When you stay at Cottages on Moose, you truly will experience a home away from home!! With the exquisite sunrises over Moose Lake right outside your bedroom window, relaxation is sure to be on your agenda! Once you wake up, brew yourself a fresh pot of coffee and enjoy some breakfast in bed or out in your 3 season porch listening to the loons. Treat yourself to a hot shower with the hotel amenities provided, and decide if you want to spend your day canoeing around the lake, playing yard games, fishing, swimming in the clear, sandy beach, or reading a book in the hammock listening to the birds. As your afternoon draws to an end, grill up a nice dinner and stoke up a campfire with the wood provided and enjoy the company. Don't forget to catch that sunset, though! You won't regret it!
If the weather does not cooperate 100% with you during your stay, remain cozy and tucked in. Enjoy a DVD on the couch, put together a puzzle, get lost in a book, or simply enjoy a card game. We hope you love the Cottages on Moose as much as we do!
*This rental is for 2 cabins, each with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom each, and cabin #1 also has a sofa bed.

It was perfect! Neat and clean! Loya of options for play and relaxation. Beautiful breeze off the lake at night. Gorgeous sunsets! Fun fishing and a great sandbar for kids to play in!

Very beautiful in a private location. Also, very cleanly.Well, organized has everything you could imagine you'd ever need. Located on a beautiful lake clean water. Good for fishing and swimming. If you're looking for a beautiful cozy getaway, this is the place.

Great Summer Getaway!

We had a wonderful time at the Moose Lake cabins! Both cabins were clean and well equipped. The lake was fun for all! We fished, swam, and paddle boarded every day. We would definitely stay again!

Great vacation spot

Communication with owners is great. Everything you need is there. Screen porches are a nice bonus. Area is nice for swimming and fishing. A good relaxing place

Family loved our stay in these well kept cabins

Aside from a glitch with the check in process, it was a perfect stay for us with clean, comfortable and well stocked cabins. Owners are very pleasant and accommodating. The close proximity to the beach cannot be beat and we thoroughly enjoyed the sand beach and beautiful sunsets. Hope to be back there next year!

Family Vacation

Our annual family vacation with my two daughters. One is now married with a one year old daughter of her own and this property was perfect, allowing them to have a cabin and my husband and 17 year old a cabin. Everything was already there. It is a beautiful spot and the screened in spot was wonderful for an early morning cup of coffee to watch the hummingbirds. Easy check in and communication. We didn't spend a lot of time on site as we were in town to see family but the cabins were clean and beautiful.

Perfect Getaway

This little slice of heaven was perfect for our two little families. The water was clear and great for swimming (was a little mucky right off the dock, but if u want out a bit it was firmer). The big bock was a plus for the kiddos and we didn’t have to worry about them slipping. We enjoyed our time!

We had a good time everything was great at the site. Only thing was the bottom of the lake at the property was sticking to your feet or water shoes. It was a good time.

Two for one!

Loved the two little cottages! The lake was excellent for swimming! The canoes were nice to have! Kids enjoyed the paddle board! Bon fire was nice! Sunset was perfect each night! We lucked out with superb weather! Only downfall was didn’t have a trail to go hiking.

Good experience

Ashley was great to communicate with. The property is very nice. The outside space is great, sits right on the water. We cooked all our meals outside. The cottages came equipped with pretty much everything we needed. They are a little small but very nice. The sand near the shore can get soft but if you walk out far enough you’ll find hard sand. The views are great. We had a great time.

Family vacation with family

Was a nice setting and overall we were satisfied with our stay. We had 8 adults and 2 infants that stayed 7 days. 2 cabins was nice although one was updated and the other was not. We maxed out the garbage cans they had for us, only one towel per person was not enough so bring extra towels. Very little room for clothes in bedroom. They need more plates and eating utensils. Storage is a problem for dry food that you may bring. All and all the owners were great to work with and being new owners of the cabins are eager to make this place a great VRBO.

Sunset Dream Vacation

We had a fantastic stay at the cabins! We had 10 people stay at the cabins (5 adults and 5 kids under 5) and we all fit comfortably in each cabin including 4 pack ‘n’ plays. Everything was perfect! Both cabins were clean, comfy beds and were supplied with “items” that we needed! We could not have asked for better weather! The beach at the cabins was great for the kids since the lake was shallow and sandy. One thing that was great was the width of the dock, it was doubled in width which make it great for everything to feel safe on it. One of the best things about the cabins were the sunsets, every night it was breathtaking. The host were great to deal with and answered questions really quick. I would highly recommend this anyone to stay here and would definitely stay here again in a heart beat.

2nd Trip to Cottages on Moose Lake

This was my families 2nd summer in a row staying at the Cottages on Moose Lake. Once again, our family had an amazing trip! We had an amazing week of beautiful weather and gorgeous sunsets! When arriving, the check in is easy and both cabins were super cleaned which was great! Each cabin has 2 bedrooms that look onto the lake, enough kitchen utensil's, bathrooms/showers, quaint living room area and 2 screened porches that came in clutch. We have younger kids ages 2.5-3.5 years old and my brother's family had 2.5 and 6 year old. The dock is awesome, big and super wide which makes it safe with all the kids playing on it and tying my boat to it. We were able to catch a few smallies from the dock which was a bonus. With all the kids being younger than 6, they love swimming and this lake is perfect for it. It is one of the reason why we started coming here. It is the perfect depth for the kids! The fishing was good again this year! Lastly, the property owners are awesome and are quick to respond to you if you have questions! We look forward to staying here again next year and I would recommend staying here in a heart beat.

Overall the property was great. We got 4" of rain one day which I know is alot, but from that point on the property from the decks to the water was saturated with water coming up from the soil. After a couple days it began to smell bad, but that's what happens.

Neighbors were friendly. Lake front not for swimming. Mucky with leaches. Took my own time to organize the storage shed on the property. We were told absolutely no pets, yet the following group was allowed to have their pet for the duration of their stay. Overall, the property was clean with beautiful scenery, kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable. Very nice dock. We did have a good time there. Free firewood was a huge plus. Would recommend as a week long stay.
