Spectacular Stay by the Sea

My wife and I had an opportunity to stay in the upper unit at Changing Tides a couple of weeks ago, and we were so delighted by our experience!The view was unbelievable, and we were able to pop down to Cape Perpetua so easily (just 2-3 minutes!) that we ended up going hiking and exploring every day.It was an easy walk into town, and there was wildlife all along the way.The property was very well outfitted, and had everything we needed. We loved our stay, and have already recommended Changing Tides to friends and family.

A Lovely Week in Yachats

We have stayed at Rocky Shores before several times over the years and we love it because of the views over the waves and rocky shores.

WOW!! What a view

Location was better than expected. Quaint town that was fun, friendly and full of holiday activities. Family came for a short Christmas Staycation. Plenty of beds, well stocked kitchen and ample parking for multiple cars. We will be coming back Thank you for an amazing time

One of our Best Vacations.

We stayed in the upper unit. The views when you 1st walk in are just gorgeous. We stayed three last week of February. The weather ranged from sun, rain and hail, to even Snow. The house was perfect. We really only used part of it and never even turned on the tv in our 8 days there. We slept with our windows open and the sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks just puts you right to sleep. I called our host Duke to ask about a hot water issue. It was addressed quickly and our Host informed us of a cancelation due to weather and said we could get a couple extra days to avoid the weather ourselves. We stayed 1 extra day at a great rate. Duke was an amazing host and was prompt with all messages replies and phone as well. Hosts like Duke are hard to come by and very much appreciated. We will definitely be returning for more vacations here. Definitely one of the best vacation hones with amazing views on the Oregon coast. Thanks for everything. Kelly & Missy

Amazing Views

We stayed in the upper level unit, which had the most amazing views. We were there to watch big winter storm waves and we had a front row seat from the dining room area! At first, we were a bit concerned that the house was split into two units, but the upstairs and downstairs units are very isolated from one another (except the hot tub, which is shared). No noise issues at all. The property manager was very friendly and responsive to our unique needs resulting from a major storm and power outage. He did everything he could to accommodate us.

The most amazing views!

We have stayed in both units in the past and were thrilled to see them back on the short term rental market! This time it was the Upper one, but both are great. This is probably the best view in Yachats, and I’ve stayed in many over the years. The wave action is unparalleled and the changing tides engaging. The place is well equipped and maintained, WiFi is fast fiber, beds are comfortable and it’s a short walk to town. The owners and manager were readily available and contacted us about items left behind, which they offered to mail back! I’d love to keep this place a secret. We will be back regularly!

My family fell in love with Yachats 17 years ago the first time we saw the waves crash against the rocky coast. We want to eventually be able to move to Yachats (our happy place) full time, so when we found this house we couldn't resist. We decided to buy it and rent it out while we aren't there so others can enjoy it and fall in love with Yachats as we did.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!! The views from this oceanfront home don't get any better. and the house itself if beautiful and comfortable. It is great for anyone and everyone. It is a great place to work remotely for a time. It is a wonderful place to bring your family for an extended vacation. It is ideally located in the heard of Yachats and only 30 minutes south of Newport and 40 minutes north of Florence. Each of which are towns with their own coastal charm. There is lots of out door recreation near our home. The Cape Perpetua area is only a 5 minute drive away!

What more can I say about the location of this home, it is spectacular! If you like the rocky Oregon coast, then this is the place for you.
