Welcome to this gorgeous 4 bedroom chalet, located on top of the Wisp Mountain in the private community of Highline. You will be delighted with the architectural details such as the open floor plan, the uniquely designed large windows, floor to ceiling stone fireplace and hardwood floors. Green Gable's great room is perfect for family gatherings with plush furnishings, large flat screen TV, gas fireplace and beautiful views of the lake. The family room is intended for fun for the young and young at heart with TV, foosball game and access to the hot tub. Green Gables boasts 2 suites (one with its own wing for extra privacy) - great for a couples getaway! Grab your boards and skis because the slopes are calling.

*Please Note: A 4WD vehicle is required in winter months (November - March).

This property is conveniently located within walking distance to the access slopes to Main Street and also to the Adventure Sports Center for white water rafting. Call now to reserve this heavenly escape! **Approximately 275 yards to access Main Street (Expert slope). For your convenience, this home offers free wifi.

Beautiful and comfortable

We had a great time during our stay. The house was absolutely gorgeous, spacious and clean. So many areas to relax along with the hot tub. I highly recommend! We will definitely be staying again!

Great Deep Creek House

Our group of 5 women in our 30s stayed here for a bachelorette weekend. Easy access to Deep Creek Lake, local wineries, and restaurants. We enjoyed using the hot tub and fire pit on the cooler evenings.

Summer Vacation

Family Reunion stay for one family. Other 4 families stayed in nearby rentals!

Absolutely loved this house!!! We didn’t need for anything!!! Very spacious and clean!!! The fire pit was super nice! The entire neighborhood was so nice and peaceful! We can’t wait yo come back!!!

For a weekend getaway, the house was perfect. Great location and well appointed for 3 couples. Beds were comfy. TV’s were a bit complicated but we figured it out. Due to the weather, we didn’t use the hot tub or outside seating.

Pretty in Deep Creek

The property is beautiful and in a great location overlooking the lake from the back. When we arrived the door code didn’t work so we had to call the management company, but they got that sorted out on just a few minutes for us so that ended up being fine. The space was great for 3 couples and the fire pit was wonderful in the evenings. I would suggest the grill and fire pit get cleaned a little better as there were some smoke problems, but otherwise give this place a 5/5!

Quick Getaway

Some nice and not so nice things. Some stuff really worn where others were nice. Sleeps 10 yet ran put of hot water after one shower...maintenance did visit but told us we might have to stagger showers (4 women!). Gas fireplaces did not work, maintenance checked those too and couldnt get it to work. Hot tub good and fire pit good. Wash whatever you want to use in the kitchen first...some pans were filthy.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful week at Green Gables. The house was quite lovely and the close proximity to the Deep Creek State Park, Wisp Resort activities, and the neighboring parks made it a great location from which to operate and then regroup with family.

Will definitely be back

I came with a group of 6. The house was gorgeous very clean with a beautiful view of the mountains from the back balcony. There were a few cosmetic problems such as a leak in the bathroom ceiling when rained and a few of the TVs did not turn on. These things are small in comparison to our overall stay which was fantastic!

Overall great home

Home had pretty views, was very clean and nice working kitchen. The only negative was the AC wasn’t balanced. The lower level was freezing but lowering the AC made the upstairs hot. There are two bedrooms on the lower level so this made them not too useable unless the kids were bundled up. Otherwise would stay again.

Overall we were happy with our stay. The interior was clean and we had enough space for everyone. Kitchen was well equipped. The views were nice and we were close to activities. That being said, the condition of the property definitely has issues. Given the expense, we expected more, and surrounding houses looked to be in much better condition. Exterior- rotting trim pulling away from house, front walkway in disrepair, with visible landscape peg protruding through rotted wood - concerning having small children playing in the yard, nonfunctional gas grill- we had to get a propane tank, then when we tried to cook, it took over an hour just to get to 325 degrees.We had to give up and cook indoors,meaning we just wasted money on a propane tank. Unusable charcoal grill, basically falling apart with rusted grates. Decks had a lot of peeling paint. Inside- very low water pressure for showers, grill under gas fireplace kept falling out, and the property book said the fireplaces were not usable?? broken interior refrigerator drawer just stuck back on, so when we tried to pull out the drawer the whole front just fell off, had to just stick the food through the front of the drawer, found unwashed dishes in the cabinets- some with food stuck on them, slider to back deck was difficult to open and get closed all the way, but most disturbing, the door wouldn't really lock, simple tug in the locked position would open it right up. We had fun, but not sure this would be our pick next time

Great Spot for a Family Weekend

Overall the house was great & just as advertised. The not so good things…when we arrived we weren’t able to get the door opened & waited about an hour and a half for maintenance to arrive just to tell us the door required a heavy push (you really had to slam your body into it). Not a big deal but it would have been easier if the person on the phone told us that or there was a note on the door. The dishwasher had nasty sitting water in it & leaked. The blender was broken so when liquid came pouring out of the bottom. One of the chairs on the deck was broken & the cushions that were inside didn’t seem to quite match. The table for the deck appeared to be in the garage. There was a combination lock on the garbage that had just been installed so we asked a neighbor for the code (it was not in the book). The hot tub said it had been cleaned the day we arrived but the water level was low & by the time we left two days later was a nasty color & had an odor. There were also about 7 remotes - slightly confusing. When more than 2 people showered there was no hot water. The good…the space in the house was great (the main floor could use some furniture adjustments to better use the space). The downstairs area was great for our kids. All of the beds were very comfortable & all of the kitchen items we needed were available. The bathrooms were also great & several appear to have been remodeled. Good location. Almost 5 stars!

Green Gable @ Wisp Mt.

House was readily located. Only issues were an access code that needed updating before entering the bldg, a garage door that required resetting a couple of times over the weekend and bunk beds that required some reinforcement (taken care of by property technicians). The TV remotes were spotty at times and no live broadcast channels were available during our 6 day stay. All other amenities worked well. As described in your package, do remember to bring extra paper goods, dishwashing detergent, etc.
