Located in Homewood, CA our home is comfortable & cozy with modern amenities.
Indoor sauna, outdoor hot tub & gas fire pit for evening star gazing. Walk to and enjoy some beach time at Chambers Beach/Restaurant half mile from the home. Local hikes are abundant & close by!! Homewood Ski/Alpine Meadows/Palisades (Squaw Valley) are 1.7 - 13 & 15 miles respectively from the home.
Take a scenic drive to Emerald Bay (11 miles) or enjoy all the sights and activities of Tahoe City (8 miles away). Approximately 1 hour from Reno NV
Home owners are not liable for any harm to any guest by the amenities left in the cabin or the welcome package.

Great Spot for Friends Trip

This home was beautiful - pictures don’t do it justice. It’s centrally located to the places we wanted to go around Lake Tahoe and had pls try of room for our group of 11.

My family has stayed in Homewood for 43 years. This home was by far the best. It is immaculately clean, beautifully furnished, and it is clear the owners aim to welcome guests with extra touches. The kitchen is well-stocked. Sauna, hot tub, and kayaks are provided. We had a garbage disposal issue and the handyman fixed it within an hour. Enjoy!

Beautiful property with plenty of space for our large group. We came in the summer and appreciated the proximity to beaches on the lake. We also loved that the home was equipped with plenty of beach towels and chairs for our group. The porch was perfect for dinner on a hot summer evening. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful retreat

The house is located in a beautiful, quite neighborhood full of foliage. You can walk to the beach in just a few minutes. There is also a small hiking trail a few minutes away as well. Tahoe is stunning, and this home was a wonderful way to experience it with a larger group. The welcome presents were very thoughtful. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. I think we may have been the first of the season to book because there were a number of spider webs, but they were not an issue. The kitchen was fully stocked and the firepit was the perfect spot to see the stars. Close to the Rubicon hiking trail which is a must. We loved our stay!!

Great views at a cozy cabin

My friends and I had a great time staying at the cabin up in Homewood. It was a short drive to Olympic Valley and offered plenty of space for all of us to sleep when we weren’t out skiing.

Beautiful getaway

If you want to get away and enjoy the great outdoors but avoid the crowds of Lake Tahoe, this is a perfect stay. This is the 2nd time we've stayed at this location and loved it - super comfortable and great space for kids. There is a little window nook in one of the bedrooms that is our kids favorite place to hang out. We'll be back again for sure

Great week at chambers

Love staying here, it was clean, centrally located and the host was extremely responsive. Kitchen is stocked and hot tub is a nice touch.

Perfect home for a ski vacation

Property was perfect for a group of 12 and had great amenities including a hot tub. Paula was very responsive and helpful during check in and throughout our stay. We had a blast skiing Tahoe and the lake views 5 minutes from the property were stunning. Highly recommend this property for anyone thinking of visiting Tahoe!

Comfortable, spacious, clean getaway

Our family and friends had a great stay here. Paula was incredibly responsive to questions and accommodating. The home was clean, spacious and incredibly comfortable. The location was great, close to beaches and a short drive to Tahoe. We enjoyed being away from the usual Tahoe crowds. Would absolutely come back!

Absolutely perfect

This house is absolutely perfect, especially for a large group. There are plenty of beds/bathrooms, as well as places to gather. The kitchen is well-stocked, as is the garage, which has beach chairs and other supplies. The house is a short walk to Chambers beach. The hosts were communicative and accommodating, and eager to ensure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Great Property & Location!

We loved our stay here so much! The house was perfect for a trip with friends and the location was amazing to take advantage of all Tahoe has to offer in the summer! Paula was a really helpful & gracious host and was always available if we had any troubles. We'd love to stay at this property again & couldn't recommend this house enough.

Wonderful, family friendly stay

The house is lovely and great for kids, with an outdoor fire pit and backyard to run around in. Really nice finishings on the side, and the owner was so responsive to the many queries we had during our stay. We will definitely return!

Wonderful stay in Tahoe

Our family enjoyed a week in this lovely and comfortable cabin! We loved going to Chambers Beach nearly every day… truly a short walk away! We hope to return in the future.

Wonderful stay!

Our friends had such a great experience staying at Paula and John's. We ran into a small issue with the heating in the room above the garage which we flagged to Paula and John, to which they responded within minutes and fixed the problem. They were great hosts and their space was beautiful and well suited for a larger group. Well stoked kitchen, great access to Palisades Tahoe/Alpine Meadows or Homewood. Would recommend!

Fantastic Vacation home!

Based on the pics from the listing, this house looks great! However, there’s a lot more to see. I reserved this house to celebrate my 40th b-day with friends and family, and we were all impressed on how nice this property is. The listing pics doesn’t tell the whole story. There’s so much space, the rooms are very spacious, the bathrooms are really nice, the hot tub is amazing, kids can enjoy the backyard and front yard to play on the snow. Super fun time! One great feature to point out is the kitchen, I hired a personal chef to cook for us during our stay and the chef was really happy on how well the kitchen is stocked. Overall, the host gave as a terrific service from the beginning to the end and we all had a great time and levee the stay. Definitely recommend this property!!

Perfect West Shore Gem

This property is expertly updated and all of the amenities were of excellent quality. Check in was fairly straight forward although the having labels on the individual lock boxes may make things a bit smoother. Paula was an exceptional host and even when there were a few hick-ups with finding parking she was more than accommodating to help us find alternative options.

Our property is in a quiet area where you can truly relax. Chambers Landing Beach is just a short walk to be lakeside with loved ones for an afternoon of creating lasting memories.
Enjoy the yard with gas fire pit or unwind in the hot tub after a day of skiing. BBQ your family dinner and dine al fresco on the large back patio. Security Cameras are located on outside of property only, front porch and back porch.
