Thanks for your review. This was a hot summer, the hottest and driest I can remember in years. Typically it does cool down at night enough to cool the house down. I'm glad that you enjoyed the home.

A Muerteada is a vibrant, theatrical neighborhood celebration that takes place during Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), particularly famous in the Etla Valley region of Oaxaca. We always want guests to feel comfortable, and we also believe it is important to understand the cultural context and origins of artwork before publicly characterizing it. Regarding your other concerns: the All Star Village shows on the listing as being 54 minutes from the house based on VRBO's mapping; it is actually a 38-minute drive. This distance, along with aerial photos of the rural setting, was visible before you booked. We completely understand that you would have preferred to be closer to the park and in an area with more conveniences around it, but that is not the home you chose. The listing clearly describes a rural property without AC and with limited cell service, and includes a map. We take our responsibility seriously when it comes to providing accurate pictures, descriptions, and amenities, and we encourage all guests to review those details carefully to ensure a property is the right fit before booking.

The summer was just perfect, the rainbows were OUT OF THIS WORLD! I will be putting your picture on Instagram (busy enjoying summer myself). While we didn't have a lot of rain, this is actually good for raspberries. I'm glad that you were able to enjoy them. And I'm so happy that being wheel chair accessible worked for you. Especially with so many older homes in the area, it can be hard to find ones that are accessible. FYI, we keep the ramp shoveled in the winter! I hope to host you again.
