of the porch in the summer. The home is extremely close to Wisp and Mountain State Brewing. We would definitely stay there again. My only suggestion is to provide more explicit directions to the home. Both Google Maps and Waze get you close but not exactly to the home. You need to follow the small Vacasa signs, which are hard to see in the dark.

Weekend away for adults

The home was very big and perfect for four adult couples. The home was old and outdated. The water for the hot tub was low when we arrived, the front door was broken and then certain appliances did not work correctly. Small things should be fixed, broken toaster pieces and coils on the oven did not work. It was not enjoyable looking for a hose in the cold to fill a hot tub for our weekend away.

Wonderful Winter Wonderland

We booked this property for a family and friends ski vacation and had a wonderful time. The house is spacious and contains everything you need for a weekend away. The kitchen was well stocked and had every tool or appliance you could possibly need. I was also worried about the temperature as we visited when it was very cold and snowy, but the house was well insulated and toasty warm. The wood burning fireplace, the hot tub, and the basement hang out all were awesome features that the kids really loved. The hot tub was especially enjoyable after a long, cold day on the slopes, and it was perfectly clean! We would definitely stay here again!
